    Today my grandma visited this Macy's. She was looking to buy some stuff as she normally would. Unfortunately she ended up being a victim of racism and disrespect. You see she picked up everything she wanted and headed for the cashier. The cashier looked Asian, female, maybe in her 50's or 60's. As my grandma was told the price she respectfully reached in her purse looking for her Macy's card. While she was looking for her card she was told she had to show a California ID in order to complete the purchase. This was very unusual because normally when you would present your Macy's card you wouldn't be asked to show ID. But she respectfully pulled out her ID. She was then rejected by the cashier and told she could not use any other ID, that she needed to show a sort of California ID, like a drivers license or anything else. This was very concerning since you should be able to show any type of valid ID and be able to proceed with your purchase. You could be using an Arizona ID or a Washington ID, or any other ID to proceed with the check-out. I wondered why it specificity had to be a California ID. This could be considered an act of racism and disrespect toward my grandma. In addition it also caused my grandma to feel very upset. She told me she felt like a victim of racism and felt very disrespected. I hoped that was all the cashier needed to say, she had already hurt my grandmas feeling and caused her to be very upset. Unfortunately, it was not. The cashier persisted to accuse my grandma of stealing. You could only imagine how devastated she would feel after that. My family in general and I are very upset with Macy's unacceptable actions. We would go to Macy's every so often. It was a well known place within our family, a place where we were treated with respect and exposed to good customer service. This act of disrespect and racism SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED ANYWHERE. Below is a receipt to prove that my grandma indeed did have balance in her Macy’s Account

    I was next in line on a woman said that she could help me at another register. We walked 200 ft with my seven and three-year-old and then she put me in a line behind two other people... What?

    My shopping experience at Macy's I will admit was not to pleasant. Once I picked out my items I wanted it was hard to find a checkout cashier. It felt like it was Christmas time. There were long lines and only one cashier. The store was very clean very nice.

    Very helpful Perfume salesperson, they helped me pick out colognes for me. They weren't pushy or aggressive and let me test out many colognes. They also gave me samples for colognes I was also thinking about buying.

    They sell bad channel perfumes, only last for 10-20 minutes. Do not buy perfumes here.

    Very nice mid to high end store. They have many name brand items such as Gucci, Movado, Chanel, etc. They also have very good customer service, their representatives wait patiently while u r trying to make a decision , and never try to rush u. It's a very nice store , well laid out with lots of free parking.

    My boyfriend and I had the most disappointing experience at this Macy's location. We were excited to explore their sofa section, as we are in the process of furnishing our new home. However, our excitement quickly turned into frustration and humiliation. Within a mere five minutes of sitting on one of the display sofas, we were abruptly asked to leave by an elderly staff member. His demeanor was shockingly rude, and he failed to provide a reasonable explanation for our eviction. It's disheartening to believe that this mistreatment might be racially motivated, as I can't help but wonder if we'd have been treated the same way if we were of a different ethnicity. We've visited multiple Macy's stores in our quest for the perfect sofa, and never have we encountered such an appalling situation. It's mind-boggling that customers are not allowed to sit on display sofas without clear instructions or proper protection measures in place. This incident left us deeply disappointed and humiliated, casting a dark shadow on our perception of Macy's as a reputable store. We sincerely hope that Macy's management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures that all customers are treated with the respect and fairness they deserve when visiting their stores.

    Hi everyone happy holidays well to tell you my experience with Macy's customer service. It was horrible my wife brought me a watch for Christmas the name of the watch is a citizen eco drive promaster blue angels standard edition JY8128-56L. Well being that the watch is a collector's edition their was some items missing from the watch. So I called customer service first I was waiting for a half an hour before they were able to talk to me. Secondly when I told them the story about the watch they told me that they could not discuss anything about the watch without my wife's permission. I told them that how ridiculous they sounded being that I had the receipt and the purchase number to the watch. They said it was there policy I can tell you it was very frustrating dealing with customer service. So I finally got my wife to call them and exchange the watch all I can say is that if you are going to buy any type of jewelry beware of what you are going to have to go through and for that reason I give them a one star if I had it my way they would get a zero

    Staff doesn’t check credit card information. Long story short, my credit card was stolen from my mailbox. My provider recommended that I wait to cancel the card and didn’t fulfill my request to close the card. The stolen card was used at Macy’s for $800 and the cashier seemingly did not bother to check the card for ID— even on such a large balance. I tried to call the Macy’s (after letting the bank know of this update). Their phone automation was terrible and eventually lead me to a broken extension. The call dropped.

    Unbelievable..... I went in for some men's cologne I was planning on getting just one item... But the sales people were so good at what they do I walked away with two.. extremely helpful extremely polite absolutely not one complaint... I will return.. and I just might give up shopping online at Macy's....

    My wife needed a specific cosmetic and they had it it was great. We looked at pennies and they didn't even have cosmetics anymore what about. But Macy's was well stocked not to worry they're still in the cosmetics business!!

    I haven't been to Macy's for a long time because I think of it as being higher end than my current needs. We needed a good men's suit, though, so we went there. We found a perfect one,von sale for a price we were willing to pay. A complete success! Alas, we did not encounter a single employee who could help in any way. There were cashier's, but the first one couldn't check us out, and the one who could take our payment had no idea how to get a suit into a bag.

    Macy's east ridge return dept. Had a very condescending rep and manager. They talked down to me rather than listen to my response. I had to tell them I understood what they were saying. Once I left I heard then chuckle. Very rude. I probably have more education then both of them our together.

    I went in for makeup, and there were two girls helping one did not know what she was doing or talking about and the other had an extremely rude attitude. Management should retrain them for customer service and product knowledge. I really wanted to buy makeup and learn more about what products suited me best, this was a disappointing experience.

    Nice sales today and the nicest employees. The best entrance in is at lower north facing parking lot that leads into the fragrance department😍. So much parking available too. There is also an electric car charging station right in front of Macy's..great place.

    I loved my experience at Macy's. The staff was very attentive and they have such a wide selection of amazing dresses. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed and they staff made sure I was comfortable. I could spend a whole week in there trying on dresses. Their selection of non-wedding dresses are amazing too. Loved the variety of colors. Can't wait to get married!
