Walked in with a 630 reservation. Sat at the bar until 728 waiting for a table. Finally made it back to the table and sat another 30 minutes before the chef arrived. No refills on drinks, and we didn't get our soup and salad before like the rest of the tables around us. Our waiter forgot us. The chef was fun, and the food was delicious, but I would not go back.

Tyson was one of the best chefs we’ve ever had, if not the best ever. Our food was prepared perfectly, starting with the fried rice and continuing on with the vegetables and noodles, and then the shrimp, salmon, and steak were all cooked flawlessly. Absolutely delicious. On top of this, Tyson was extremely skilled, and he was hugely entertaining. Our entire experience was lively and fun. Totally worthwhile. A five-star experience from beginning to end. I can hardly wait to go back.

We had a reservation for 6:30 and we were not able to be seated until 7:00. We waited at the bar until another party showed up to fill up the table since we only had 4 in our party. We enjoyed cocktails while we waited. We were offered a milkshake and an appetizer on the house since we waited a little longer. This was greatly appreciated. They were very busy but the staff did their best to accommodate and make us happy! Our chef was so funny and cooked everything perfectly. We enjoyed the food and the experience. Thank you for the special night.

My friend and I would come here almost weekly, for years, and it was great! Awesome staff, even better food and their wait time from waiting area to food in your mouth was always efficient. Lately, the last few visits have not been as pleasant. The staff has a more nonchalant attitude and we’ve encountered a few who are just flat out rude. The wait times have increased and I’ve never sat at a table for so long without being offered a drink. I’m not sure if the management has changed or what, but it is not the same. However, the food is always delicious and spot on for what I request!!

Oh my what an amazing night to celebrate my sons 40 birthday. The entire staff was fun, respectful, and entertaining. Love the new location on the lower level, but miss the elevator ride up. LOL. Thank you for making our celebration πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ fun.

A fantastic experience with an amazing staff from the host to the server to the hibachi chef. We started with the calamari ($9) which having ordered this over the last 16+ years at various establishments in various cities, I hate to say this was slightly overcooked and underwhelming for the start of the meal and therefore I don't recommend ordering it. My wife and I ordered the Shogun Dinner (for 2 which comes with 2 filet mignon, 2 lobster tails, and your choice of either shrimp or scallops) which for $78 + the salad (w/ either ranch or house ginger dressing), veggies, fried rice (+$3), mushrooms, and shrimp (toss and catch), plus the entertainment of your hibachi chef was worth every cent. I also had the Strawberry Smoothie (+$5) which while quaint in its size was delicious. I would definitely recommend going with a group as it will be quite the experience for everyone with a ton of laughs and a full stomach.

Our family went there to celebrate my stepdaughter's birthday. It was quite an experience. The food was cooked in the Japanese style of course, and there was plenty of it. MJ and I had egg rolls for appetizers. Everyone got a salad and broth as part of the dinner. The entrees were plentiful and delicious. My lady and I had steak and chicken. Quite good. The unique experience was having our food prepared on front of all of us. The cook didn't just cook, he put on a humorous performance. His was witty and entertaining. He played music with the cooking utensils and the steel cutting service. He was worth the show. He was a good cook too. We all had a great time and plan to go there again.

We went to Kobe restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I highly recommend doing reservations beforehand. We enjoyed cocktails while we waited. The server was attentive and explained the menu. The main course came with complimentary soup and salad. The soup is made out of meat stock, so being vegetarian, i could not enjoy it. The ginger salad dressing was wonderful. The chef made the experience enjoyable. The portions are large and we enjoyed our visit to Kobe. Be prepared to come on an empty stomach!!

Kobe's is always an enjoyable experience. Our server and chef were both very interactive and accommodating. Our party enjoyed the environment and the food. I had the salmon and shrimp w/noodles, but was able to try almost all the items because it so much food!

It was my birthday, I had never been to Kobes but I heard so much about it, therefore, I wanted to dine here for dinner. My friends and I had a great time. This is a restaurant were they seat you and another group around a big table to cook and eat together. Therefore, make sure that you are feeling the vibes of whoever you are sitting with. We had a group of 4, they seated us along side of another group of 4 people. Not only was someone in their group celebrating a birthday, we clicked immediately! Our cook had an awesome personality, we ate good , and celebrated all evening like one big family πŸ‘ͺ! It was fantastic! Kobes Steakhouse thanks for the hospitality! See you next time!

