Recently
stayed
here
for
three
nights;
the
welcome
from
reception
was
very
pleasant
and
informative.
Our
room
was
clean,
the
bed
was
comfortable
and
the
position
of
the
hotel
is
superb
for
exploring
the
area.
We
were
supplied
with
robes
and
slippers,
and
the
toiletries
were
of
a
great
standard
for
a
three
star
hotel.
Unfortunately
all
of
the
waiting
staff
are
extremely
terse
and
unfriendly.
For
instance,
when
ordering
any
hot
drink
at
breakfast,
we
had
to
ask
for
sugar,
and
it
feels
like
they
are
doing
you
a
favour
in
bringing
it
to
your
table.
None
of
them
seem
happy
in
their
jobs,
and
it
makes
for
an
unpleasant
atmosphere.
We
chose
to
upgrade
to
having
breakfast
every
morning
we
stayed,
but
we
urge
potential
guests
not
to
do
this,
as
it
is
not
worth
the
extra
money.
There
is
a
choice
of
hot
or
cold
food
for
breakfast,
and
it
is
great
that
it
is
served
until
11am,
but
the
food
quality
is
disappointing
and
presentation
lacklustre.
Another
disappointment
was
the
pool
area;
the
management
need
to
look
at
the
general
upkeep
of
this
area.
The
wooden
flooring
needs
attention,
the
sun
lounger
cushions
are
cheap
and
not
waterproof
and
there
is
just
a
general
feeling
of
it
being
unloved
and
unkempt.
Upon
checking
out,
we
were
not
asked
if
we
had
a
good
stay,
but
we
guess
that
guests
are
not
asked
this
question,
as
they
know
that
no
one
is
going
to
100%
positive
about
this
hotel.
Not
much
needs
to
be
changed
to
make
this
hotel
a
real
jewel
in
the
town,
as
the
building
is
stunning,
but
they
need
to
start
by
culling
all
of
their
miserable
staff!
