Great location, and nice size hotel, not massive but not a little local place. Beach front, all rooms have a sea view, some also of the pool. An adults recommended hotel, but we took our 4 year old boy, he loved it and also the staff loved him! Generally the hotel is aimed at the mature guest, including the entertainment in the evening. We just did B&B, which was great for us, so many places to eat and drink locally. A few negatives, the kettle smelt of burnt toast when used, the shower head would be great but so many rubber spray nozzles missing didn't give the rainfall effect, more like a bucket effect! And although soundproofing has been attempted, the evening entertainment is heard throughout the rooms as its in the central atrium which the rooms come off. However, the panoramic lifts here offer great views, especially from the top floor! Overall happy with what we paid, the service we received, and would return.

Lovely location, and view of seafront. Excellent base to explore surrounding areas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom, with balcony with sea view. However rooms are very 'tired', and dated. Electrics old and not secured. Toilet and bidet situated at very odd angle (no idea why, plenty of space). Issues with TV not working intermittently. Food was reasonable, but not 'exciting', particularly with vegetarian in our group. On the whole decent enough, but could do with refurbishment.

This hotel had everything you could ask for to allow you to have a peaceful relaxing time with the options of enjoying some fantastic entertainment in the lounge or a game of pool or sitting reading in one of the many areas of the hotel. With all the amenities the resort had to offer on the doorstep .

Excellent, very clean and good sized rooms and the location is excellent right opposite the beach and promenade however I think a great deal has changed in the last couple of years for this hotel. The entertainment is very "samey",nothing like the TUI team entertainment of the past. The food selection wasn't the best, we heard of many complaints regarding the food, additionally some the restaurant staff are quite rude and unhelpful. A word of warning the tiles around the pool are very slippery when wet. We were aware of a couple of bad falls, please take care.

Nice hotel in Central location. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and dinner selection. Needs additional coffee machines in the dining room. Queues for a coffee or tea at breakfast. Lifts are a nightmare.... Would suggest a sunbed booking system for the pool side. Need to be down by 8:45 to secure a sunbed.

Good location is close to the beach and also not far from city, so you can always eat nice dinner in city. Hotel is clean and housekeeper cleanning it daily. We had nice cocktails of the day with good price. There is also nice concerts in the evening with singers. Breakfast was very delicious and many things to choose, also lady who can make omlet for you with vegetables you pick. And no kids, very enjoyed my staying .

Definitely not a 4 star hotel! Well, it maybe was 30 years ago but it's definitely needing a refurb! The food is decent and our mattress was firm. That's the only positives I can think of. Be prepared to set an alarm & queue to guarantee a sunbed! And watch out for the bare electrical wires sticking out from the sunbed area (see photo) Some staff are pleasant, but others are quite rude & abrupt. The main issue we had was our room had faulty Air conditioning (barely a trickle of air from the vent but not cold at all) & when I first reported it I was told it was working fine. After a few nights trying to sleep in very uncomfortable conditions, I spoke to a few other guests who said their air con was actually nice & cool at night. That's when I knew ours was faulty. Eventually, after complaining again about it, we were moved to another room but incredibly the air con was faulty in this room too!! Off we go to the reception again, where they found us a 3rd room where the air con actually worked! Then we were told we can only stay in this room for 1 night & need to move AGAIN. They did move us to an upgraded room but the fact that we spent 5 nights out of 7 in a room with faulty air con & being told it is working fine is not good enough! I complained to holiday company who have since received a reply from the hotel, denying some of the things I mentioned above, basically just trying to cover their tracks. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Hotel overall was ok had better .rooms were dated and dusty . Entertainment was average one singer Dave Parker was awful in my opinion . He was rude in his remarks due to a lot of guests being elderly .one remark being let's see if l can stir you .He should look at himself he was so boring with no character . So no wonder guests nearly asleep. No l would prob not go to this hotel .love the area though .

Just got home from a 2 week holiday at this hotel. Lovely staff, everyone very helpful. Rooms have a Spanish feel and are very clean. Sheets changed on the beds regularly, safe in the bedroom free of charge. A bottle of water was provided on arrival. We hired the fridge €10 a week as we enjoy a beer on the balcony. View from balcony stunning, we had a room on the sunny side of the hotel. The pool is heated and the whole area very clean. No problem getting a sun bed. Evening entertainment we found not always to our taste but you can't please everyone. Food was good, always plenty of variety and frequently replaced. The chef knows how to cook fish! I would like to thank everyone involved for helping to make our holiday very enjoyable, we will certainly be back.

