Very satisfied. Helpful staff. Clean suite. Terrific location. Close to all stores, transportation and beach. On the down side. Located in the middle of restaurants, bars, beach nights are very noisy. Noises from renovations being done in the building was disturbing at times. Luckily I wasn’t affected by either.

We stayed in self-catering. Room cleaned everyday. Not a great kitchen 2 electric rings. toaster. kettle. microwave. we were luckily we ate out .10 minutes to the beach. 10 minutes to the marina. lots of bars and restaurants. outside good double grazing. could not hear anything once closed. we have been before and will be going back in October to see the festival

Really nice pool area with bar, good location, nice view from our room and balcony. Good cleaning, nice reception and nice looking lobby. Close to the beach. The elevators were extremely slow. They didn't give us enough towels when they cleaned the room. One of us slept on the sofa bed which was incredibly hard and uncomfortable and we could feel the springs through the mattress. It was hard to understand how the electricity worked in the apartment and some outlets didn't work at times. For the money, it was a decent stay but we will not stay here again if we come back to Fuengirola but we probably won't because the city didn't live up to our expectations for many reasons. Also there was no toilet brush which was very unsanitary and disgusting.

We rented an apartment from a private owner via Airbnb. The apartment and patio are very spacious and well equipped. The building has, bar, pool, bistro so everything you need it is near the marina and not far from the town.

The staff were helpful and friendly, but I can’t say I felt staying here was great value when I think of what I could’ve got for just a little more down the road. The 1st floor room had a decent bathroom, but the rest of the place felt “cheap and cheerful”. The glass divider at the end of the balcony was cracked, the decor felt like it was built to withstand potential damage rather than be aesthetically pleasing and the view half overlooked a wall that the pool area sat on top of. I’m pleased I was only staying one night. If you do stay here, I hugely recommend insisting you have a room on a higher level to avoid having a balcony that feels like you’re living in a basement flat.

If I could give 0 stars I would unfortunately I can’t. Our experience at hotel PYR significantly ruined our time here in Fuengirola. The hotel beds were awful and crippling that my back was in pain due to the lack of support from the bed. On our last night in the hotel we had to deal with the most selfish and inconsiderate next door neighbours who had no regard for anyone else except themselves. They were very drunk and obnoxious, speaking at loud volumes and laughing hysterically at 3AM. We called reception to inform them of the disturbance. The first time they sent someone up to tell them to be quiet. After that the people next door began speaking even louder and banging on our wall while laughing as if it’s a joke to them. We called reception the second time as it was absolutely ridiculous having to deal with such immature and inconsiderate behaviour. Reception said they would deal with it but nothing was done as the people next door continued talking and laughing loudly. At this point we were very upset and annoyed as this was absurd. We called reception the THIRD time and still nothing had be done. The noise persisted till 6 in the morning. We had an early flight to catch and were extremely sleep deprived at that point so we had no choice but to endure it. We’re extremely disappointed in the way the staff handled this situation. It’s such a shame as we stayed in this hotel previously when we were in Fuengirola but this will be the last time we’re staying here. The lack of action from the staff and care for their customers is appalling. They treat it as if it’s a common thing that happens and we should just deal with it. If you do plan on staying at this hotel, bear in mind you’ll be dealing with a crippled back due to the bed and incredibly loud noises from drunk people.

Staff not really friendly,, beds very uncomfortable and AC not working, pool has a lack of sunbeds for the amount of guests also wasn’t aloud to bring a bag of crisps from shop to pool for my daughter, need to make more family friendly as no music at pool bar and bad menu just frozen pizzas, breakfast was also not nice

Visiting friends who are stating here. Good studio with 2 single beds, comfortable sofa and Minnie kitchen with fridge 2 rings and small microwave. Nice bathroom. Their room was on the street side so does not get a lot of sun and has side view of port area. The rooms on the other side get the late morning sun till evening. The reception were very helpful. Plenty of parking nearby at this time of year in Jan/ Feb. Hand central location.

We are using this place on a weekly basis to host our free workshop for people who want to learn how to trade on the financial market. We are usualy here on tuesdays from 17.30 And this is a dog friendly place

Large Hotel, very clean with excellent helpful staff. Rooms clean & spacious with a kitchenette to make your own hot snacks and drinks. Got it's own swimming pool and probably many more facilities that we didn't use. We were there on a golf vacation.

Spent a wonderful month here...most comfortable bed we have slept in since traveling to the Costa del Sol for many years. Location is excellent and those at the desk were very helpful. Only complaint is the kitchen is a bit small..but the fresh fish and veggies we found at the market were great!!!

Difficult to rate as we were in a privately owned property within the hotel. The PYR facilities, cleanliness, reception area, bar and pool area we found to be great. Can't comment on the hotel bedrooms.

Not a good start ..we arrived after 10pm on the 30th..night staff were Not helpful at all..no information given about facilities. We were placed in a tiny room with a tiny balcony overlooking an alleyway with a club were the loud music did not cease until 6am so no sleep..we advised reception that were weren't happy with the room and again were told by unhelpful staff that nothing could be done until morning...After no sleep the following morning the day staff were more helpful and at 3pm were able to move us to a room on the 7th floor which was perfect..the girl on reception was surprised that we were placed in our first night room as it was not a good room ..perhaps night staff could do with more customer service training..Good points excellent location close to beach shops bars and restaurants..the pool area was perfect with plenty of sun loungers and excellent security .would go back to Fuengirola but perhaps a different hotel.

Perfect location. Lovely pool - adult and One for small children. Nice, large rooms with some kitchen facilities and seperate private bathroom.

This is our 3rd stay in the pyr we love this hotel right at the beach beside shops bars restaurants everything on the door step 8 mins walk to the train station the staff are excellent from the moment you arrive your made to feel welcome they are friendly and helpful the cleaning staff are also fantastic we stayed in the dulex studio facing the pool newly refurbished it was perfect fir our honeymoon we can't wait be back and thank you for the bottle of prosecco in our room so kind and thoughtful x

Hotel Pyr hotel was a mixture of hotel accommodation and private rooms. We stayed in a studio apartment small but had everything you needed great view from balcony. I would have gave it a higher score but there was a lot of noise due to renovating of apartments in the 7th floor where we were on

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is right in the middle of the boulevard.

Just perfect once again. Super placement and great rooms. Only thing, it would be nice if the pool could be heatet again 😉

Very clean hotel rooms cleaned every day. The beds could do with an upgrade. The hotel is in a great location handy to to beach and great restaurants.

Very comfortable with good breakfast and parking. Perfect location and very friendly and helpful staff. We will always stay at the Hotel Pyr.
