We finally stopped by Ruby Chow's! Parking was super easy (behind the building, in the lot or deck) for a Friday night at 6:45pm. We were seated immediately and served so quickly that we were done-and-out in 40 mins. The service and ambience is phenomenal, and the food is delicious! We can't wait to come back and try other menu items. Our order: Thai Basil Chicken (not spicy or what you'd expect, but weirdly good); spicy pork noodle; katsu bao (the bun was so squishy-warm and the katsu VERY crispy); green beans; ginger salad (not too sweet, very refreshing); roti canai (curry is on the sweeter side than most Malaysian dishes).

Authentic and flavorful food with an amazing ambiance. This week I visited Ruby Chows, an Asian restaurant near Ponce City Market. And they did not disappoint! Feels like you stepped into a scene of a movie. The floral wallpaper and oriental style/decor was welcoming as well as the burgundy and red all over the restaurant. My waitress ,Renee, was very polite, soft spoken and gave great recommendations for items on the menu. Also very attentive ( ask for her if you go!) Now to the food and drinks For my drinks I got Naked & Infamous, a tequila cocktail that was refreshing. For food, I got the seared scallops and wontons. Both were very good and packed in lots of flavor along with good texture. But the WONTONS, are to die for! I was told that they make them fresh every morning. For desert, I got the mango sticky rice.

First time here. Came for date night. Atmosphere was nice, dim lights, music in the background. Took a bit for my server to come over but It was fine since I had to wait for my husband to park the car. The valet was full unfortunately. Our waitress was nice, and did recommend some drinks on the menu but unfortunately they weren't my taste. I did have to send one back but settled on the aperol jewel. I really wanted to order something not on the menu but was told I was unable to do so (or could order a classic drink - Manhattan etc). Reason being I was at a table not the actual bar. So I didn't like that, the table next to me also had the same complaint. Bartender should be able to make what's requested of the customer, even if we are sitting at a table. Had the brussel sprouts and they were delicious, miso soup was really good. Husband had the pork bun and the spicy pork noodles, noodles weren't really all that spicy but he has a high spice tolerance. He did say his food was good. Overall experience was ok. Nice to try but I doubt we would return.

We’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile and so glad we finally did! We sat outside as we had dogs. The ambience is very nice and they had a powerful fan which helped keep us cool. The service was impeccable- super friendly and attentive. The food was flavorful! I ordered the scallops and shaking beef - both had great flavors and seasonings. My husband has the spicy pork noodles.for dessert we had the mango sticky rive which was divine!! I’ll come back here again just for that dish alone! Highly recommended you check this place out!!

My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience at Ruby Chow's. The restaurant was unique, and had a great vibe. Our server Cassidy was kind and attentive. She made great suggestions and was very personable. I am happy to report that all the food that we had was delicious. There were many items that were creative, and well thought out. This is a place where I would love to come back to with friends to share tapas and cocktails with.

A warm yet inviting & upscale Asian fusion restaurant, with a super friendly atmosphere & stylish Oriental decor. We didn't have reservations yet were able to sit at the bar. Kevin, our Bartender/Server extended us such amazing & engaging service during our first visit here. All the staff we encountered offered the same welcoming service. The seating options vary; main dining area with booths & tables, the spacious bar & private dining upstairs. The food menu offers shareable selections providing a great way to try different dishes. The Vegan options are plenty (about 6-7 offerings) - I had an order of Spring Rolls to hold me over. My Brother had the Basil Chicken in a garlic & lightly sweet sauce & puff rice. The curated menu of libations includes unique cocktails & a few high-quality wines & beers. Overall the menus had a flexible price point, especially for a small party of 2-3. They offer Half-off Bottle of Wines on Mondays. Reservations are limited to 90 minutes & the patio tables are limited to 2-4 guests. Street parking or Valet for $5 which is located in the parking garage next door.

