Likes the two racquetball / handball courts. You play oriented (looking) North. My only complaint, and a 4-star review, is that the top of both racquetball courts are not covered, so you cannot unleash, lest you knock a ball over Adams Avenue. And I like to so unleash. Ricolah! Ricolah! (Oooooh, nice acoustics, too when deep in them bunker ball courts!) Ricolah! Yet in the prior racquetball / handball court location, should you unleash, you'll knock a ball into the parking lot or into the duck pond, to the chagrin of the duckie-wuckies! And them duckie-wuckies could get indignant! Thank you perfect Kirkwood Kirkwood Park! Love you, Kirkwood.

There are about 8 courts available. I never have an issue finding a court to pay on.

It is late in the outdoors tennis season, but the weather today (11/6/21) was so great that we decided to play. Kirkwood Park has eight beautiful tennis courts in perfect condition. All of them are marked for shared use with pickleball, with two pickleball courts in each tennis court. Tennis lines are white and pickleball lines are blue. The pickleball nets are on wheels so they can be moved out of the way when not in use. I only saw four pickleball nets, but no one was playing pickleball anyways. Having additional lines in the tennis court may sound confusing at first, but we didn’t have any problem and enjoyed our tennis practice. So come out and play!

Nice courts except it’s always packed and now they charge if you’re a non resident. I get it but kinda annoying.

Actually got in some hb practice on one handball court while another highly devoted youngster employed the wall for his tennis skills...... .. on a Friday night!
