At first we had the basic room and we’re quite disappointed at how sparse it was. It got better then they blew it. Too bad it finished with a very sorry ending. We upgraded to a junior suite and it was magnificent overlooking the ocean and the pool. The food is top notch. Other staff is great. Don’t overlook the opportunity to spend some time at this great hotel prices are reasonable food around the hotel is plentiful with many good restaurants at reasonable prices. So it was all ruined when I wanted ice for my room. They charged E2.50 and it was enough for two glasses. Penny wise and pound foolish decisions have made it clear that spending E 2000 for the weeks rental did not deserve free ice for my room.

This hotel is in a very good location, close to beach, bars, restaurants, train station, bus services and the old town. There's a great selection of food, the staff are helpful/friendly and the rooms are cleaned daily. Plenty sunbeds are available & an infinity pool plus sauna, massage treatments etc Nightly entertainment is provided in the spacious hotel bar! All in all, a lovely place to stay!!

Lovely hotel great location spoilt by the building work and our room right next to it. Would have had to pay to move rooms when hotel was half empty. This side of the hotel is in shade all day and it is rather cold could not use the balcony because of this and the building work. The other side has the sun most of the day and evening would have loved a room on this side and if so would have rated the hotel so much higher.

Just had a full refurb. At the moment there is a massive extension being done, will probably be 18 to 24 months. Looks great inside. New reception and entertainment room look great.

The hotel is clean-ish (there were some very small ants in our room because whoever stayed there last left an open sugar packet). The hotel is also close to everything. Other than that there isn’t much positive to say. I booked a sea view room but I don’t see how it would be any different than a side sea view, so either don’t bother buying the upgrade or be prepared to complain to the concierge if they try to put you in a different room class. As is the case with most hotels in the area, there is no parking. You have to find a pay lot or find street parking. Most of the street parking is only for a limited time so you have to be careful. The rooms are outdated and have the bare minimum amenities. There is is no fridge. The towels and bed linens are threadbare, but it’s hot so it doesn’t matter much. It just adds to the feeling that the hotel has seen better days. Besides the nice shower, the bathroom toiletries reminded me of a cheap motel with a tiny bar of soap and a shampoo and body wash dispenser on the wall that dispensed product that left much to be desired. The walls were extremely thin and we could hear any conversation in the hallway as well as hear anyone move furniture around on the floor above us. New pool towels were 1€ each which is cheap but also does not feel like a 4 star hotel. Overall I don’t really know how this is a four star hotel. It is extremely basic so don’t expect anything fancy if you stay here.

Nice place, stayed the week, rooms cleaned everyday, just remember to place your towels on the floor if you want them changed. Food is beautiful with a wide variety. Only down side was not being able to bring your own water in at tea time can understand about the Alcohol side, and also if you don't want a bill at the end of your stay make sure you pay the table bill at reception after your meal.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfasts and lots of choice for evening meal. Only thing that lets it down is the room size. Standard twin rooms are a little bit small.

Great place to stay. Full of oldies, so no trouble. Rooms smallish, but very clean and lots and lots of English t.v channels. Happy 2 hours every night from 8 till 10. Great choice of food, both breakfast and tea. Friendly staff. Only downside at the moment is the building work because they are extending. There is a fridge in the room, but there is no mention of having to pay for it.

Great location right on the beachfront. Friendly staff who joined in dancing with the guests at the evening dances! Brilliant!. Amazing selection of fresh fruit, cheese, hot breakfast, pastries, and even champagne if you wanted it! Rooms cleaned daily. Super outdoor pool and indoor pool. Sauna had to be booked in advance and only open from 10 to 6 which was a pity. Easy short walk to some excellent restaurants and bars and coffee stops! Really loved it here! Superbly priced a d only 5 mins from Los Boliches train stop! Highly recommended

What a lovely hotel in a great location right on the sea front in the middle of Fuengirola town with shops, supermarkets, bars, cafes, restaurants and walks. The hotel itself is clean and tidy and often see the cleaners early morning making the hotel inviting. Beds and towels are changed everyday if you wanted them too. There are seating areas in the lounge area and on the pool. The pool is an infinity one overlooking the sea and has sun loungers with umbrellas to relax by. The pool is clean and cool and refreshing with entertainment Thursday - Sunday evenings (see photos) Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available - depending if you book through an airline of through the hotel itself. Variety of food, different options for breakfast from English breakfast to hams and cheeses, in the evening there is quite a lot of fish but usually something to suit everyone such as chips, bread and salads in the evening. Puddings are on offer too. Have to pay for drinks in the evening. They are free in the morning so make the most of the prosecco! Happy hour is available everyday from 12-1 at the pool, every evening from 8-10 at the lounge bar with entertainment most nights and Thursday to Sunday 8-10 at the pool (see attached photos) the entertainment and happy hour are posted in lifts and in the lounge area to see what's going on. I would recommend this for couples then 30 + as it's a relaxed chilled out environment. I wouldn't recommend it for children or a student holiday. Would definitely return hopefully longer next time! 🇪🇸☀️👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏻

We got home last night after a wonderful ten night stay in the Angela hotel. Our flight was delayed coming to fuengirola and so we didn’t end up arriving at the hotel until after midnight. We hadn’t had our dinner because of the time our flight was and when we got to the hotel they surprised us by leaving some dinner for us. Super thoughtful and very much needed after travelling for so long. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are so kind and helpful and always welcomed us with a smile when we returned after a busy day In the sun. The food was great. The entertainment was brilliant. The hotel is in the best location and we cannot wait to come back next year. all staff where so accommodating and made out time there the best. Also Gary the tui rep is brilliant and so full of energy and always smiling willing to help. So glad we came here. Thanks for an amazing holiday.