I gave 5 stars because I didn't want to undermine the positives of this hotel, I have been about 4/5 times in the past, I had not been since the covid breakout. I have just come back from a weeks hol, due to this I could now see how dated the rooms are and how bland the restaurant is looking, it needs to look more vibrant and inviting but as everything in life there is a cost etc, the position of this hotel is ideal, it's on the beach front, every room has a good sea view, the pool is a good size ' I even went in this time' even though weather was overcast. jacuzzi not working but could be the time of year, 'believe me there wasn't many sunbathing' the hot tub and sauna was working in the gym which I love using when visiting, beds very comfortable, spacious shower room, English channels on the telly, the staff were all pleasent and welcoming, cleaning staff always had a smile, about 5/10 mins walk to train stop that takes you to malaga or other resorts on route, very good access, the happy hours 7 to 9pm is good value in the lounge room, I had several nights in watching the turns, I was only dispointed that I had just missed the elvis act as other guests had said he was very good, so the positives are why I will certainly go again.

Top top hotel with great staff and fantastic entertainment team !! WARNING ⚠️!! Please be aware of rude reception team on day of checkout - accused me of not paying for a fridge loan (was paid on day of arrival) and drinks charged to my room that were never ever ordered ?? So sad as it tarnished what was a brilliant week in the sun, but I don’t do standing trial at the end of any holiday period. Oh bye the way the adults only hotel does have children (Spanish children obviously) 🙄

Just returned from our first visit to the Yaramar hotel and we had a wonderful stay. The reception staff and restaurant staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was very varied and delicious, but some nuts and seeds at breakfast for the cereals would have been a welcome addition, also some garlic dishes at dinner. We spoke with other guests, many who had stayed numerous times, which is always a good recommendation and we wouldn't hesitate to give that recommendation to our friends. Just a couple of suggestions. A pull out rail on the bedroom balcony to dry washing would have been helpful (although there is a line in the bathroom shower area) and the glass in the bathroom door meant once the light was switched on during sleeping hours it woke up the other guest. Apart from that it was near perfect, so all who looked after us should be very proud as should the Management of their staff. Thank you everyone for a great holiday. We hope to return. Went in for a drink as we were staying at the angela, got the happy hour offer because of this very impressive lounge area showing the whole inside if the hotel as you looked up.

I have stayed at about 10 different hotels in the Fuengirola area over the past 6 years with work and for leisure, and the Yaramar is the best by quite a way. Very friendly staff, excellent food, comfortable rooms with fantastic showers, and even in winter "happy hour" and entertainment. Excellent.

Great place to stay and situated across the road from the beach. Good variety of meals. Staff really friendly. Tui reps and hotel entertainment were fantastic. Would definitely recommend the little snack bar next to the hotel , nice smoothies and lagers.

Great hotel, with very kind staf. Fantastic breakfast buffet, and lovely seating on the first floor. Unfortunately not enough parking inside, and street parking is to be paid and maximum 3h.

On arrival at the hotel, we were offered assistance with our bags by a very polite member of staff. Check in was quick and the times and locations of facilities was given to us. Our room had a small balcony with a couple of chairs with a table and a very nice sea view. There was a small fridge in the room which was handy to chill out drinks. The buffet breakfast and dinner was well presented with lots of varieties. For Dinner, you had to order drinks including water with your meals which let this place down a bit as water should be part of the meal considering there were 3 types of juices available in the morning with hot beverages at no extra cost. The pool was very busy throughout our stay so we did not use it. The lobby was quite warm so not comfortable to sit in for a long period of time and the lifts maybe due to the lighting inside, however the room had air-conditioning which was great. All the staff here were helpful, especially the dining room staff, the lady who cleaned our room and Jane the TUI Rep. All in all, we had a great time.

I've just got back from this hotel had a lovely stay but had some issues ,the lady that cleaned our room was really nice . Catering staff in my opinion were miserable I brought my own water bottle down at dinner and was told am not allowed as it come from the street, which it fact was from the hotel but put in my bottle. I did complain as this the first hotel that I've been to that does not provide water free , they said they would look into it am home now and they didn't . I asked for ice and was refused as they said I can only have some if I buy a drink. The jacuzzi next to sauna did not work during the whole of my holiday. I shall not be returning.