What can I say about this place, fairly surprised when I walked in! I assumed it was going to be very low-key dining experience. however, the other patrons were a bit more dressed. It’s a perfect place for a date night, but I still didn’t feel out of place because it’s still a casual dining experience. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. We didn’t have a reservation, but the hostess was very sweet and so we decided to sit at the bar. usually I do not like sitting at the bar if I’m not alone however, the bartenders that night really made my night made a great experience overall. We definitely will be going back soon and making this our go to place for great cocktails and bites!

This place is gorgeous! They definitely put a lot of thought into the vibe of this place! The food was AMAZING. It's asian tapas-style, so you can order a couple of items, which gives you a chance to try several things from the menu. Prices are on par with the area, and perfect for a nice dinner location. Only thing I didn't like was the margarita. It was very floral-tasting, had no taste of tequila, and didn't have a salted rim glass. I sent it back and got the Empress, which was DELICIOUS! Wait staff were very nice and attentive. Only issue was about 30 minutes before their closing, our waitress started to get an attitude with us because we told her we were celebrating a birthday and asked if they did anything for it. She replied with a very condescending, "yeah. What flavor ice cream do you want?" I just didn't appreciate the attitude. I get it, it was almost closing, but it also takes 2 seconds to scoop some ice cream in a bowl. Also, she should've already known we were celebrating since she had brought over a bottle of champagne to our group (it was said that it was for a birthday) while we waited to be seated. Overall, the experience was great and I would definitely go back!

Amazing food and a super cute interior. I loved all the dishes we tried...bone marrow, walnut shrimp, shrimp dumplings, pork belly with grits, sizzling beef ...everything was tasty! The drinks were excellent. The lychee drink that I was was refreshing and tasty! The desserts were fabulous. I loved the earl grey tea brulee and the mango sticky rice a bit the chocolate cake was amazing!!

Service was fantastic. Atmosphere has a bit speakeasy vibes with all windows covered. But cozy interior. Food was however just ok. Don’t order caviar if you want more than just a snort portion… nothing was impressive or delicious - just solid. A bit overrated IMO

I had an excellent dinner at Ruby Chow’s. There are so many delicious options to choose from. I had an array from the menu but some of the highlights were the Peking Duck Mantou, the Sweet Corn Soup, and the Mango Sticky Rice. My server was attentive and kind— the ambience has a chill, upscale atmosphere that makes for a pleasant date night. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough— there are so many other dishes I want to try when I return!! While definitely on the expensive side, it well worth it for a great experience and delicious meal.

WOW! We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant. From the atmosphere, to the service, and the impeccable food! They have delicious cocktails, hot tea & a menu of unique tapas style appetizers. I wish we could have tried them all! The bone marrow is a MUST have, both of our favorites hands down. We also went for the Brussels sprouts & Shaking Beef. We sat at the bar on a Friday night and the woman behind the bar (I’ve forgotten her name) was very knowledgeable and attentive. This was the perfect spot for us before a concert in Atlanta. Highly recommend, what a unique, delicious and wonderful experience!

This is one of the best restaurants that I’ve dined in so far! If you’re visiting Atlanta, you should definitely give it a try! The staff was super nice, and the food was incredibly scrumptious. My favorite dish was the ‘Roasted Bone Marrow.' It’s a must try!

Everything here is full of flavor and worth every penny. I couldn’t help but order nearly half the menu. Absolute must-haves are the pork belly grits and the sake butter mussels. The mango sticky rice is the perfect dessert to finish up with. Inside is colorful while still maintaining a laid back atmosphere with the lighting. The staff is attentive and incredibly helpful. Definitely a favorite of mine in Atlanta.

We went to Ruby Chows to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation so we had to sit at the bar. But, it was fortunate that we sat at the bar because our bartender was AWESOME! He was very attentive to our needs. Explained stuff on the menu and, best of all, he put together some mocktails for us as we both don't drink alcohol. Both drinks were wonderful. We ordered the scallops, walnut shrimp and basil chicken. The chicken was a Lillie boring to me but the hubby liked it. I like the scallops and the shrimp. We topped off the meal with the pot au creame which was a decedent chocolate bowl of wonderfulness.

