This is a lovely hotel. Old fashioned but I feel it works well. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of sanitisation stations laid out. The restaurant has been modernised and works really well. We had lunch and dinner here which was an all you can eat buffet with a good selection of salads, hot food and desert. Burgers, hot dogs and fries were some of the dishes aimed at the young but enjoyed by everyone. It was €15 per person with children eating free. Drink wax extra. We thought this was really great value especially as there was so much to eat. Plenty of staff to help patrons and keep tables clear. My main disappointment was there was no kettle or tea service in the room so I really missed that first cup in the morning. Reception staff are really welcoming and friendly as was the chamber maid. Location is right at the marina with plenty of bars and restaurants. Burger King and McDonald's were only minutes away to the right of the hotel. The beach is beside the Marina too with shower facilities and immaculately cleaned toilets. Coming out of the hotel and heading left for about five minutes you will find a small fairground for young children approximately 2yrs to 12yrs. All in all it is a lovely hotel where I would definitely return to especially with the children.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, good food, great staff and very good location. We are a group of friends all in our 70's and enjoyed the stay. Only drawback is the noisy disco across the road. Would definitely return.

Stayed here in an apartment, part of the hotel building but not run by the hotel. Nice big room. Decently equipped kitchen and bathroom. Lovely big balcony with large table to eat on. Very well equipped with washing machine, microwave (no oven) fridge, freezer. Only downside was it’s was very warm in the room. No way of cooling other than opening the doors. And sadly building work near by meant a prompt 0800 wake up. Nice place to stay, location very central.

GREAT Hotel for the price. Remember it's off season now , so the swimming pool is closed, kids animation and evening events are off too. But for the price offered you will get a 4 star hotel , in the middle of Fuengirola! And weather in January is between 16-22c so great for long walks or sunbathe if high. We Had a family of 6 , and despite above , we never get bored during our stay. Food is at a high level , as you could expect from a 4 star Hotel ,and I have never seen anyone unhappy out there. A variety of dishes from grilled calamari to chicken , fruits are always present even at breakfast time , and during dinner and supper wine is included in your Full Board basis 😜 so can't complain about that as well. The hotel staff is working very Hard , rooms are cleaned frequently, and all of them are very helpful. Outside of the hotel immediately there are bars and pubs and plenty to choose from ,as the Hotel is in the centre strip of town. There is a Harbour in the front and amusement park at the left. Further away ,in the back streets you could find Spanish Clubs with Live Latino music over the weekends. There is even a zoo nearby, so plenty to do around. I will definitely book this hotel again 😁 as it's in a great location, it's clean and the food is lovely. Thanks for the lovely time.

Rooms quality is not a 4 star hotel standard and was very low quality. The staff was very attentive and helpful. However it could have been better if they were not overloaded as it seemed the ratio of the number of guests per staff member, but I can say the staff tried their best but probably the management decision about the staff capacity was the reason.

I’ll be honest …we have stayed a couple of times at this hotel it’s location is great but not sure it’s decor has changed since the 1970’s because of its location it can be very noisy as surrounding bars are open till 4am …. The biggest problem is not enough power points to charge up devices there are 2 in the bedroom but one is used for the fridge and tv the other hidden on a wall lie down behind a small arm chair none by the bed If you are looking for a good price hotel and not bothered by noise and decor then it’s fine We always find the staff helpful esp the cleaning staff To sum up it wld be fair to say you get what you pay for

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2022. We had breakfast included in our stay. We enjoyed it thoroughly! Good food, loads of variety and lots of space to eat, including outside seating with a beautiful view of the marina. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could use some renovations. The pool space isn’t great and not enough sun loungers to accommodate for all the guests it holds and the pool only opens at 11am. However, you’re max a five minute walk from the beach and about ten minutes away from the city centre. There is also a shop at the bottom of the hotel and pubs, bars etc right along the front. The staff were very helpful. We had an issue with our key cards not opening the door but they promptly fixed this for us. All together it was a good stay with everything you need, in the beach promenade of Fuengirola so perfectly located. For the price we paid, it was great value for money, would return.