Our experience at Kobe Steakhouse was absolutely horrendous. Our party made a reservation for 7:30pm and we did not get to sit until 9:30pm. We were then rushed out of the restaurant before we were fully able to finish our meal. The manager never explained the no reservation policy they had. We made our reservation three weeks in advance and arrived an hour early for our reservation. The manager let other diners who were walk ins sit and eat before all of us as we waited patiently in the lobby for over two and half hours. The waiters only checked on us once during the meal and made jokes and crude remarks to rush us out after bringing boxes and checks immediately after the chef finished cooking- leaving us no time to finish our food. This reservation was for a very special occasion and the service we experienced was extremely heartbreaking. The manager was nonchalant, apathetic, and unapologetic about his mistake the entire time and did not offer any solace while our party was there. He continued to make excuses as to why our party could not sit as walk in diners poured in and were directed to their tables swiftly. The manager/management at Kobe Steakhouse and other staff were very inhospitable and treated us very poorly. The restaurant closes at 8:30pm and we did not leave until 11pm after being rushed out. We tried not to let this ruin our celebration- as it was a very special night, however it certainly put a damper on the mood. I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you are expecting swift and kind service. It was a terrible experience. For the respect and patience our party showed, the crudeness, disrespect, and apathy shown toward our party was not deserved. I wish I could have spent my hard earned money somewhere else.

We had an excellent time, highly recommend from the whole family. I think ita a staple in St.Louis. Thank you for your continued excellence in service and food quality from protein to seafood. I promise you won't be disappointed. And remember when ordering drinks, you only need sake, I promise you. Thank you again for making my Sister send off special.

A delicious and entertaining dining experience. It was my 9 year old granddaughters birthday. We shared our table with a mother grandmother (Nana), and two well behaved children. The food was well prepared in front of us, cooked to our preferences. The food was delicious and portions generous. Lots of laughs and cheering.

Had an awesome time for my sisters 23rd birthday! The chef Ricky was hilarious and very laid back. The food was delicious and the drinks were, too, especially if you like them heavy on booze. It was a little hard to hear anybody, but still entertaining nonetheless.

We can for lunch, something new for them from what I hear. There was no one else there. Quite a few folks coming in for pick up orders though. I thought it was very reasonable and the food very good. Came out hot and fresh. The lobster Rangoon was very good, I recommend. I had the lunch combo with chicken and scallops. Seasoned well and I needed a box to take back to my hotel. I’d come back for sure.

Here is the deal! The fool was outstanding, The presestations and how the food was delivered to you were above anything you could expect. The host was friendly, kind, and made you feel welcomed. This restaurant is kind of pricey. Just keep that in mind when you decide to come out to fine dining. There is a garage that you can park in to protect your car from the elements.

Kobe was a great experience for hibachi grill. The staff and management were great! Thanks for making our celebration a memorable one. Teriyaki chicken with fried rice and vegetables was very tasty.

It was uncomfortably loud. We had to scream to talk. I hate that. The food was just average. We did have an enjoyable time but it could have been so much better.

Enjoyed my first experience here. Our chef was very funny and my niece really loved the food and trying to catch the shrimp. She told me it was the best day ever lol coming from a seven year old that meant a lot to me.

My son loves coming here. He’s definitely my broke best friend for sure! Great experience, all around πŸ€— I always get salmon and chicken. It comes with salad, onion soup, veggies and noodles. πŸ‘©πŸΎβ€πŸ³ πŸ’‹ I did try the lobster Rangoon. I didn’t like it. Where was the lobster?! 🫣 hiding I guess. πŸ˜†

Enjoyed our time here because the staff is amazing. Our chef was hilarious and very entertaining. He did everything right. Our waitress was friendly and went above and beyond to help when one of the littles got nervous of the fire (part of the show). The food, meh. Too much ginger dressing on the salad (see pic). Rice was okay but would be better as traditional fried rice. Noodles were extremely bland. I got surf n turf, which was weird because everyone at the table has the same amount of shrimp, even those who didnt order it. The steak was okay. Small amount, not much seasoning. Not the chef's fault because the company tells them how to do it. Overall it was okay. I wouldn't eat takeout. The experience was better than the food.

Had a good experience overall at Kobe Steakhouse. Came in early for our reservation and the staff were able to seat us in about 20 minutes after being given a buzzer. Although, it did take around 40 minutes for the chef to arrive to start cooking our main dishes. The chef definitely liked to throw food our way and put on a show. There is definitely room for Kobe’s to enhance their hygiene and cleaning procedures from my observations. The waiters/waitresses could also come to check up on guests, including refilling their beverages more often as well. Still a good experience overall though with Kobe Steakhouse.
