This place is a real gem in the Freano/Clovis area. It's free and is larger than I anticipated. There are different ecosystems of gardens that are all native to California. It's beautiful in Spring! There is an information center and gift shop, the proceeds go back to the garden. There are also a couple of yard displays to help show how to landscape with native low water plants! I love relaxing here, it's great for kids also.

An oasis in an urban setting. Lots to see and contemplate here, either by yourself or with your family. Gives you a glimpse into what drought tolerant/resistant gardening can look like with plants from all over the world, including California.

Beautiful oasis, so many flowers in bloom! Enjoyed strolling around here w my 1 year old grandson. He lived the sound garden, and all the flowers.

My wife and I came here yesterday with some friends. it's a nice place to take a stroll and look at a variety of plants from different places around the world. it was a bit warm but this place has multiple places you can chill in the shade and are pretty scenic. some plants do attract a lot of bees so if you fear or are allergic to bee stings, I'd go with caution. All and all, if you're looking for a nice little place to walk around and just relax, this is the place to come.

Such a cute garden! Early morning strolls before the heat to see all kinds of plants and to relax under the trees. It’s really beautiful. Free to enter and has a little kids play area. Also dry creek park is right outside for playground and grass area.

Enclosed botanical gardens adjacent to Dry Creek park with easy access on Clovis Ave. Really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the individual gardens specifically the Sensory Garden area with the trickling fountain. The succulents were also a highlight. There is a small store/information center to your left as you enter.

It's very peaceful, it makes you forget that you're in the valley. A great place for beginning photographers to learn their craft. And there's a couple areas where the birds like to hang out.

If you have never came here I recommend you check it out especially during the spring time with flowers blooming! It was super pretty today and way bigger than I expected. They had a lot of benches where you could sit and relax. Overall it was super calming to come to the gardens and this was only my first time! I will definitely be coming back!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place with a wide variety of plants! There are many benches throughout the garden perfect for relaxing on a quiet day, I ended up spending over an hour there. I really appreciated the informational signs and the labels on almost all of the plants. We ended up buying a couple plants and I will definitely be coming back in the future for more. There’s also a small children’s garden, a sensory garden, and some interactive exhibits which I loved!

Excellent small Mediterranean-oriented garden that accepts donations for entry (free if you like). Nice to spend an hour or so. Great benches for sitting and contemplating.

This is a beautiful Botanical Garden that is open to the public. The garden is well kept and continually expanding. There are signs throughout that not only identify plant species but also support Botanical education.

Absolutely gorgeous! To think they just work with volunteers and the place looked great. If you're looking for a place to have a quick lunch, a celebration, some exercise or just a peaceful moment, this is the place to go. I love it!

Very educational. This is a great garden with many native and water wise plants on site. You can see the plants and how they look in a real world setting. A lot to see and take in, and a very nice tranquil setting. It's also right next to one of the Clovis walking trails, there is also adequate parking and a regular kids park at the same location. Worth the trip.

Absolutely beautiful flowers and plants here. I love macro and despite coming off a pretty chilled winter, all of the plants were in pretty well kept condition, making for some amazing shots in late January. There were some pollinators as well (bees and such) but couldn't land a solid shot on those, I'll be back for sure! Parking was a little hectic, but there were a lot of people enjoying the area which is refreshing.

It is pretty for taking pictures and there is a really nice park for kids next to it. I was just wishing to find sunflowers for a particular photo thing I had in mind, but didn't come across any on this particular day. I'm from Ohio and normally late August to September is when Sunflowers are out in that region. I will have to remember that California is different.

Very relaxing place for a quiet stroll. Would be great if more of the plants and trees were identified. Free and plenty of parking.

Always beautiful. Changing with the seasons and periodic new plantings keep each visit interesting. New areas being created welcome children to learn about plants and nature, and offer everyone a peaceful place to relax . . . . Visitor supported, please help

Beautiful garden with some well thought out pathways. I like how they divided the garden into different plant types and there’s plenty of spots to sit down and enjoy the views. Because of COVID some of the exhibits were a little wild or dried out, but it only added to experience. You can walk the whole garden in about an hour. But bring an umbrella for shade if you come during the summer. Only con, some parts of the garden are too close to the road/road noise.

Small Garden. Not much to see here. They took donations at the entrance. It was extremely hot when we went and a lot of the flowers and plants were dried out.

This is a hidden gem. This FREE to walk threw garden was super fun to walk around and see all the diversity in plants. The workers were very nice, and I love that you have the option to volunteer here as well. :)

Beautiful gardens. So many different plant's and flowers. Very therapeutic walking around and listening to the huge metal bong chims that a talented man was playing.

This Clovis heat has brought drought to the garden, unfortunately! However it doesn't take away from the beauty that still exists - murals, sculptures, landscaping, and a myriad of plants that represent a multitude of California as a whole. There are plans for even more representation soon, too including a Native American exhibit by 2024 and a grassland exhibit -hopefully- by the end of 2022. I took my boyfriend here for the first time about a week ago, it's a beautiful little date to get out and walk in nature and experience the beauty that surrounds us. 🌼