Third stay here and paid extra for suite which was worth it. Upside is the location, downside is dinning room staff. As we've noticed in the past it is very clear that they have favourites. We stayed 3 weeks and was lucky to be acknowledged at all. Food was at best average, but we ate out a lot. On paying my bill and checking out, not one person asked if we enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again. It probably won't put us of staying again because of the location.

Due to depart in 2days as I have indicated position is superb however this hotel is not a 4star 3star at best the rooms are bijou the bedside cabinet was home made not very, well maid service was patchy had to request toilet paper twice bathroom sink was not cleaned for three days .you also have to pay for the washing of pool towels albeit only a nominal amount. Tui let me know sbout the building work about 3weeks before departure leaving me little choice other than to come the is building work is far more extensive than refurbishment as suggested. Having said al that generally the holiday has been for the most enjoyable. Would I stay here again no I'm sorry to say

The rooms are not soundproofed at all, whether from the street or hotel guests. The beach is a 5-minute walk away, and the first and second rows are always reserved for people who come after 2 p.m. Room cleanliness: If you leave a tip, you get super clean. Without a tip, you get zero cleanliness. We did not eat food. We prefer to go to restaurants in the city center. It has a wonderful location and has a balcony overlooking the sea and the swimming pool. You must book early at 10 a.m. You will not find a place to sunbathe. It is a bit expensive for the service it provides.

My wife and I have visited the Angela many many times someyears three times over a winter period. We have always been received with a welcoming smile and enjoyed our holiday. We always book an upgrade to the warmer pool side. We email 3 weeks before arrival to secure the room we prefer, receive an acknowledgment from either Frensesco or Dulce promising to do their best, we have never been let down. This year was different the receptionist didn't acknowledge our e mail gave us the dreaded sentence the hotel is full, meaning you get what we offer, we were offered a room directly in front of the lifts. Totally unsuitable for a light sleeping seventy year old, back to reception and we were offered the room we had requested, but was asked to pay another upgrade of 20Euros a night. We refused and was told to go away think about it, the room by the lifts or our usual room. We returned to reception for the third time to resolve the situation, I enquired whom I was talking to, it took three attempts to get the receptionist name. We would not agree to another upgrade of 140 euros having paid an upgrade to Tui when booking, after sometime the receptionist conceded and gave us the room with out extra cost. I did chat to other guests who were in similar rooms and they were not asked to pay extra. We were in our opinion treated very shabily and it appears the Angela has a policy of maximising profits rather looking after its customers. So thanks for the memories, we will not be returning.

Not good not bad, could be a lot better. The check in is a big mess, waiting for more than 2 hours, bar nice with nice shows I didn't like the drinks. Room ok but not enough towels. The indoor swimming pool really annoying go through the restaurant to get there and the water was too cold, sauna damage and you must pay extra... So not so relaxing experience...

Wonderful staff. Rooms a little bit dated. (I understand they offer premium rooms at 7 euros a day). Food satisfactory. You do have to pay 2.3 euros for a small bottle of water. I would suggest this hotel best suits over 50s.

It was good, staff were friendly and good location, only difficulty I found was that I booked a double bed room, they told me they didn’t have. Which I did not find nice. From the selection area when you click the option when you do the booking. There is an option for choosing what kind of room you want, why you have this option on Booking APP then?

Me and my partner both aged 22 arrived home from this hotel yesterday. We were told it was adult based and we booked this hotel recommended by TUI for a chilled beach holiday. When we arrived the reception staff were lovely and very friendly. However, the restaurant staff (waitresses) were very rude and their service was appalling! Me and my partner arrived for breakfast the day after arriving and they were very impatient with us, they slammed my glass of orange juice down on the table to which is spilt over the table. They then continued to give us very nasty looks whilst walking past. The average age group in this hotel was for the older generation and I think because We were younger we were frowned upon by staff apart from receptionists and cleaners! The cleaners were amazing and super friendly, the room was cleaned everyday and it was always spotless. I do not recommend paying for half board or full board as the food wasn’t nice at all. We ended up eating out for breakfast, lunch and dinner and spending a lot more. My partner isn’t a fussy eater at all however he was unable to eat in the restaurant. Flavourless and not the best quality. The beach opposite was packed and you had to pay 6 euros for a sun bed which wasn’t bad price but it was hard to relax or find any space due to it being so busy with local residents. However I understand it was summer holidays and we went as the busiest time! We enjoyed our holiday as there was a lot around the hotel, and the pool was lovely! You don’t need to rush to sun beds in the morning because there is enough there to go at 1/2pm and still have one!

Rooms have had some refurbishment but are let down by some of the work in the bathroom. Shower is great, has a handle in which was really good for me and my balance, would benefit from a non slip bit at the end you get out of it, something bit bobbly you can grip. Food was plentiful and a good variety, they had gluten free bread for me, no desserts for me, with my lactose free diet, but fruit was fine. Entertainment for the most was great lovely seeing so many up dancing . I appreciate thst Sunday's are a day to have time off, but rainy day , there is nothing to do. Staff lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Very good hotel, fantastic location as well. Only negative point is that the rooms could do with being updated but saying that they are still very good. Food is faultless, some hotels have more choice, but quality is among the best I've seen. Free wi-fi, free safe as well, things most other hotels charge for. First time here, and we will be back next year. Would not hesitate to recommend it.