Booked an extremely last minute holiday (booked at 4pm, flight at 7:40pm). And we were not disappointed! We never usually book airport transfer as we know they’ll always be a taxi at the rank but if anyone was needing to know, the taxi ride there took 25 minutes and cost about €49 (I think because the drivers litterally started the rank at the airport) and the hotel booked us a taxi there and then for the way back (3am) to the airport and it arrived within 5 minutes and cost €39 (stopped the rank as we got to the airport to find parking). We booked a 5 night stay and arrived at the hotel at midnight. We were greeted by a friendly member of reception who asked if we’d like to have some ‘cold plate’ food if we were hungry before bed. We took up the offer and they had set up a table for us with fruit, bread, meats, cheese and water! The room was really comfortable and has a big double wardrobe with hangers and we had a shower over bath which had high pressure. Only think I would suggest is maybe having a night light? There was a mini fridge that you need to ask for the key at reception, TV with english channels, aircon, black out curtains balcony with chairs, dressing table and a large mirror. You’ll need an adapter for your plugs but there’s one either side of the bed. Breakfast was the same every morning but they have good variety of hot and cold food. Cereals, fresh omelettes, meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, english breakfast bits etc The beach which is literally a stones throw away is absolutely gorgeous and I did see that there was some activities like speed boating etc. Most days we spent by the outdoor pool which was a good size and lots of sun beds about. I will say that people do towel reserve in the morning so just be warned. There’s also a jacuzzi outside too. Can’t say anything about lunch as we got half board but we did get picky bits from the massive supermarket up the road (5-7 mins walk) which was also great! Dinner time there was always different dishes to choose from and lots of verity! However I think if you’re vegan you may struggle? Unless you can ask the staff then fair enough! They did have some sugar free bits/ GF bits too. I did find that there’s not much water at hand which was a down point for someone who likes to drink their 2L a day. I feel like free water should be a given but had to pay for it at dinner. In the end we resulted into filling our bottles at the gym fountain or using the fresh water taps on the beach that are used for drinking/cleaning your sandy feet. We went end of June/start of Juy which is when kids are still at school and given that this is an adults only hotel I found the demographic was on average 40 and above? At the time of writing this review me and my partner are both 25. So it was extremely quiet with no noise! Lovely! (We’re an old couple at heart). Our room was right by the lift and I was worried that meant hearing everyone has they walked passed for breakfast but didn’t hear a peep! There’s good entertainment in the evening up till about 11pm and tends to be at the snack bar by the pool - if you don’t have a sea view room then you’ll be able to see it from your balcony. There’s lots of night life and hustle/bustle if you go further into town which was nice to walk across the strip at night. There’s also a mini fairground for kids. There’s also a gym if you want to keep up with your fitness. Good range of free weights and slightly old machines but still do the trick. A few yoga matts, bikes/treadmills and upstairs there’s a small sauna that you need to ask reception to turn on for you and a Jacuzzi. Overall a fab stay, friendly staff and would come again!

Everything was great but the food was very "samey". Hot pasta was very poor. Usually spaghetti in a bland sauce. Cold fish in starters was limited with only mackerel available. However, lovely room with free safe and beach towels. Fridge cost was fair. Bed was firm but pillows a bit soft. I needed one of the extra ones from the wardrobe. Plenty of drawers, hanging space and hangers. Good air-conditioning and great Seaview vista. Fantastic entertainment by Esperanto. The rest OK. Will return to resort but back to Hotel Angela which fed me better!

Booked the hotel through a travel agent on the basis it was wheelchair accessible as travelling with a wheelchair user only to be told after paying in full the hotel can't confirm an accessible room prior to arrival and to request it on arrival. How is this useful for wheelchair users travelling to another country for holiday with no confirmation they will even have an adapted room! Disgraceful way to treat wheelchair users

Lovely hotel, the staff were brilliant and they were very friendly and helpful, the food was first class apart from your typical Spanish bacon. Happy hour in the Yarabar and other bars in the hotel, not to be missed we stayed in a superior room on the 14th floor, excellent view, room cleaned every day, bed sheets turned down every night, also thanks for the welcome pack of fruit and champagne, much appreciated, will definitely be back soon.

We've just had a wonderful week at the Yaramar, Right from check-in to check-out, The whole team have been great. The older clientele are really looked after by the restaurant and poolside team, its really nice to see that the staff keep a watchful eye on their every needs. The half board basis is fantastic with lots of choice at breakfast and Dinner. Drinks prices are very reasonable too. Trousers for men must be worn in the restaurants in the evenings but thats to be expected from a 4☆ Hotel, at times this rule does need to be enforced better to avoid upset amongst guests. The Rooms are a little visually dated but you get an Uber comfortable bed with memory foam mattress ( for a perfect dreamy sleep), really good quality pillows, Fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Kettle in room aswell as a fridge and every English TV channel that you have at home!! The Air conditioning was amazing too, Its very rare that you stay in a hotel of this standard and get all the in-room services included. Free Safe, Free Air conditioning, Free Fridge, Free pool towels and excellent cable TV. All this is topped off with stunning sea views as standard. We can't wait to return, Keep up the great work team Yaramar 👏

