7 nights and 8 days in the hotel, 4 stars are worth it but 5 definitely not. The food is decent but the morning buffet is not varied enough and is the same every day. There is no boiled egg available, only cold boiled eggs in the afternoon, evening. The dessert buffet was also a bit less and the hygiene of the people at the buffet too, but the hotel provides gloves and alcohol gel for you to use. The alcohol gel is not filled in every place, which is a shame in this day and age! The pool is good and is a mix of chlorine and salt water, only the hours for eating are illogical. Cleaning is not always good either, because sometimes you see hair from the cleaning lady. Live music, magic and circus is just nothing. The Flamingo evening was good and the staff is very friendly! Especially the lady who checked us in and was present the first days of our stay, the rest of the reception staff gave wrong information. There is a lady with brown/black medium hair at the reception and she is great! Train station is next to the hotel, but that doesn't bother you

Bedroom could do with a freshening up, service was excellent with all staff so helpful. Location ideal as bus and train only short walk away. Common areas in hotel so comfortable and nicely decorated. Food was good and varied ,lovely fresh fish . Stayed before and went back in June for two weeks and had a wonderful holiday.

Enjoyable holiday, Staff were all lovely, only 2 lifts for 9 floors so a bit of a wait if on the 9th floor which we were. Especially at meal times. Hotel is on a slight hill a problem if not able to walk far on the plus side there is a Railway station directly below hotel which takes you into centre. Food repetitive but aren't most hotels we ate out a lot at some lovely restaurants. Pool area was busy most days but there is a secluded pool which was nice and quiet. Entertainment was also repetitive.

Great hotel considering this is our first package holiday but there are some things that are considerably bad. The smaller pool rarely gets cleaned out and even if they do clean it they do horrible job. You also have to pay for drinks at dinner but not at breakfast. BUT. they do have decent food and good housekeeping.

The hotel itself is fine nothing too fancy but nice. Staff very friendly. The pool area is nice pool is in the sun. Drink and snack bar Excellent. The only problem I had personally. was the food. I say personally because I’m more a pie n mash sausage n chips full English breakfast kinda guy. Not Much of a fish eater. But if you like unusual looking dishes you will love it. Just so you know . No tradition sausages. Bacon very unusual but fine.

Fantastic hotel with fabulous food and service. The entertainment for children and adults is great. It's extremely clean and great location for a range of shops, restaurants and the beach. Cant wait to go back!!

Refurbishment lovely. Staff so obliging, friendly, very efficient in Reception, restaurant, bars and room cleaners. Gardens well kept, pools clean, less than 5 minutes to beach, not in overbuilt location. 24 hour fast train on the doorstep, going between Malaga and the airport, lots of stops on the way. Great for families. Plenty of decent food. A big thankyou to all who work there.

I would of gave it a 2 Star Rating but the Restaurant and Bar Staff were always so friendly and funny always talked to us or the kids and made us feel comfortable otherwise the Reception Staff was sadly not the same they were rude and annoyed when confronted with Requests. The Food was very mediocre and some meats weren't cooked enough. They didn't switch it up or gave much Options that also Kids would like to eat. Snack Bar was good for Drinks but also Foodwise was boring in the 6 from 7 Days we were there it was 4pm till 7pm just ham and cheese toasties and one 1 day they had more Options but only in the Morning which we didn't knew as there wasn't a Plan that you could look at to see what for Snacks which Day etc. Pool was often Dirty already in the Morning and the Water was quite murky and not clear. The Area is great its so close to the Beach and other Amenities as well as the Train station. Overall its just not what you expect from a 4 Star Hotel

Nice friendly staff. Hotel is a bit dated and could do with a spruce up although cleaners kept your room and the hotel very clean and tidy. If going again I would go B&B as the food wasn't the best. Quiet area not too far from the beach, train station just behind hotel ( electric so very quiet ) so easy access up and down the coast. Found a few Brits staying there but seemed mainly Dutch and Spanish. All in all, if you want a relatively quiet place and not expensive, I would recommend.

Great location. Hotel great! Food and food choice for all ages was superb. Great staff, friendly and helped me with my beginners Spanish. Inma on the bar was lovely. We had an absolutely lovely, relaxing time. Rooms big and very clean- reception staff Great too. Only fault .... we were only there for a week!!!! Close to beach, shops, restaurants and train station but not noisy. Would return, thank you!! X

Just back from a week here and thought the hotel was v.nice. my room was spacious with a great view - cleaning lady was great wanted to clean every day ! People seemed to b cleaning all over. - breakfast more than adequate- didn't eat at night. Reception friendly hotel set in nice grounds. Children's pool was closed for work but adult one was fine. Hotel is right outside the train station but you don't hear anything. Yes the hotel is up a bit of a hill but only for 5mins- v close to beach and shops. Would go again.

Just back from a week in this hotel and it worked very well. We flew into Malaga airport and there is a local train line, the C-1, which takes you right from the airport to about 100 metres from the hotel in around 30 minutes. We went all-inclusive, and the food was good, particularly at the price point, we've paid a lot more for an all-inclusive hotel in the past, and in some ways the food in this hotel was better. A highlight of the meals was the seafood, particularly the fish. We had tuna steak, swordfish steak, squid, mussels and mackerel, to name but a few of them. The meat wasn't quite to the same standard, and desserts were rarely to my taste, with a lot of sponge cakes. Possibly the most frustrating thing about the meals was that you had to queue for drinks at lunch and dinner. I can understand it with alcohol and juices, particularly when everyone was not all-inclusive, but I can't understand why they couldn't have a water-cooler so people can help themselves, as we've had elsewhere. The rooms were very good, well-appointed, with good cleaning and included a free electronic safe, which we've had to pay extra for in the past. Balconies were all sea-facing, but overlooked each other, so weren't private. Our room over-looked a large bull statue on a nearby hill. The biggest draw-back was probably the entertainment. It's hard to please everyone, and the singers were good, with a flamenco show one evening which was very good, but a lot of it didn't hit the spot. Singers didn't start until 10 and background music could be turned up very loud, making conversation difficult. A bingo session disintegrated, with a lot of people unsure what was happening. The main issue was that there was only the one space to drink / socialise in the evening. It would have been good to sit somewhere quiet and chat if the entertainment didn't appeal, but we didn't find anywhere we could do that. Staff were very good all week. They were attentive, friendly, and cheerful. They organised a taxi for us in the middle of the night for an early flight, and got to know our preferences for drinks etc. The hotel was reasonably busy, but we never had a problem getting a sunbed. There were two pools and a grass area with sunbeds. We would go out in the morning, back for a late lunch, and then go outside to get some sun and there was always space for us.

Very spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly - we came in late and the dinner was waiting for us. Location was brilliant - 5 minutes walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to train station.
