Excellent hotel and a great location, stone's throw away from the beach. Stayed for 5 nights with my partner. On arrival we were welcomed with a very pleasant entrance/lobby area, we were then greeted with a polite member of staff who explained everything in detail to us and was very swift In being handed our room key cards. We had the twin room, the photos do not do justice as it was much more than what we expected, it was lovely, adequate and had everything we needed from shampoo, body wash and a free bamboo toothbrush. The beds were a dream to sleep on and woke up always feeling like I had a great night's sleep and so did my partner. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival and within our hotel room too. The pool was amazing and a fairly decent size. Didn't have an issue getting a sun lounger. The breakfast had everything you'd need and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to sit outside for it. There is a supermarket right outside the hotel grounds, for all your needs to bottled water and essentials. The food and bar was great for getting your lunch, food was amazing, so was nice that you didn't feel you had to venture out for it and very reasonable priced. Overall we had a lovely stay, from the time we arrived till we left. This hotel is surely one to recommend. Many thanks Paige&Sam

Lovely hotel. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, shame. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower and liquid soap by the basin. You cannot fault the breakfast it was amazing covered all the bases, inside and outside seating, impressive. Outside pool area not quite big enough, however the beach is on the doorstep. No complaints. Rooms cleaned daily plus clean towels.

Beautiful Hotel! Pool warmish so was good for our one year old, food absolutely stunning. We was upgraded due to a mess around with out holiday, room was Beautiful with a view of the sea. left early in the morning due to flight and was greated with packed lunches to take with us as we was missing breakfast. staff lovely and friendly would definitely recommend. The only thing I would change is entertainment definitely needed when you have young children, it's easier to stay in and watch the hotels entertainment so something the hotel defiantly lacks.

Functional and well-equipped hotel, full of Brits - you decide whether that's a good thing! Ideal location as a base for other activities - particularly golf with 10 courses within 20 min drive. Plentiful buffet breakfast, and clean and tidy rooms. Pool looked good and an amount of sun beds. Good value

Only went to have a look at hotel while I was in benelmadena. Had a look outside not very keen on poolside. A little bit austere. Inside looked very modern. One guest said breakfast was very good. Need to try it for a week to find out more.

It's in a great spot and has ample of room for guests. Had a sea view room which was great. Very clean tidy and the staff are friendly and attentive. They even provided a cake on my wife's birthday and were welcomed in the morning with a happy birthday. Good food choice and wines.

Brilliant hotel at a great price. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely stay. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the room was also clean and a good size, bathroom lovely also. Pool was nice and we never struggled to get a sun lounger even later in the morning. Breakfast had a good selection each day. Staff were very friendly. I would recommend checking in online before arrival if possible, saves time and they ask for your preferences such as floor and bed set up and they accommodated our preferences. Hotel is right by the promenade and seafront, great location as slightly away from the noisy part of town but within a 5 min walk. We would definitely stay here again on our return to fuengirola.

The hotel was very clean and the location is great. Breakfast was beautifully set out and all fresh. Evening dinner not so much! The hot food was not hot and it looked and tasted dry. But everything else was lovely. A lot of golfers but all very friendly. The beach across the road is nice and clean 7 euros for sunbed. Lots of lovely bars and if you go up near marina to the little back streets it's very nice. Hair dryer in room is okish! Bathroom lovely and clean and spacious fresh towels every day. Drinks in outside bar very reasonable. 2.50 euros small beer. Didn't go to pool so can't comment but it looked lovely and clean.

We enjoyed so much the two rooms apartman with a beautiful view to the see. The breakfast is really full range and tasty (except the coffee). Location is simply perfect and the pools are great. We will definitely return.

Special thanks to Gabriel and the rest of the staff. They made my stay wonderful. Honestly one of the best hotels ever. I had a brilliant time there. Would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location next to the beach! We've stayed here 4 times in the last year. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the pool and terrace area. There is a great choice and good quality of food at breakfast.

Stayed recently during trip to Spain and Portugal. Hotel was nice, although staff was not very helpful or informative. Had a nice view of the sea from our room and was close to beach and several restaurants. Seems to cater to Golfers quite a bit. Had live entertainment in the lobby at night which was very fun, with they would have gone later than they did.

This is a spotless hotel with lovely staff. It attracts a lot of large groups of lads/girls so can be a bit loud around the pool area; one large group of girls produced a bluetooth speaker and played loud dance music ! I’d have liked to see a member of staff address this but sadly not. An old gent went over to them and asked them to turn it down; they did so but then ridiculed him as he walked away, real class. The hot food buffet is not great and we ate mostly salad, tuna and bread in the evenings or ate out. Also lots of building noise could be heard from our balcony so we had to keep the doors closed although this is not the fault of the hotel.

Not what I was expecting, more like a Premier Inn. Very clean and modern but very little space for clothes, tiny wardrobe and only 3 drawers +2 open bedside cabinet. We were only there for 7 nights and had to keep some of our clothes in our cases. Plus points in room was lovely big shower. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice sadly evening Meals were not good unless you went in at opening time lot of the food was not very hot. Some of the dishes were labelled and some were not also cold meats were not covered so you had flies on it and drying out(should have had glass dome cover). We ate out on 3 nights. Jet 2 rep did try to help out but unfortunately we didn't see her till 2 days before we left. I would sum up as a hotel for business trip or couples who don't want to do much. Virtually no entertainment only 2 nights, staff good but we would not return there.

