Awesome tour from beginning to the end! The responses I received when I was inquiring were instantaneous; very user friendly website and the Tour guide that we had, Bruce, was the best! He was very knowledgeable, amiable and helpful. I recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a hassle free private tour.

Our driver was Bruce. His knowledge of history was deep. He was able to answer the questions we asked. He took us to several memorials. We were able to fit off and spend time at some of the memorials. The vehicle was very comfortable. Bruce was very professional and courteous. I recommend Private DC Tours to anyone coming to DC. The night tour of the memorials is a must!!! I especially liked we had our own tour guide versus being part of a large group on a bus.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We were asked what we wanted to see. Care and consideration were used in planning our evening, to ensure was saw everything we wanted. It was a wonderful experience, and Bruce was an excellent guide (and driver). He provided so many stories and little details that enhanced the experience. We pretty much had 4 hours in DC before moving on to our next destination and none of us had ever been there. With museums still shut down from the pandemic, I thought, "how can we see everything we need to see historically that is outdoors before we leave in the morning...and make it entertaining for 2 teenage boys"? Insert DC Tours. Bruce was our tour guide and he was exactly who we needed! He texted us in advance to confirm our appointment and asked us to text him back when we were in the lobby. He showed up a few minutes early, gave us the rundown, and we hopped into an SUV. Bruce had his route and let us know that he was skipping past a few things until later because they are much better to see lit up at night. He was spot on with his logic! We saw it all - Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Capitol, White House...and he had stories and history to go with it. He grew up in the area, so he knew it well. We enjoyed getting to know a little about Bruce along the way, and he told us a few history side stories about that we never knew about - one about Lincoln's son even threw off our 13-year old Lincoln fan! I cannot say enough about Bruce and DC Tours...they made our DC night the greatest and we are all excited to come back to DC (for a bit longer next time). Thank you so much, Bruce!

Highly recommend this private tour if you are in the DC area. Bruce was a great tour guide, he even got out of the car and walked us up to majority of the historical sites and gave us very detailed information. He took us to a few places that were not on the list that turned out to be some of the best parts of the tour, especially the Pentagon and the Memorial area. The car was pristine and spacious. This company has the best prices in the area and the tour was well worth it!

Great service! I was at a meeting in DC on my own. Ehsan did a great job of maximizing the DC sites I saw, took pictures on me, helped me get to the front of the line and educated me on his iPad! I had such a great 4 hr tour by day that I book a nighttime experience with friends with him! It rained but we still had a great time! He had umbrellas and a light for best pictures! Our 80 yr old friend said he learned more about the capital of our nation than in school! Fun, safe, efficient, I’d use them and him again!

Very reasonably priced private tour, and great value for money. Our driver, Bruce, was a former American History teacher and he was able to tell us a lot about the places we visited. He was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. He customized the tour to show us the locations we were interested in. The car was immaculate and a great way to see Washington. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide Ehsan was knowledgeable and great. Tailored the tour to our time frame and what we wanted to see. Vehicle was nice and comfortable and complimentary water was a plus. This is a 10 Star review for Bruce and Private DC Tours as he gave us a unique and exceptional tour of DC Monuments at night. Watching others visiting Monuments on the same night getting off of buses or vans full of people showed to me how special it was for the five of us (Two grandparents, a daughter, and two grandchildren) to have a car just to our selves. To have Bruce as our guide design a tour tailored to our specific interests added great value. But to have Bruce share the history and perspective of each monument visited created memories for each of us that we will not forget.

Our tour guide, Bruce, shared lots of good information about DC, its history and of course all of the monuments. The vehicle was very comfortable and the tour was relaxed so we could enjoy the nighttime views of our nation’s capital without having to worry about traffic or parking. It was an enjoyable evening and money well spent.

Our tour was fantastic! The driver gave us little history lessons prior to each stop, he was accommodating, and planned our time well. He knew the best spots to take pictures of me and my partner and was prepared with lightening to make them look great. It was hands-down the best way to see DC in a short amount of time.

