I have never been so humiliated in my life. I went with my wife at this place for the first time. I guess the bartender stereotypes that people of color don’t tip because I requested a Mojito drink which wasn’t well executed, it tasted like a mixture of club soda, lemon, water and rum. I guess the bartender assumed I wouldn’t know better. I was just curious about the price and she rolled her eyes. I shook it off because I really wanted to enjoy the live band. Next round I approached to a different bartender to order another drink so patiently waiting for her to finish attending other customer before me but the poor customer service with the bar staff apparently can’t be defeated as this other bartender; after having me waiting in line, she attended the person behind me that had just arrived. Thank goodness I had parents that showed me the meaning of manners and how to behave like a gentleman. I was very respectful and polite I did not give in motive to be treated this way.

Great spot to go to. Live music and entertainment. Friendly staff. Parking is crazy but if you're willing to drive around for a few you'll definitely find parking, there is always someone leaving. The food was pretty good, it was suggested to me by the server. I enjoyed this spot.

Came in for the jazz, decided to get drinks and dinner too. We chose entrees but were told that of the 7 entrees on the menu, only 1 (??) was being served that night. We decided to go with that one. 30 minutes later our waitress comes out to tell us that THAT entree is no longer being served either. Seriously? We then got tapas since by then we were super hungry. One was advertised as a "croquette" but was a simple meatball, the others were doused in salt. No chance I'll be back, but the jazz was nice.

A small space with limited seating. But this club is known for the featured bands, so dancing Salsa and Bachata is what you’re going to get! There is an upstairs which opens around 12 midnight and had a pretty good female DJ which I thought was excellent! She played reggeton and a mix of other music. There is an extension to the back where there is a decent sitting area for a less than noisy experience. Let’s talk about the crowd: a mix of young and mature, mostly young hipsters. I came across several rude patrons, who apparently the phrase excuse me is unknown. The bouncer in front is nice and the bartenders were ok. There was only one who seemed to know what she was doing. $10 cover charge for a subpar experience. The crowd is the reason for -2 stars. I’ve been to better Latin clubs.

Friday and Saturday nights here are a lively party. Been coming for years for the live music on the first floor + reggaeton club on the second floor. Local latino artists display their work here. My favorite spot on 18th street. Drinks are fine, too but the ambience is what I come back for.

This restaurant is located in a fun and lively area, in the heart of the Adams Morgan District. We ordered the Franguin and Camarão a baiana, both dishes were delicious and fueled us for a night of Latin dancing. At 10pm the tables are removed and the restaurant is turned into a dance floor featuring a live band. Highly recommend for a night of Salsa.

One of the best salsa dance spots in town. The dancing doesn’t get going until about 11pm but I like to arrive early and get a tasty mojito. The bands are always good - I’ve never been disappointed. Last time they were Cubans and the rhythm was amazing! Upstairs there’s a DJ spinning a range of top Latin hits. Super fun for a date or just going casually with friends. There IS a cover charge but I don’t mind supporting these fantastic musicians.

Great ambiance; excellent music. Must visit if you are looking for a fun night weekday or weekend while in DC. We plan to go again.

From a salsa perspective, there's just not enough room to dance with passion/sazón here. Absolutely appreciate the live music though, but if you're looking for a weekend dance spot and are low on options, this isn't the last place I'd go.

The service and food was incredible. We could not have had a better experience here. It is the best place for dinner in ADMO!

My favorite Salsa Club ever! The vibes are amazing. It has two levels where level one is usually pack with dancers and second floor has small parties dancing. The drinks are good and average price for DC.

We popped in for the late night live music and was not disappointed. There was a cover charge at the door. Dior Ashley Brown and The Filthy Animals were great.

Entrance fees are up to $10 now, cash only. The first floor it's live music and a dj on the second. Always great place to dance until 12:30-1am when it gets super crowded. Pero igual, recomiendo este lugar 💃.

Bossa is one of my favs places on weekends. If you want to eat something before getting in a Salsa live band party night or Latin rhythms night, definitely you must to stop by at Bossa. Their Brazilian menu food and cocktails are so good and the atmosphere is magnetic. You can eat delicious food, test and drinks cocktails and after during the rest of the night you can move your body and share your smile and good vibes while the Salsa and Latino music are playing! Don’t miss to visit Bossa Bistró & Lounge and get so much fun moments! Check it out the web page for their musical program! 😎

A great place for authentic Brasilian cuisine, excellent live music and dancing to Latin music salsa, bachatta, merengue, samba and more. Saturday nights are my favorite, but every night has something different and full experience to tantalize all your senses.

Place with great vibes, food is also tasty but the kitchen close at 10 pm. Different live artist every week, and amazing salsa bands on Fridays and Saturdays.

Fantastic performances and great selection of events to attend. It has strong attendance any night of the week with the great food being a huge plus to the bar scene. Love this place!

lovely. and so rare. Arabic music (the real thing; modern popular arab music mostly for a real Arab taste). i've been in the US over 20years and i'll say this is "very" rare. lovely jovial atmosphere.
