Macy's Plus size section, (Everything over a size 12.) is on the lower level. Poorly staffed, not well maintained & downright UGLY compared to the rest of the store. What an insult to normal sized and plus sized folks. "Go to the basement & pick over the packed racks of junk." That's the atmosphere down in the dungeon with the other "fat" people Wow Macy's 😱😳🤬

TLDR: Don't use curbside pickup at this Macy's!! Good luck getting your stuff using Curbside Pickup here. I've tried using it 3 separate times now. One time they did attempt to find me and even called me (they hung up before saying anything) but then gave up so I ended up having to go inside and wait in line for my items. My husband waited in the pickup section and after no one came out after 15 minutes he started calling the store, he did this for over 20 minutes with no one ever answering the call or coming outside so he also had to go inside and wait in line. The most recent time (06/26/2022), my husband again went to the curbside pickup spot and he waited for close to 30 minutes while I went inside to visit the Estee Lauder counter and take a peek at Backstage and once again no one came out with our order and no one called. This has irritated the both of us to the point that we will not be shopping at this location anymore.

Horrible experience picking up order at Macy Valley Fair. Made me feel like a criminal even though I paid online, had bar code, driver’s license, proof of everything. Clerk called manager and it just got worse for me. Never had this happen to me before. Lousy customer service. Just wanted to pick up my merchandise and leave. They wanted to scan my drivers license and I refused to let them scan my information. Too much identity theft going on, not going to give my personal info out.. Get with it Macys. This is why you’re losing to Amazon. After I got the credit refund I go and buy the watch and the manager follows me and stand right next to me entire time. Why do you need to follow a 62 year old lady? Do you think I’m not going to pay and I’m going to run? Just a horrible experience. You need to get some training on customer service. Never experienced something like this before.

I have bought a lot from this Macys. I am giving stars because Macys furniture section is fantastic. We liked a huge couch and went back to decide a zillion times, the gentleman who helped us was extremely polite, helpful and patient. We bought tons of furniture but had to cancel because of incorrect space calculation. He was very cool about it and helped us a lot. I took off stars because of clothing section. It’s the most haphazard organization I have ever seen. I wanted to buy pants and it was impossible to find a section where I could. Cashier made us wait for 10 mins before he disappeared on us. May be it’s because of pandemic. Another issue was to get into the parking structure. It’s a pain. Now parking is paid, with first 2 free hours. Remember to pay at PayStation before getting into the parking structure once you head back. Overall a torturous experience. I will stick to Macys online, happy ordering from my couch!!

We went to return a couple of gifts. God awful excuse of a store, no kid’s area cashier for at least the 30 minutes that we waited for someone to show up. When we went on a safari trying to find someone to help us, we finally came upon a sad corner of the store entitled “backstage”, where two of the rudest human beings of all time were working (if management is interested, it’s whoever was there at 6 PM on Monday 1/2). As soon as we approached, from the get go the lady was doing everything she possibly could to send us away with our returns. She started out by lying that there’s nothing she could do without a gift receipt, didn’t even bother looking at the tags to see if there was a barcode (there was) but insisted for 2 minutes there was nothing for her to scan. We literally had to point out the policy that was written on the wall sitting right next to her head for the entirety of her daily duration at this miserable place. I mean she was TRYING to be obnoxious and send us away empty handed. When we finally got her to return the items, she gave us a receipt for about half of what the items are actually worth, looked like numbers she typed in her self. By that point I really didn’t care, I just wanted to get out of her toxic environment in that cesspit This was after we went to the cashier upstairs and they (again very rudely) pointed us to the kids area downstairs, like I get that it needs to be returned to the kid’s section but it’s the same store/company, are you guys really that incapable? Is your system that incompetent? Or were we just sent on another wild goose chase? I guess we’ll never find out because we’ll never shop there again and neither should you if you value your time, life is too short, trust me.

It is popular store in United States of America. Lot of variety is available in this. New fashionable clothes available for men women and children. Mostly all things available in this store. You can return or replace the clothes within 30-60-90 days. Nice collection of this store. Cooperative staff.. good to go for shopping

I was surprised how messy this so called high end store was. And rude. Yes there is a sale but thats no excuse for how unwelcoming some staff were and the chaos of how the clothes were shoved on the racks and all over the floor. And to have fitting rooms closed off! Seriously? I wasn't the only one upset.. I won't be going to this store anytime soon..which means I won't be going to this mall..

Very good of quality clothing, glasses, and colognes you can find here. Some things are very expensive while others less of that; overall a great place to find good clothing. Employees are nice people as well.

This was the first time I am visiting Macy's after being back in the US. We were shopping for women's clothing, and the experience was horrible: there were no sales ladies to help us: we needed to take measurements. The one or two sales ladies we found can't speak English and had no interest in helping us: they were useless. We left Macy's in disgust and went to another store. We ended up buying a lot from Uniqlo: simple, clean and easy choices.

An awesome and a big place, but can use more people. When I was trying to find something, there was no one to reach out to. The only person I found was the one at the billing desk. And the whole place definitely needs tidying up. It feels like you’re going through a lot of mess. Different size of the same attire is found in different sections, quite tiring to hunt for the size you’re looking for. The lower level certainly needs some colour or lively feel, I felt like strolling through an uninviting warehouse. And also they should put few more chairs nearby the fitting rooms. Don’t you think that people are going to take time in trying before they buy and the person accompanying would need something to sit on. Please extend a little more courtesy or just follow suit of what the mall management is doing, putting lots of chairs and couches wherever possible because it’s a lot of walking or waiting. TIP: Ask the billing person to check if they can give you a little discount - YES, THEY CAN. I got a little more in addition to THE LAST ACT discount, pretty lucky me.