We had a private evening tour last weekend. Bruce was awesome and very enlightening. I enjoyed the conversations and learning things I hadn’t known before. Among the Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and a few other places, we were taken to the Pentagon 9-11 Memorial and that was truly very special. A private tour feels so much more personal. Ehsan gave us a wonderful Night tour. This was a gift for my husband’s upcoming birthday so there was a higher level of expectation especially since we were just 2 of us. He was friendly and kind from pickup throughout the tour. He took us to a couple sites I had not thought of which were wonderful add ons to the tour. Very knowledgeable and even had a screen to point out unique points. It was such a treat to have our own guide who also was a very safe driver and in a very clean suv. We even had cold water! It was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this company for a private tour. It is worth every penny! My family and I had a wonderful evening tour with Bruce. He had great communication before the tour and let me know when he was arriving. Bruce is knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts about various monuments and memorials. We were able to customize what we wanted to see and spent as much time as we wanted at each stop. We were in a comfortable, large, clean SUV and got close to all the stops with minimal walking. Bruce was a great driver and we felt safe the entire time. Don’t book with a large tour bus company, get a private tour through Private DC tours instead. You will be glad you did!

We had a private tour with Eshan as our guide. It was such a wonderful tour, a highlight of our trip. Our party included myself (age 46), my husband (age 49), my mother (age 73) and our daughter (age 19) and son (age 18). We chose the moonlight tour which lasted from 7-10pm. Eshan picked us up at our Airbnb and the vehicle was very nice and clean. Eshan was extremely friendly and made us feel so comfortable and by the end of the night it felt like he was a longtime friend. He was very knowledgeable about all the DC history and each location he took us to. He took wonderful pictures which were so much better then the ones my camera took so I was so thankful. He was patient with us and kept us on a good pace. He took us to the Jefferson Memorial, Air Force Memorial, Pentagon, Arlington cemetery, the fountain, Washington monument/tidal basin, the capital , library of Congress and even though it was close to our end time he knew we really wanted to see the Lincoln memorial and he went above and beyond to take us there as well. He was so amazing with us. Our kids and mom truly enjoyed our tour as well. I have a health condition where I have hard time with heat and long periods walking, by taking the night tour and with Eshan driving us to each monument was the only way I was able to see as much as we did. We are so thankful and recommend him to anyone interested in truly seeing DC without all the big tours and crowds. It was so personal and less stressful. Their cost was so reasonable compared to other private tours and quality of the tour was top notch. Also, our son left his AirPod case in the vehicle and Eshan was kind enough to bring it the next night to our Airbnb home. Again great service above the rest ! Thank you Eshan for wonderful memories my family will never forget.

After starting our tour with Ehsan in the morning we quickly knew that we made the right decision on a tour company. Having never been to DC we were unsure what to do and in what order. Ehsan helped us layout a plan to be able to see EVERYTHING! He was extremely knowledgeable on all of the history and his presentations while we were drive to each of the sites allowed us to learn without taking up time once we got to the site. We had such a great time that we also booked a tour with him at night to experience all of the monuments and sites for an even more picturesque photo opportunity. We would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to see the sites with a history filled tour look no further, we can’t wait to come back and take another tour with Ehsan and his staff.

Bruce did a terrific job of navigating around DC on a Saturday during the cherry blossom festival with all the traffic and crowds! He shared stories of history with my family in the middle of intense traffic. He was cool under pressure and made it a very pleasant experience. He showed us a lot in a small amount of time! My family has lived in the area for over 30 years and Bruce had plenty to teach and remind us. We reminisced about how much the city has changed, sharing stories and laughter. We would love to tour with him again. Highly recommend!

Esaan was our tour guide and he was fantastiiiiic! He has so much knowledge of the area, he had pictures and videos that he would show about the next monument or memorial we were on our way to. We got right up and close to each one. I only expected to see a few things. He went above and beyond. He took us to sooo many more places than I expected. He knows the route very well! We spent 10 to 20 minutes at each location depending on the memorial/monument. The vehicle was spacious. We had 2 adults and 3 children. Thank you so much for a great experience!! We appreciate you!