Nice hotel very clean could do with a little updating, staff very nice ,food good, entertainment in the evening very aimed at the elderly could do with modernising a bit, hotel more mostly for adults not for children, so Pool-side area very nice and peaceful and good if you want to relax, beach just across the road to,also good if taking someone in a wheelchair to get to all amenities and also outside area is quite flat

Lovely hotel .friendly staff, right on the beach ,swimming pool plenty of sunbeds . Food was really nice and as much as you want ,entertainment was brilliant Maybe a welcome pack in the room advertising local events and trips would have been helpful. Also the Air-conditioning wasn't on and the room was extremely hot overnight making sleeping difficult ( apparently it only goes on at certain times of the year ) Would still definitely use this hotel again

I have stayed here several times and enjoyed the experience with hardly a criticism of it although this time I slipped on the decking coming out of the pool as I did not have flip flops and fell quite badly with several bruises. I informed reception and next day a notice was put up and two boxes of sandals were provided. I am so glad action was taken as I saw others slipping on the decking too. I think the notice needs to be more prominently displayed.

Lovely hotel on the sea front. Great staff, which could not do enough for you. A large variety of food and always something being cooked fresh along with a buffet. Great location for walking along a 7 mile sea front. Rooms large with hairdryers, kettle, and fridge at a low cost, safe free of charge. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. I would stay at this hotel again , we had a great holiday.

We stayed here for 5 nights (Nov '22) and loved every minute of it. Yes, the rooms are a 'bit tired' although the bathroom was HUGE, But everything else was amazing! The pool was extremely clean and the hotel itself was stunning, but what made this a truly stunning stay were the staff! ALL the staff went out of their way to make sure we had the best time we could. The pool staff, the bar staff, the cleaners were all so helpful and polite, we really felt we were welcomed. The nightly entertainment was first class and we did not want it to end. We had to use the reception staff a few times and nothing was a problem for them (Especially Juan on the front desk who was ALWAYS helpful with a friendly smile) Thank you Hotel Yaramar for a truly exceptional stay we will remember for a long time.

Spacious hotel with well equipped rooms. Gala dinner was excellent but some of the general cooked food could have been better but the salads were excellent.

Perfect position for beach and town. Five minutes walk from the train station which is thirty minutes from Malaga airport. Great views from any of the rooms. The pool is heated in winter!

Lovely hotel in a great location just across the road from the beach. The staff are pleasant and are always are pleased to help you. Hotel is clean and tidy. Pool and sunbathing area a decent size. Gym/sauna/small jacussi indoors but we didnt use these so cant really comment. Rooms are a decent size and delux rooms are available for an additional fee. Good entertainment available in the hotel most nights but if you're wanting an early/quiet night the music can still be heard and we were on 11th floor. It didn't really bother us though as there was only a couple of nights we went to bed early - depends on the individual. Live load music in the bar has been finished by about 11pm. Restaurant food at breakfast and evening has been good quality and has there been a good selection. Happy hour usually between 7pm and 9pm. Easy to get on train from this hotel to as far as Malaga. Local bus easy to get on and visits other resorts

We have spent 5 weeks this year at this hotel staff are very polite and helpful food is good, only little niggle there is nothing tells you about dietary ie. Diabetic, gluten, dairy but i worked my way around it, rooms are very clean, entertainment was good most nights, this hotel will not be classed as gold frm 1st November but have being assured nothing changes other than the hotel will be providing the entertainment, and children will be allowed, we are going again so hopefully things wont change that much. As the hotel is now i can highly recommend it but we will have to wait and see.

Great Hotel. Friendly Staff When booking via TUI, the Fridge in the Room is changed extra at the Otel 10 EUR. Also if you are booking, opt for the sea view and something on higher floor. The views from the balcony are awesome Beach is 20 steps from the Hotel bang in Front of it. Area is well maintained, and monitored by police.

First time here at the Yaramar and we were not disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location opposite the beach and within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. Room was very nice near to pool bar and also near to restaurant. I had asked for low floor which we were given as there are 15 floors. Plenty of places to sit and relax in the hotel. The entertainment was very good especially Shaun Murray (guitarist) plus 2 hours of happy hour on drinks was very appealing. Staff were helpful and friendly as were the lovely cleaning ladies. Food was excellent, especially the roasts cooked every night. Good choice of food. Just one gripe but nothing to deter us from going back, it would have been nice to have back bacon not streaky but hey there was plenty of other choices. Local to train station and buses, easy to get to Malaga on the train. Many of the guests have been going to the hotel over many years and it seemed that a lot of the guests all knew each other, but everyone was friendly and it is a very welcoming hotel. Bonus of being able to go sister hotel few yards up the road, Angela Hotel and see entertainment at night. The weather was pretty good for the time of year too. All round happy and will definitely be coming back here.
