    We have recently moved to Madryn Surgery - because of the ‘couldn’t care less’ arrogance of our previous local practice. The difference is heartwarming. Friendly, helpful receptionist staff and excellent medical practitioners. I wish we’d made the change years ago - best decision we’ve made.

    I have recently moved both me and my son over to Madryn house surgery after continuously receiving poor healthcare from another local doctors. Since joining Madryn house all I can say is the service we have both received is greatly appreciated. The receptionists are approachable and help in anyway they can. Each time me and my son have had an appointment we have received it on the same day, we have been welcomed and seen by a nurse called Jess. Jess really has been so accommodating each time and couldn’t help enough, such a lovely lady. I would just like to say a big thank you for all of your service so far. It is nice to know that the support needed is still available.

    This surgery is always professional no matter how busy they are. In 34 years I have never had any issues. The reception staff are super helpful and polite. It's great that you can see one of several lovely, polite and proffessional nurses for things you don't need to see the GP for, and the triage system works well for this. The GP's are outstanding, I've never felt rushed. They are genuinely kind, concerned and put you at ease. The best thing is that Mike doesn't hurt when he takes your blood!

    Always lovely meeting with the nurses, receptionists and doctors. Been a hard few weeks with spinal spasms but they've gone above and beyond to take care of me. An amazing practice through and through. Very thorough out their jobs too remember who they speak to despite the many that come by a credit to the practice :) - thank you again

    I'm new back into this surgery after moving away for about 15 years. Having returned back recently, it's still just as good as ever. I'm really pleased to be back here. I'm sure they'll be issues along the way, but the team are really friendly & and approachable, and I'm already confident they will resolve any issue as quickly & professionally as possible

    The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful I called the surgery twice in 2 days and receive different information from different receptionists. The first seemed to think I was deficient in the brain cells and kept shouting ".alright? " at me.. The following morning I spent an hour on hold to make an appointment as advised by her to be told I didn't need one just self certify on gov site then call into surgery to complete fig note request form. I did and when I asked which dates to fill in neither receptionist seemed to know for sure. Definitely a lack of consistent basic job training.

    Reception staff and the nurse on duty went out of their way to help me just before the surgery was due to close. I attended the surgery with breathing difficulties and the trained reception staff were able to identify the urgency of me being seen. The nurse on duty was very helpful and made sure I had the necessary treatment before the surgery closed for the day. The staff at this surgery continue to go above and beyond every day to provide outstanding health care for their patients.

    I had to move from. My other surgery because for over 4 yrs I could not get an appointment and I knew there was a health issue. I registered to Madryn house and was seen the the same evening and yes I was right I have a couple of minor issues that are now being dealt with. I have made a couple of phone calls and visits and the staff especially Mike and Lisa that have explained my queries so quickly and empathetically causing me to have less stress. DR Roberts also viewed blood results and called me promptly with details for me to follow. I can bot thank staff at madryn house enough for making me feel important and listen to me . ❤️
