Puzzle Effect was super fun! Bring some friends/associates and have a blast. We did not finish this room, will have to return and try again!

I have thoroughly enjoyed every visit to this location and have completed all the current set. I highly recommend The Reel and Amnesia, as they are extremely brain twisty puzzles. It is terrific fun for a group of friends, and the game masters won't let you stay stuck and frustrated for too long before doling out a hint to get you moving again.

Thank you Trevor! We had so much fun playing the "Reel" room tonight! My two preteen stepdaughters are in town for the summer and we were looking for something fun to do on their dad's one day off this week. We had one reluctant participant but within a few minutes of being in the room she was smiling and confidently discovering the first hidden clues for our group! We all were able to contribute and and each if our unique strengths were able to shine and play a part in getting us to the end- with over 15 minutes to spare! Not bad for first timers! It really brought together the family on a day where tensions got a bit high and let us end the day smiling and laughing with each other. That is a gift in and of it's self! Thanks again to our host Trevor!

Me and my kids played Reel and our game master was Trevor & Erin. Trevor did an amazing job making this first time experience memorable. Would recommend this place for a family game night!

We had a great time tonight at Puzzle Effects-Clovis! The Reel (80’s Movie Theatre) was impressive! Maisie was very helpful when I had a scheduling issue! We’re excited to do Prohibition soon- since the weather is still mild! Thanks again, Maisie!

Today, we played two rooms- The Reel (80s movie theatre) and the Crimson Storm (pirate ship). Both rooms were fun and interesting- atmospheric with puzzles unique to both rooms. We escaped both rooms with about 1 1/2 minutes (Reel) and over 20 minutes (Crimson Storm) to spare. It's becoming one of my favorite Escape room spots!

Trevor was instrumental in ensuring we were well-prepared for our escape room adventure. His friendly and humorous approach instantly put us at ease and added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. Our choice, the Amnesia puzzle, turned out to be a remarkable choice. The puzzles were challenging and required both teamwork and individual problem-solving skills, making it all the more satisfying when we solved them. What I particularly appreciated was the way hints were handled. They were subtle, providing just the right amount of guidance without giving away the solutions. This approach encouraged us to put our heads together and think critically, contributing to our sense of accomplishment. The hour we spent in the escape room was an absolute whirlwind of excitement. Not only was it a mentally stimulating challenge, but it also offered pure, unadulterated fun. The value for money in terms of the sheer enjoyment and adventure it offered was excellent. In conclusion, the escape room experience at this establishment is not only a great way to test your wits but also a fantastic way to bond with friends or family. It's reasonably priced, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an engaging and entertaining challenge.

The guy there says it's best to come in a group of 3 to 4 people. It's 34 bucks a piece I think he said. The rooms are set up to look like wherever you're supposed to escape from. He said you can go solo if you want.

Went to do Amnesia with a group of friends and we had a great time. Bryan was up at the front when we arrived and was very friendly. The puzzles were engaging and Trevor, our game master, was on point with the clues, making sure we didn't spend to much time being confused. Can't wait to go back and try out the other rooms!

The movie theater theme was engaging, difficult, but not overwhelming. I was nervous at first, scared of getting anxiety also, being a ➕️ size person , I was worried I would be holding my team back , it turned out it was more mental than physical and I was able to be an asset. Only finished 63% of the escape ran outta time, but it was fun. Only reason it gets 4 out of 5 is that some hints were a little vague and unlike some escape rooms it didn't give hints pretaing to specifically your team and the bathrooms were clean but located around corner from the escape place and I felt if the wrong person was lerking the possibility of someone helping you would be unlikely. But besides that it was a good experience and staff was cool.

My escape room partner and I have played two rooms here. Their rooms are cool, no doubt, but they are getting three stars because of their clue system. Puzzle Effect operates on a progression based system so the GM’s decide when you need a hint. This unfortunately leads to a lot of time wasted within the rooms. There were times in both games we played where we could have used some direction and received nothing as we had to wait for the GM to deem a hint necessary.

My family and I came here on 06/18/23 to celebrate Father’s Day. Both dads in our party had a great time and so did everyone else! Thank you so much Puzzle Effect for providing us with excellent customer service and great entertainment. The only thing I would have changed is the fact that you do not call the front when you need a clue and instead you have to wait for them to give you a clue which can take a while. Other escape rooms do this and it works really well in my opinion. Besides that everything was great and the rooms are all really creative! We are planning to do the outdoor adventure when it is not as hot. Thank you so much to Macy, Trevor, and the entire Puzzle Effect team for making our experience with the Amnesia room enjoyable.

We did "The Reel" room. It is a very well done escape room with great theming and logical puzzles. Bryan was an awesome game master. I highly recommend this escape room!

We LOVED our experience at Puzzle Effect. 2 of us had done an escape room before and 2 had not - and those 2 were very apprehensive and unsure about the whole thing. As soon as we got there, Bryan gave us thorough instructions and let us know the door to the room is not locked and we could leave anytime if needed. That put their minds at ease that they weren't trapped. As did the fact that he and Erin, our game masters, would offer clues throughout the hour if we needed them. We did the pirate-themed room "Crimson," which was the least challenging of the 3 room options. This was perfect for us since we were beginners. We all jumped right in and each helped solved the puzzles. It definitely takes teamwork, creativity and outside-the-box thinking. It pushes you mentally and it feels great every time you get one of the puzzles right and of course when you solve the final puzzle and succeed at "escaping." My family and I loved every minute. We appreciated how helpful and friendly Erin and Bryan were and all the attention to detail of the room and the game. When we were leaving, we were already planning our next visit to Puzzle Effect when we would do the next most challenging room, The Reel. I would definitely recommend Puzzle Effect for families, friends and coworkers to do together!

This was a lot of fun. We did the movie theater room and the puzzles were challenging enough to take some time to figure out, but not too challenging to feel frustrating. The two employees we interacted with were both extremely friendly. They were accommodating to our group that ranged from 4 years old to 71 years old. Great place to have some fun with friends and family.

Last Sunday was my first go at an escape room and Puzzle Effect in Clovis delivered! The room was fun, challenging, and gave a truly rewarding feeling each time we cracked a clue. Our Game Masters Aubrey and Jess were fantastic! They didn’t give too many, or too few, hints and helped keep us moving. I’d recommend them to anyone and I can’t wait to try the other two rooms.

What a great first experience for my kids! I took my 2 boys and one of their friends to play The Crimson Storm, and to say they were excited doesn’t even begin to cover it! We got SO close to getting the treasure, but we ran out of time; the last riddle was so tricky. Aubrey checked us in and gave us the rundown; she was so sweet, professional, and very patient with the kids (gave them some extra time to solve a riddle we were stuck on). Trevor came in to take our photo at then end of the game, and gave the boys the last lock combination to get the last item we needed in order to get the treasure chest open. He was so incredibly kind! The boys were dying to see what was inside that chest, and kept trying to open it during the game! My youngest son (11) discovered where one of the keys went, and I was super impressed because I never would have guessed! Such a blast, and a great way to spend time together! Thank you, Puzzle Effect! We will definitely be back!

Three of my friends and I did the Amnesia room and we LOVED it. The puzzles were super imaginative, the theme was great (almost Portal/Aperture Science), and the staff was very helpful (we were ten minutes early and she let us go right in!). We had such a great experience, we were talking about it the rest of the day and we've already committed to go back for another puzzle.

My friends and I played The Crimson Storm room and escaped! We had so much fun in the process. The decor, puzzles, and clues were all so well thought out. This was my second time coming to Puzzle Effect and we will definitely be back! Gracie was our Game Master and she was the best!
