Food is worth the price. You can make your food spicy with level 0 to 5. Customer service is really good too. We will definitely be back whenever we are in the Clovis area. They are doing take out only til further notice.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I have had. I travel to Fresno/Clovis monthly for work and like to support local establishments as much as possible. First time ordering from this venue. I had House Egg Foo Young and Potstickers. The Egg Foo Young was so over-cooked and dry I had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. As well, it had a peculiar taste, as if one, or more, of the ingredients was tainted. Conversely the Potstickers were under-cooked and gummy.

11/08/2023 - This place used to be good. Unfortunately it has recently been taken over by new owners. The food has changed a lot. The orange chicken should be called orange fried dough, vegetable pan fried noodles now come floating in some kind of sauce and partially cooked, wonton soup taste like old chicken and all the wontons are stuck together. Whatever you do, don’t call to try to explain you’re not happy with the food….. you will be met with a bad attitude that obviously doesn’t care. Good luck new Owners!!!!

Best Chinese food I've had in a LONG Time. My husband likes to mix the happy family and the house special chow mein. Highly recommended.

Meat in soup tasted "off" borderline spoiled. Spring rolls ok. Soup had mostly noodles and bean sprouts. Stopped on my way out of town. Probably a one-time stop

Food is amazing and portion sizes are great! Friendly staff and food always is hot and fresh. If you haven’t gone then do yourself a favor and try it! I definitely recommend the Mongolian beef chow mein and walnut shrimp😋

Very good food. Got the Mongolian beef chowmein and it was really good everything was just right. This was the first Chinese restaurant that I didn't not have to add soy sauce to the food. It was delicious. My dad's meal came with friend shrimp and the only complaint he had was about the breading on it. I will be going back.

I wanted to eat pho wich was good, but my boyfriend's mixed chow main was meh, the flavors were there but the meats were just a little of each nothing compared when he go to eat there, according to him!

Got the lunch special and the vegetables wernt cooked all the way. Asked for a 4 spicy an wasnt spicy at all. Still surprised you can not sit an eat inside since covid has been done. They do not give you soup any longer with the lunch special so I'm sure this helps them cut costs. I will not be back until you can dine in again.

Chicken was a little dry but other then that was good chow main was not greasy I like that did not that long to cook they ask how many things you need and as well cookies they still practice 6 feet rule and it is take out only I like so not a lot of traffic

The staff are super fast and the food hits the spot perfectly as a guilty indulgence. Greasy spoons move over for this flavor packed greasy Chinese food. After adding more veggies to the food I was able to make two meals with guilt included on both!

Just a message to the owners they need to start checking temperature on food as well as starting timers on food and definitely stay away from cross-contamination meaning do not cook chicken with pork with beef etc. I cannot handle pork so I never order anything with pork I did order some orange chicken and some shrimp prawns a couple of weeks ago and got severely sick from it. I'm not going to bash them because overall their food is good, very very nice people but nowadays I know people are not too nice and they will be causing issues if they would have got as sick as I did. The food was either bad or they got pork juice or something on the chicken or prawns.

The China Chef is located at the Willow station but is tucked away on the side facing Nees Ave. Their shrimp chow mein is amazing and this place is always really clean. It’s a great place to go to escape the crowds while not having a fast food taste experience.

The way American Chinese food should be. This place is great! The service is also superb even with covid. Chow mein I good and so much better than panda.

I was looking for a quick Mongolian beef fix when I found China Chef. On live in the area and didn't realize this place was around the corner from us. I had the combo #7, Mongolian beef combo plate with a side of pot stickers. The food was delicious, fresh and best of all, week priced. China Chef! I will definitely be returning. Absolutely delicious!!! 😍

Pick up price was very good. Taste as good as it looks. Portions are verrrry filling.

Large portions and price is good! Fried rice is a little dry. I had the combo 3 , chow mein and fried rice, sweet sour pork. Overall a good experience for first time. Will be back and recommending. This place is take out only no delivery or dine in. Glad the website had a clear menu and phone ordering for take out was quick!

First time eating there with speedy delivery. Had the orange chicken was very tender.sweet and sour pork was great and honey walnut shrimp very good. wasn't overly sweet. All was delicious. Definitely will try again