This place has really friendly staff. The location is brilliant. Could not be better. Now the hotel itself is very dated. The decor in the corridors is falling to pieces in places. We stayed on floor 3 and for the first 4 days there was a rancid smell. I will say that the rooms themselves were kept clean by the staff. So there is no concern there. Breakfast was well catered for. For what you pay it is standard. It would be nice to be able to order some vegetarian sausages, but that has no bearing at all. So in summary. If you plan on being in and around the hotel. Then you may want to look closer. However as a base to explore and sleep. Then I don't really have an issue.

I stayed here on 24feb. Family holiday. Hotel was good, rooms are clean, food was ok but the same everyday 6 different salads 3/4 dishes of meat chips, potatoes not much options or choice deserts was custards, cream cakes, mouse, same fruits everyday oranges or kiwis and slices of pineapples. They have water and wine for everyone eating. No other drinks no one asks what drinks you want there’s a bar down stairs. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very old and furniture is very out dated. spacious room. Beware there is no free parking at hotel it will cost you €15 per day. There was no pool as seen on pictures it’s was all closed off. We had back room Opposite had a building site going on. Good black out windows. And large bathroom. Good location right on the strip and 10/16 mins walk into old town. Overall we like it.

Nice view, acceptable room, hallway and reception need repair, smell like mold; have not changed the sheets for one week stay; didn’t clean the bathroom often; good location, but a bit noisy for my taste

Had to ask after 5 days to have beds changed. 1 socket in the room.. no facilities to make a cuppa... Plaster falling off the walls in the hallways. carpet filthy been repaired in places. Nice view from the room but the place is on top of a precinct and in the night you have louts shouting as they walk through. And you have the noise from the bars etc till 2 am gone. Probably a room at the back would be better . Doesn't warrant 4 star hotel with no facilities. You do get that at travel lodge and that's 2 star. Only good thing about it is it's across the road from the beach

We arrived and our room wasn't cleaned yet. We had to wait almost an hour until we were able to get to our cleaned room. The AC didn't really work and the room was very hot. Called the reception and they told someone was coming to help but nobody ever did. Breakfast was bland. I wouldn't describe the hotel as a four star hotel.

For the low price you pay this time of year this was fantastic value! Yes the hotel is an older building with traditional wood heavy rooms but they're spacious and clean. No teamaking facilities if this is important to you. Staff were very friendly and sorted an issue I encountered with speed. Great recommendations on where to go in town. Breakfast was busy but well stocked and catered for allergies. Can't fault hotel central location but there is some late night noise from nearby bars on some sides of building. Pool was closed whilst there. Happy hour very popular in hotel bar, get an early seat!

Traditionally, our hotel was for breakfast, dinner and overnight stay, the rest of the time we spent sightseeing and sunbathing on the beach, so in a few words. Rooms clean and everything without problems, meals OK ... no great revelations but there was no disappointment. The views from the window (8th floor) are perfect - the bay in all its glory. Service good. Perfect location for a walk around the area. The only downside is paying for parking (15 euros per day) where the car park was quite large and was actually empty... As I mentioned, most of the time we were away but during our stay everything was fine.

Stayed for 10 nights and honestly cannot understand all the negative reviews. The hotel itself is a little tired in some areas like the corridors but the rooms are spotless and spacious which is what matters most. We were given a room at the back overlooking the car park as we were here with our 2 year old and it was lovely and quiet and peaceful. Despite overlooking the car park we still had a view of the mountains too. Breakfast is plentiful with lots to choose from, typical English breakfast, bacon, sausages, scrambled and fried eggs, beans etc and even fried bread. Lots of continental options, deli meats, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, pastries, churros and an array of fruit and chocolate dips. Fruit juices (which are more like cordial) and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. All the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. Housekeeping come every day, however we didn’t need this every day so popped a dnd sign on and just asked for necessities like fresh towels and toilet roll which was no problem at all. Pool area is fab, a large pool for adults and older kids and a small pool for little ones which was great as my 2 year old could stand up in it which meant I could relax a little. Drinks in the pool bar are lovely and reasonable. €7 for a cocktail which is around the same price of all the bars on the front. Entertainment is on every day by the pool and of an evening too. We were only b&b so can’t comment on the lunch or dinner options. I saw someone had wrote a review saying no toilets in the pool area, which is a lie. They have toilets and also showers in the bathroom so if you have a late flight it’s ideal for getting cleaned up. Wifi is free and we had no problems with signal. No kettle or iron but we saw this ahead of time and brought our own and just asked for cups and spoons which was also no problem. There is a fridge and a hairdryer in the room and plenty of space for all your clothes etc. i would suggest bringing an extension cable. I would 100% stay again, ignore the negative reviews, some people just have ridiculously high expectations and for the price you pay I think you get a lot for your money. There are vending machines on sight, and pool tables. There is also a supermarket right outside and location wise you’re right in the thick of everything.

