A wonderland of a by gone era. And it just gets better every year. Thus the pest personnal train layout in the St. louis area. Better even than the layout they used to have down at Union Station 35 or so years ago.

My family and I love Dan's Emerald Forest at Christmas time. The entire neighborhood does a great job decorating making this stop necessary for a family fun Christmas light tour. May the Lord bless them all for their generosity and kindness.

Best display of a train set ever. I use to take my grandsons when they were little 15 years ago. Now they take their girlfriend to see it. Made good impression on young boys.

A lot of creativity and work into this train display by Dan Schmidt. A must see!

Looks really cool so far. It will all be going starting tomorrow night. We just took a drive to see it, but was a day early. Most of the neighbors have decorated too. One even has a set up for National Lampoons with movie and all. Well worth it to go.

Dan makes Christmas decorations wonderful. Kids and adults alike get joy from his old-timey exhibit. Best in the whole city. Trains and drive-in theaters and rivers and much more. Santa talks to children and hands out hot chocolate by a big barrel fire. Talk about dedication.