The women’s and men’s sections are on opposite sides of the mall. The petite women’s section was a bit of a mess, especially the petite evening dresses. The regular sizes were mixed in with petite and it was very hard to find the right size.

Very spacious shopping place. We visited the day after Christmas and felt its holiday atmosphere. It is very far away from Macy’s Women and you will basically need cross the whole mall from Macy’s Women to Men😀 The Kitchen section offers lots of options for your needs. The men’s clothes have also lots of choices for us. The only inconvenience is that only one cashier was there for men’s clothes and you needed to wait in line to pay.

Palkita is the best, she was the only one who helped us out on the floor & finding a fitting room⭐ another awesome cashier helped us at 5:30-5:40pm on 11/1/23 in the dress area while checking out. Wish it was more helpful to find an elevator in the area due to having some family with me who were accessible ♿

I recently visited this store and had a generally positive experience. The store has a nice atmosphere and a chill vibe, which makes shopping enjoyable. However, one downside is that it can be a bit challenging to find associates for assistance, and certain areas of the store were quite messy during my visit. Despite this, it's not a bad place to shop if you don't mind some extra searching for help.

Macys is a typical higher end department store. My wife found a dress she liked but they didn't have any inventory. We had to order it online.

I hate shopping but needed some plus sized outfits for a trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and prices. As someone whose body shape is very hard to fit, I actually found some flattering pieces including dresses, nice tops and pants. Sure beats ordering 100 items online and sending 99 of them back. I spent an hour at Macy's and got the task done.

Even though there's lot of merchants to choose from, Macy's still have some staples that you are just so used to going/doing which I am so glad they kept. Like, the watch area has a good variety of non- & brand name watches, same with the perfume area, etc.

I am a regular & happy customer of Macy’s. This is about my visit yesterday to the footwear section. I was struggling to find something specific till I met with Jamilete. She went above & beyond in assisting me. It is hard to find a person as understanding & dedicated 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I was not finding one option but then ended up buying two!

When Macy's were a place to shop and they had quality and quantity. My recent visit they had only few dress shirts and mostly summer collection like any other stores. Like if im going to attend a wedding, ill be going in my Nike collection.

Quite frankly this Macy's looks like most other Macy's in terms of size and scale of options, products, etc. If you like Macy's this place is as good as any other Macy's. The biggest issue is that Valley Fair shopping center now charges for parking. So if you go over 2 hours in the shopping center you will be paying for your parking.

Didn't actually buy anything this time period haven't really shopped at a Macy's since I was a teen in the eighties. Though this one is very spacious that didn't have the aisle's crammed full of stuff and the employee seemed pleasant in this minor amount I dealt with them. It is 1 that I would go back to if I was going to shop at a Macy's. Very clean obviously attached to them all the escalators were working. There's we're working. Everything seemed to find here

I do not often go to Macy's, it is a bit too pricey for me, but my mother loves it She gets great deals for being a regular customer I guess. I just went there to return an item that I received for Christmas. I located an employee and explained that I would like to return an item. He was just there talking to another employee no one else around store was pretty empty. And he looked at me like let me see. And he looked at the receipts do you have the credit card. I explained it was my mother's I could call her if you'd like, and he just rolled his eyes and let out a sigh. And with great effort he asked me if I would like it returned to the card or put on a gift card, and I asked him to put it on a gift card. Again his reaction was a big sigh and his shoulders went down, then he dramatically put his head down and punch the buttons on the register got the card out and swiped it and said here you go. It was like I was very much inconveniencing him and not doing what he would have liked me to do but my great effort to do it anyway. Give me a break. I've had bad customer service before and been much more lenient, but this employee, nuff said!

Who wouldn't love Macy's ?? This mall has 2 stores ar different corners. One is for women and the other one for men and home decor. Don't forget to check out 'Macy's Backstage' store below the Men's section. You never know what you can find there super cheap!

This place has everything a woman is looking for and more! You can easily get lost and you will spend more time and probably more money than you first prepared for! Overall is a great experience if you have many hours to kill.

I am writing this review to thank and compliment a Stylist at this location… Daniel Rodriguez. I live in the Los Angeles area and have been searching for a Mother of the Groom dress. I found one tucked away in the middle of a sales rack at the Macy’s in South Coast Plaza, yet I needed a different size. I called several Macy’s and had a difficult time finding anyone to pick up, and when I did get lucky enough to speak to someone, I was told that it would be close to impossible to find my dress. Finally, I decided to try this location and was lucky enough to have my called directed to Danny! When explaining my situation, he took the style number, asked for the dress description and said that he would go and search for my dress. He works as a Stylist and not in the department where the dress would be, yet he was so kind as to offer to go and search for it! I was very surprised to receive his callback telling me that he found my dress. This may not sound like a huge deal, but when searching for a dress for a special occasion, such as your child’s Wedding, it really is a huge deal. He was such a pleasure to work with over the phone, making me feel like he understood the importance of me locating this dress. Honestly, it’s so rare to find help like this, along with an amazing and kind attitude. I am very thankful! I hope this review gets to his manager because I feel he should be rewarded for going out of his way and doing a remarkable job! He could have easily turned me away mentioning that he is in a completely different department, but instead he made a returning Macy’s customer extremely happy! He is definitely an asset to this Macy’s location…THANK YOU DANNY!!!