The hotel was spotless , the room was so nice and the location is perfect you are so close to everything! The pool is amazing and just overall a wonderful hotel. We got breakfast included and that was the only let down of the hotel as i felt there could have been more options. Overall a 9/10 and we would definitely come back.

A very nice hotel, which is still relatively new. It is very spacious, decent sized clean rooms and a great breakfast. But, it's just a bit soulless. Can't put my finger on it, but never felt properly settled.

Great location. The only negative response, room way to hot at night. Can’t leave doors open all you hear is A7 noise. For a 4 star hotel very annoying that you can’t put the air con on in your own room. Still here now for another 4 days

Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff, lovely shower and very comfortable beds. However we were disappointed with Room 609 to find that the seal on the patio was faulty resulting in a very cold draught. This tricked the air conditioning/heating into thinking the patio door was open so the heating wouldn’t work. Hotel maintenance fix for this was extra duvets and duct tape to seal the door so we couldn’t use the balcony 😕 Not what you’d expect in a hotel of this standard. Breakfast was fine, not as much choice as other hotels we’ve stayed in but can someone please teach the chef how to cook bacon (so overcooked)!!! Would love to see tea/coffee maker in bedrooms.

We stayed here for two weeks over Xmas and New Year. NOTHING about this hotel is 4* beware holiday operators who claim that it is. It is NOT a holiday hotel. It is for short stay visitors where minimal guest/staff interaction takes place. The food is poor. The service is poor..possibly not enough staff. 1. Food in the buffet restaurant is rarely hot at dinner and can be undercooked. Food choice can be poor with chicken wings or burgers an example. Food choice at the lobby bar is poor and again can be undercooked and inedible. This is NOT 4* food. 2. Rooms may be modern but they are spartan and soulless with little storage and are not suitable for a stay of more than a few days. Problems with our room took several days to resolve. The staff were not helpful. This is NOT 4* accomodation. 3. The large public areas are pleasant but there is no waiter service. All guests must fetch and carry their refreshments from the small lobby bar. At times you have a very long wait to be served. This is the only bar/snack bar for a hotel with 320 rooms. There are some "call points" but with dozens of guests and the apparent shortage of staff they are useless. This is NOT 4* service.

Really nice experience and location is super great and very convenient. Views are amazing. Hotel is little funny about like if you like to use the safe you have to pay for it which is little funny to me lol. Breakfast is included and it is very nice with plenty of options to chose from

What can I say the hotel was fabulous, decor, service, restaurant, location, rooms all simply marvelous BUT the food, I'm sorry to say in my opinion let it down. Other people may like cold food which should be hot but I certainly don't. If there is a problem keeping buffet meals hot provide a microwave. The quality of breakfast very poor if you like an "Old English", the chewy bacon was poor, the sausage (more like a frankfurter) and why do you have to cut them in half? Toaster needs to be serviced, unless you have time to put it through 3 times. I am not a fussy eater but I don't like cold meals which should be served hot. Despite all the above, I loved this hotel. Just needs a few adjustments in the restaurant. All in all the Menu was very disappointing.

We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel Occidental Fuengirola (August 2022). The room (and the bed) was big enough, nice and clean. The staff (from reception, restaurant to cleaning and the pool) was very nice and polite and gave a very warm, calm and relaxed feeling. I did read some reviews with some remarks I would like to contradict….: We had a room on the 6st floor with side sea view and we were very happy with it and liked the sea view but also the view towards the other side (the mountains) a lot. Very nice! The 2 elevators per hotel tower were always more than enough (no idea why someone would like to have more elevators….?). Breakfast is very good and not too busy (we use the timeframe between 7.30 till 09:30). More than enough choice between different kinds of meat/cheese/eggs/fruit/etc. Different types of Jam is available in some kind of “vending machine”. The hotel is just outside the busy city centre and boulevard. After a little walk over the boulevard there are lots of very nice restaurants when you leave the boulevard and walk towards the streets behind the boulevard. Especially I would like to mention the Italian “Portofino restaurant”. Very nice food for a very good price, ran by a nice hard working family. We will definitely go back to this hotel!

Hotel next to the beach? This one is! Beautiful rooms and everything clean? Yup, this one! The only thing is there is mild construction happening across the road, but it didn't bother us. We slept with earplugs just to be on the safe side.

Very nice hotel, restaurant has great selection on the buffet menu. Outside area good but not many sun beds but pool a good size, rooms are well kept but views to be desired from the side of hotel. All in all good place to stay and across the road from the beach

The hotel is quite old but has had a major face-lift. Staff and service is impeccable. Rooms were done every day and kept beautifully clean. Could do with more lifts as a bit if a wait but it was full. Lots of choice for breakfast , could do with being kept a little warmer, again very good service every time and no wait to get a table and no queues to get food. Pool was a nice temperature with plenty of beds available Still has the usual muppets putting a towel on the best positions and then going away. 40min unattended rule would be a great thing to implement here. The position is also good being a short walk from the old town but very convenient across the road from the beach. Marina and railway station are about 1km away
