Lunchtime specials on Thursday is fajitas and Friday is Flautas…they are both so delicious! Chips are crispy and salsa has just the right amount of kick to it. Owner is super friendly. Service has been wonderful each time that Emily has been my server. Even when she was the only one and a room full of people, she stayed on top of everything.

Love, love, love this little hot spot! Who knew that such a fun restaurant existed in Lake Dallas. The margaritas are phenom and the chips and salsa legit. When I walked in the door, 3 regulars all said hello and welcomed me in. So refreshing! The atmosphere was a serious party with karaoke, laughs and great chips and salsa. The owner sat with me at the bar and explained that she and her husband and their best friends bought this sweet little restaurant. It’s less TexMex and more authentic Mexican. The restaurant is adjacent to a church, so you can stop off and pray after having a few Margie’s. So much fun! We are the beef tacos (Taco Tuesday special) and a veggie taco salad. Both were great. I will definitely be back and encourage you to try it too.

Just visited for the first time and it became an instant new fave!!! The service, food, and laid back atmosphere are all incredible. The menu is very extensive and offers plenty of homemade, authentic choices for everyone. Lacy, our server, was one of the warmest and most genuine people we've ever encountered. Highly recommend, we can’t wait to return ASAP!

The food dose not have a lot of flavor, and the salsa is not very spicy. Queso is a little to runny . The people are nice and the place is fun . But they do need to work on the flavor and quality of the food

This is such a hidden treasure. the food is absolutely delicious and the service is out of this world. the salsa is so good and so cold and so fresh. I highly recommend ordering the asada fries with onion rings instead of fries. INCREDIBLE! I really get around when it comes to Mexican food 😂 and this place is at the top of my list. I've been 4 times in the last week. lol. Just go, you'll not regret it.

It would be 5 stars but the service is a little slow. But I still go back every Monday for their enchilada special. Freaking amazing salsa. Update....still the best salsa on the planet and the service was excellent

Such a wonderful real Mexican restaurant. Everyone was so nice and the food was just what we wanted.

There's a sign when you walk in "we are shorthanded please bare with us" What I really liked is that all of the employees that were there were checking on all of the the customer's dining. We had a person stop by and check our drinks and then a different person offering a hot sauce refill and the owner coming by from time to time making sure we were comfortable. The service was actually outstanding.

This is the 2nd time we have been there since the new owners. And I'm sad to say we won't be back. Seat yourself doesn't work. We sat there this time for 20 mins and never ever got acknowledged. Piss poor service....Makes me sad since I knew the previous family who owned this. They would be so disappointed.

Looking for homemade, crunchy tacos like in So-Cal? Meat, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese? NOT birria…this IS the place!!! We have searched for 2 years and found this hidden Lake Dallas gem! Great atmosphere to watch a ball game or sit in the patio. Delicious!!!

Absolutely Delicious! Staff was amazing and very sweet. Our waiter Cain was outstanding and very attentive. The food was hot and fresh, and meats were tender. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Thank you Chilitos for a delicious peaceful meal. We will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem in Lake Dallas TX. The food is always good no matter what you order. Margaritas are delicious. Has friendly home town feel.

Had breakfast and it was delicious and fairly priced. The cook was amazing as well brought out breakfast potatoes for sit to try. Thank you for a great meal and amazing service.

Update: Chilitos is under new management, and I am impressed! The new owner really breathed some life into the place! The food is good, well priced, and served in large portions! If you haven't been in a while, stop in and give it a try.

Great service and excellent food. Bartender was "hours" new and didn't skip a beat! Everyone made us feel at home. Sorry I ate the food so fast I forgot pics. 🫣

Been eating at this family's restaurants for more then 30 years, in California and here in Texas. Always great food, although for a couple years it was hit and miss. But Geno is back, and it was excellent tonight. Got the Fajita Dinner plate, with abondigas soup (TASTY), and the bar is pretty good too. Yeah, I started eating before the photos, fajita sizzle calling to me!!

Went here in ‘15 shorty after we moved here. Weren’t impressed. Went again today…still not impressed. Don’t waste your time or money here when you can drive 5 min to Angelina’s or 10 min to Chuys or OTB. Or Silva’s across the street. Seriously, SO many better options out there. It’s a hard pass from now on.

We love eating at Chiltos! The last couple times we came in, it took the server 15 minutes to come and offer us water. The server once we got one was great! The food is delicious. I tried the Chicken fajita nachos for the first time and they are delicious. We will be back and I will continue to recommend this place!!

This is one of our favorite. Never try this before , this is really cool Foods are delicious, Manager , staffs were so great. Will definitely coming back for the Mini Beer Shots