Great location, spacious rooms, good service and nice breakfast! Our only complaints are the minimal amount of charging ports in the room (we had to charge our phones in the bathroom) as well as the late opening time of the pool & the lack of regular pool cleaning. However, overall we had a great time. Need to add that Connor who was in charge of entertainment is amazing and made our stay even better! He is great at his job and we did not mind spending all day at the pool when he was there, as it was always a good laugh! Definitely something to look forward to! Massive Thankyou to Connor, you’re a vibe.

Excellent value for money but the food and drinks on offer was awful in my opinion. No option for soft drinks at dinner with water or wine as the only alternative. The lifts are super quick, the rooms are adequate although our "double room" consisted of 2 singles pulled together. The rooms are light but if you're like me and want a dark room through the day (for a lay in) then the curtains are brilliant. The roof top pool is great for both adults & kids but the doors do get locked which is ashame when I wanted to watch the sun set up there. An overall decent experience but if I return, I'll go self catering.

Basic. Needs revamp. Noisey due to bars and nightclubs surrounding it. Doesn't stop till 5 in the morning. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Food again basic but edible. Near train station from airport so that is good. Only 3 euros a ticket.

Clean and spacious rooms, but extremely noisy throughout the nights. Impossible to have normal sleep. The lighting in the rooms and in the bathroom is very weak. It is advertised that there is wi-fi, but for a three-day stay it did not appear at all. About the food - no comments. Abundance and variety and delicious.

Hotel is very dated but clean. Staff were friendly. Situated right near the port it was a good location. The restaurant had a poor selection, few vegatables, no sauces or gravy. We were half board but only ate there on 3 occasions, 1 breakfast, 2 dinner. Luckily there are a host of good places to eat nearby.

Staff really friendly, always made a fuss and distracted my one year old at meal times for us! very clean although rooms could use an update/lick of paint. Connor the entertainment was really good, spent time learning our names and done the best he could keeping everyone entertained. Pool absolutely freezing though, kids bit not open when we went but still a very nice place all round.

The room had no air con, it was more standard cold air in the Room. It would of been fine if the temperatures were around 20 degrees. But most days the temperature were sitting at 30 degrees and you had no relief at night. Restaurant has been refurbish. Lots of choice, good wasn’t too bad. The rooms were a good size, but wasn’t cleaned very well with housekeeping. Floors were filthy still (from sand) we were guessing. Balcony a good size, but we were facing the car park. Wasn’t exactly a nice view to look at. The pool does not have many sun beds; for a place that has hundreds of rooms. There is only 30 sun beds, which everyone is queuing for. The pool doesn’t look very clean and the pool side was sticky. If your priority is good air con and pool, I would not chose this hotel. Other than that, the place was ok.

This hotel's location is its best feature... It is old and a bit tired looking but fine for a quick stay. The pool is not big enough for the amount of guests and needs updating. The entertainment guy called Connor was fab and very enthusiastic. Breakfast not brilliant selection. But overall good.

Excellent location - beach across the road, train 5 minute walk & fish alley with beautiful restaurants less than 5 minute walk. Clean hotel, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Pool opens at 11am but you need to queue about 10 minutes before to ensure you get a sunbed. Daytime entertainment by the pool was good fun. Would definetly recommend this hotel.

We have just returned in the early hours of this morning from this hotel - Well what can I say - nothing but praise! I always read people’s reviews a but ‘tongue in cheek’ as different people’s expectations are different - but for what we paid for a lovely break away - it was a bargain - lovely food - clean room - lovely clean polite staff - ideal location - a 15 minutes train ride from the station- etc etc Ok it is a bit tired and dowdy looking and the noise from the music at night(at weekends) was a bit annoying - but over all the the positives out do the negatives and definitely made up for this - and we will definitely be going back again soon 😁
