If you're up for a bit of a drive, you've got to check out Yearby’s Barbecue & Waterice. This halal spot serves up some seriously amazing brisket, and it's all made with care and attention to detail. You gotta try it with their warm brioche buns - so good! And don't forget about their mac and cheese and corn - they're the perfect sides to go with the brisket. I drove for an hour to get here, but it was absolutely worth it. The food is just that good. On top of the delicious eats, the staff is super friendly and really goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. So if you're looking for some killer halal brisket, definitely check them out. You won't regret it!

Family run business. The food is terrific, we got the brisket sandwich, brisket mac & cheese and wadderice. They are friendly and have an outdoor setting with tables and benches next to the lively little downtown. Indoor seating will be open in November. Food is fantastic and worth the travel.

It was totally worth the 50min drive to pilot point for this BBQ. The brisket was well marbled and melted in your mouth. No need for any sauce. Then came the ribs. Yummy...fall off the bone soft and tender rib meat. Kids loved the brisket Mac and cheese and loaded nachos. And in this Texas heat, the water ice were is a must. If you think they are going to taste like shaved ice, you are mistaken. More of a sorbet texture. We will definitely plan on going back soon.

I mean what can I say. This was the best American BBQ I’ve had period. The owners are awesome and really nice. The food speaks for itself. You can taste the love. We got sliced brisket, smoked chicken, potato salad, and coleslaw. Let me tell you this all the food was amazing. The seasoning is on point. So juicy and tender meats I cannot explain. The best part about it all is that it is HALAL. I’m so glad that this place exists. It is now my favorite spot for American BBQ. P.S. I would have posted pictures but we ate everything before I realized I should’ve. Next time I’ll try! No promises though

Sliced Brisket: 10/10; $16 per half pound Out of all the brisket I’ve had, Yearby’s brisket is the best. The seasonings and meat quality is what really set the stage for me, the meat truly melts in your mouth, and it was absolutely delicious. Half Chicken: 8/10; $13 each The chicken was seasoned very well, usually smoked chicken tends to be bland but that wasn’t the case here. It was a little dry but adding their house-made BBQ sauce helps add moisture and extra tangy flavor. Smoked Meatloaf: 10/10; $13 The meatloaf was the wildcard for me, I knew it would either be a hit or miss but it was definitely a homerun. Incredibly flavorful and moist, I just wished I could’ve gotten a bigger portion. I would come back just for the meatloaf. Smokin Mac and Cheese: 8/10; $5 for 8oz The mac and cheese was tasty, I didn’t really taste an additional smokiness, but it was creamy and wasn’t heavy at all. Brisket Mac and Cheese: 10/10; $15 This was the winner. This is the side you want. The tender brisket, plus the BBQ sauce, and the creamy mac and cheese. You will forget all your problems and will be on cloud 9. My only complaint is that the serving size was too small, I would pay extra for a larger size. Potato Salad: 8/10; $5 for 8oz The potato salad had great flavor and the acidity was a good side to pair with the fatty and rich meat. It’s the perfect pairing for any BBQ. Yearby’s Street Corn: 9/10; $5 for 8oz I feel like this was a good twist on the type of elote you get when visiting your local Mexican grocery store. The corn was savory and had a lot of flavors, I also loved the generous amount of cotija cheese used. Watermelon Waterice: 10/10; $5 I’ve never had Waterice before, I assumed it was going to be a snow cone with the same texture of ice as Bahama Bucks, but I was wrong. It was like ice cream but without the dairy, I later looked up the process and it’s made just like how ice cream would be made just dairy free. It was creamy and not too sweet. It was a good treat for a hot summer day and a nice substitute for ice cream. BBQ Sauce: 10/10; Complimentary I love BBQ sauce, I eat it with pizza, fries, and more. The house-made BBQ was sweet and tangy, it paired well with all the food we ordered.

Brisket was awesome!! Such nice folks!! We will be back. Best BBQ we’ve had in this area! I’ll be glad when they move into their new digs! Please consider broccoli salad; if it tastes anything like your coconut water ice or BBQ, you will be a huge hit!!!

I am a Texas BBQ snob! This place is AMAZING! The Mac n Cheese and Mexican street corn are 10/10 and the Brisket is 15/10! The owners are so friendly. For those of you not local to Pilot Point it’s WORTH THE DRIVE!

Don't walk, run. I came all the way from London and been looking for a halal place to try bbq brisket. The place is run by lovely and friendly people. Prices are very good. I would love to come back again!