Parking: The valet parking area is small. Our reservation was at 10:15pm and valet didn’t have any room for additional cars. There was no parking available on the street. We ended up parking about 1/2 block down at Southern Dairies overflow lot. For 2 hours it was $5 Vibe: Loved it. Food: My husband really liked the Brussels sprouts. He enjoyed the Katsu buns but thinks the meat could’ve had a bit more flavor. I have celiac and they were very accommodating. Although the options were limited they were tasty. I was able to have the seared scallops, crispy rice salad, squash soup and mango sorbet. The menu isn’t huge but it was tasty. The soup was tasty, the crispy rice salad was interesting. I think if it had some sort of meat with it then it would’ve been way better. I did enjoy the seared scallops. I ended up ordering 2 plates of them. Staff: CASSIDY!!!! I absolutely loved her. She was EXTRA accommodating. When I asked about gluten free options she asked if I had celiac and immediately went into finding the best way to accommodate my food sensitivity. She made sure that I was taken care of. She was amazing. Thank you so much Cassidy 🤗 I will definitely visit again because I really liked the vibe.

This place is beautiful. The food was decent. Small portions, very over priced in my opinion. I'm glad I tried it but I probably won't return. I found it very strange that they charged extra for the baguette that comes with the bone marrow. It says it comes together in the description of the dish.

Everything was delicious. The crispy rice salad, tomago egg with caviar, and It All Falls Down cocktail were heavenly. Ashley, our server, was a delight!!!!! Thank you!

Really cool vibe for a restaurant- both inside and outside (though the inside is way cooler). The menu had a lot of great options- including vegan/vegetarian options as well. Consider this more of an Asian tapas place- sharing a lot of smaller plates instead of doing individual meals. We got the coconut corn soup (really good), General Tso's vegetarian chicken (awesome), and the crispy rolls among other things and really enjoyed it all

The Interesting bright decor like walking into a movie stet - strong colors with contrasts. A few dishes were very unique - The duck buns and spicy noodle were pretty good.

I didn’t take any pictures of the food but I really enjoyed the decor, atmosphere, service and the food. We were a party of 5 and sat in the corner booth. The food is either entree style or tapas style (small plates). We opted for the small plates. Most got 3 plates and were stuffed, I got two and felt satisfied. My order would have come up to about $35 but we had to split the bill so it was more like $46 or $47. Our waitress provided a great experience, she was absolutely delightful. Walking into this place was like walking onto a movie set, or through a time warp and being transported to another locale. It was giving vintage Chinatown vibes mixed in with mid century modern, and grown and sexy all in one. We loved the dark and moody colors and the intimate setting. There is a parking deck in the back that you can park in and walk through a beautiful courtyard to the restaurant. If you arrive early like I did at opening, you can scan the QR code on the wall and pay - I think I paid less than $5 (2 hours and we ended up staying for 3). I think the valet was late on the day I came so not sure how much that would have been. All things considered, I would recommend checking it out but bring cash if you are going with a group so you don’t end up trying to figure out how to pay for more than you planned 😳🫢.

Ordered the Peking Duck steamed bun, Seared Scallops, General Tso's Chicken, Pow Pow Shrimp, Sake Butter Mussels, and Fried Oysters. Everything was delicious, my favorites were the Pow Pow Shrimp & the Sake Butter Mussels. The customer service was really good, there was always someone checking on us to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed.

An excellent meal from start to finish in a very attractive setting. The ambiance is perfect. The cocktails are very tasty, the steam buns are excellent, and the basil chicken is a winner. The mango sticky rice is a lovely way to end the night as well. That being said, the highlight of the experience was the lovely waitress Ashley, who was so authentically friendly and bursting with enthusiasm. She made pleasant conversation through the meal, was efficient, and made great recommendations as well. Superlative!
