I enjoyed myself at Planet Fitness in Fort Washington Md. They had an excellent choice of equipment

I live across the st. and this gym has been closed for 3 days now due to "plumbing issues" this is kind of ridiculous excuse. 95% of the folks that use the gym don't even use the bathroom and the gym was open for a year after covid with 0 water faucet. is there something going on with management here? did employees abruptly quit? time is $ - we need answers planet fitness

This planet fitness need a lot of remodeling. 1. The equipment is old 2. The lockers aren’t good 3. The staff has a smart mouth 4. The bathroom needs to be cleaned 5. No costumer service 6. It feels like a prehistoric gym These are just a few amongst all the rest.

Equipment was clean and readily available. Staff appears friendly and helpful.

The equipment needs to be updated badly. Maybe a add different machines as well. It’s just needs to be restructured. There are some machines that should not be duplicated. They should go more towards things that don’t have strings or different machines that I’ve seen in other PF that needs to be added in here. Staff are great trainers are great. Place is clean. If it wasn’t because of the equipment And the place meant of some of the machines I would’ve gave it four stars

This is an update from my original post. I am done with this location, something is always broken here and there seems to be no clear attempts to fix it. Also, people hog equipment and transport benches through out the gym. To make matters worse, this is not really a 24 hour gym being they open at 6am on the weekends. I'm going across the bridge, this location is for the birds, dueces.

Fort Washington PF is about 25 minutes away from my local PF gym. I chose to make Fort Washington PF my home gym because it is simply much better. The staff is always welcoming and very professional. All of the equipment is always operational and the gym is spacious enough for everyone is enjoy their workouts without stepping on top of anyone else. 10 out of 10 in my opinion. 👍🏽

This Fitness Center/Ft Washington, MD is only six blocks from my home. I'm a Black Card holder and the Customer Service is friendly and pleasant. This GYM have plenty of exercise equipment to choose from and YES they stay crowded with customers from different areas. The atmosphere 👌 even when Different Races come together ❤ to workout!😊

"judgement free zone" my foot. This place is the worst gym I have ever been to in my entire life; that is over 30 years of experience. The only impressive thing about this place, is to break a 30 year record. My sentiment is in line with some of the others I have read about recent experience. The plumbing issue annoyed and inconvenienced me, but nothing was worst than the staff and the manner they addressed concerns. You can barely find equipment in this gym to train, if it is not bolted to the ground. What makes it worst is the staff has no idea of the status of the gym floor until you say something to them. Complete disaster this place is.

I like working out here. COVID has slowed down my workout pace, but the gym has always been clean when I went and the machines are spaced out so you are not too close to another person. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I needed it. Weight area can get crowded depending on what time you get there

This gym has the basics for any light to medium workout routine. A couple of the machines are broken which are flagged for repair. The staff is very friendly and they maintain a good sanitary environment. For squats, deadlifts and the like, they only have Smith machines which get taken pretty quickly. They have benches for free weights up to 75lbs dumbells. Overall, it's good for the price.

Management is crazy uptight and enforces inconsequential rules, even in total disregard for customer privacy and health. While I was showering, the cleanup crew told me that I could not leave clothes in the handicap stall. He insisted that I removed my clothes left on the stall. I told him that I had planned to used the handicap stall but could not because the dispenser was broken. I could have moved the clothes into changing room but saw that he was cleaning the changing rooms. He had previously saw me taking off my shoes but didn't say a single word but after stepping out briefly returned and peaked into my shower stall. I told him that I would be done showering within five minutes, but he threw a fit and told me to talk with the manager at the front desk. Even as I was putting my clothes on, the day manager and the cleaning crew both unmasked cornered me and complained. Manager also insisted that both employees were not obligated to wear face covering, in total disregard for my health. I told the manager to wait for me at the front desk, but he refused and continued to berate me over an inconsequential rule, while I was changing in a small confined corner. No one uses the handicap shower, complete dry during noon hours, when gym is under-utilized.

Outstanding service, equipment, price open hours, clean and most of all always close to home

overall this location is pretty solid with a great staff as usual. However, would be nice to use the assisted dip/pull-up machine. I feel like it’s been broken for awhile now.

The staff members are professional and always available to assist if needed. They are constantly cleaning the equipment and floors. Everyone at this facility uses the sanitation station for the equipment and stays masked. It’s a friendly place to exercise even though you would rather be somewhere else.

The staff at this gym are professional, friendly and responsive. I have been to many locations and prefer this one by far. I highly recommend this one.

Wonderful. Every new Planet Fitness I go to takes me higher and higher. The Customer Service was amazing this morning and the clients really work out hard. Great experience on Indian Head Planet Fitness.

I’ve always had great access and good experience with this club, Maxine’s and workout equipment most of the time is in good shape and available to complete my workout plus the club is 5 mins from my home. Staff is always courteous and helpful when needed

Clean for the most part but floors and equipment very dusty. Clinton has a cleaner facility and better equipment/machines. Staff at Ft Washington very nice though.

It's a basic planet fitness, the gym has what you need for a good workout. I pay for the black membership and I think the black area is fine. I wish they would wipe up more frequently. The paper towels are extremely cheap and break when I pull them from the containers so I can wipe down the areas I use, which is slightly frustrating. I can tell sometimes no one goes after me to clean because it's the way I left it a day or two ago. I like the planet fitness app feature that shows you how full the gym is, but it doesn't always help to determine which area of the gym is full i.e. cardio machines or weights. I'm happy with the staff and parking here and it's a perfect location, right off the highway. *update-response to planet fitness response......NOT my job to talk to the staff.

I love how this gym is 24hrs and the app is super easy to use. Plenty of parking as well. I do wish they had a sauna

The Fort Washington, MD staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the gym is spotless, and it has a lot great exercise equipment and all of them work!

Really like the location and for the most part the facility is on point. Really nice staff who are very accommodating and the customers are pretty cool with each other. Good atmosphere to go and get your work in.

Clean gym. Nice amount of space. People are welcoming and positive. Can still find times where it's not too busy.

Love the staff and the atmosphere. The massage beds are AWESOME!

The club has all the equipment available. It is not overcrowded. The customers and staff are courteous.

I love this location. There’s plenty of room, usually not a lot of fellow members there when I workout in the morning. Plenty of space as well. The staff is great also

I'm very satisfied with my Black Card membership....I can exercise and get a massage at any location/anytime.

The staff at this location are always super friendly and attentive. Most if not all the equipment is working and when things are out of order they are usually fixed within 1-2weeks. Overall, this location is convenient and the customer service is awesome!

I camello to planet fitness and guy named luis helped with the whole significa up process. He was very helpful and nice. He should deserve a reward.

I tend to go in the early morning (before 7) and late at night (after midnight) to beat the crowd. I find all of the staff to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful and quite encouraging. By far my favorite PF to go to in the area.

This place have gone down hill ever since they changed the time they are always opening late having people wait around that’s insane 30-40 minutes late They just don’t care

Pros: - $10 a month - everything you need for a workout is here. Dumbells, cables, machines. Plenty of treadmills. - Friendly staff. - worth the cost by far! Cons: - Bring your own music, unless you like crass rap music - no free bar bench, but there are the assisted kind and they work fine. - no 5lb plates, so hope you like going up on your prs 20 lbs at a time.

Very friendly atmosphere, especially the people who work there. The equipment is great. I could use the bench press without being attached to the sides bar (they don’t have the attachment-free bench press), but besides that, it’s being a good experience.
