We had the BEST dinner at Tropical Flava!! We ordered the oxtail entree, jerk tofu entree, coco bread. All of our food was so flavorful and so so good! You can tell that the chefs put a lot of love into their food—it really felt authentic and homemade. They also gave us samples of all their natural drinks that are made in house (all delicious btw) and we decided on the cucumber/lime and natural fruit punch. Another thing we loved was the service. Everyone here is so friendly and treats you like family. I liked the feel of the restaurant; it’s set up like a lot of other Haitian & Caribb places I’ve been to. I felt like I was almost on vacation—somewhere totally away from Macon. Truly one of the best Caribbean spots I’ve tried in a while :)

Now this is a (Jamaican) Caribbean restaurant,have definitely done it the meal was absolutely delicious, all the flavors in place. It was very close to the different meals I had in Jamaica. And the folks over there do it a year long and atheist 7 days a week. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice the table setting was like a wedding reception. The wait staff was exceptionally professional, And definitely on top of the game.. Looking forward to patronizing this establishment in the near future.

Stopped in for lunch and had large portions of delicious food. The special was beef stew over rice which my husband had. My daughters had Jerk Chicken and Oxtail. I had Curry Goat. They let us sit outside and it was a pleasant day.

Do not eat here! I have eaten here plenty of times prior to them changing location and the establishment was excellent! Unfortunately, that is no more. I came here to order oxtails, but instead received neckbones. I know what an oxtail bone looks like and apparently someone has cut them to try to mimic the look of an oxtail. The meat is even the consistency of a neckbone (shreddy and tough). I will NEVER come here again! It is bad business and everyone can’t eat pork due to religious and health reasons. Food was delicious! I had jerk tofu, didn't know that existed! My husband had jerk chicken. Delicious! You can byob too! Prices very reasonable. Sweet staff too!

Tropical Flava is de truth! They bring the Caribbean to Central Georgia! I'm there monthly and everything is always fresh and blesses my soul. YUM, YUM, YUM 😋

I have to put this restaurant in the top 2% of Jamaican restaurants I've eaten at in the past 10 years. Restaurant was a nice environment staff was overwhelmingly professional. Only question I have is why the setup looked like it was set up for wedding reception. All the food was outstanding from the esco beach to to the curry goat and and also the jerk chicken, all was own point in flavor. Although although looking at the picture of the jerk chicken jerk chicken easily mistaken for Brown stew chicken. Through my visits to Jamaica I'd never saw jerk chicken look like this through my visits. And it is a family owned location as well. Oh. Looking forward to visiting this establishment in the near future again.

This Caribbean Restaurant is the most exquisite Gem hidden in Macon Ga. Awesome flavourful cuisine is quite delicious. Curry Goat is always my favorite. The serving size was just right topped of with the most outstanding presentation. We enjoyed every bit of our meal. The last time we were there, a few years back, we ordered Snapper Fish; and of course that too was absolutely tasty.

AMAZING! Normally I don’t leave reviews but this place just amazed us, We order a big fried fish, it comes with a super tasty sides.. the quality, the freshness and the FLAVOR was just sooo good, my husband and I just keep talking about how good it was all the time, plus they are very welcoming and the service was just out of norm in a positive way. Desert is very good too.

We ordered the oxtail, and the curry chicken! All of the meat just fell off the bone! James and his team really take pride in this beautiful restaurant! The hospitality, the food, the atmosphere, everything was a 10/10! If you’re in the area, you really need to stop by and enjoy what this place has to offer!

Very good food and great customer service. Coming from a Jamaican family , having eaten lots of Jamaican food and visiting lots of Jamaican restaurants I was very pleased with Tropical Flava. Sometimes in Jamaican restaurants it's hard to find good customer service, but everyone here was very attentive and welcoming. I had the curry goat and my husband had stew chicken. They were both delicious and we both had enough to take home.

Omg!!! My mother and I were driving thru from florida to ohio. We were so glad to stop at this place. The food was incredibly delicious...the dining area was like walking into a wedding. Each table had a beautiful flower centerpiece. I recommend the goat curry. So so good.

The staff here is the absolute best! I went to Tropical Flava for the first time today, & I was not disappointed. The food is incredible!! I will definitely be going back.

Tropical Flava restaurant is located in a quaint community and the food is delicious the escovitch fish, oxtail, curry goat are all my favorites. They have Jamaican Pattie’s,coco bread and natural juices.The owner James and his staff are all friendly and the the quality of the food will keep you going back. I am new to Macon and it is my favorite spot to go out and eat on the weekends with my husband. I would recommend Tropical Favor the service is good and the owner is people friendly so you will feel at home while enjoying a great meal and environment!

I happened to be in Macon picking up my husband due to an issue with his company truck. We started looking for a place to have dinner as soon as I picked him up. We found this spot on Google. We're vegans so, we automatically went for the tofu. I got Jerk Tofu & Fried Plantains, & he got the Stir Fried Tofu & Fries (Chips). Both of us got the Pineapple & Ginger juice that is freshly made on location. Robert, our waiter is super friendly, tuned in, & tapped in. He spoke more in depth with us about a few things & had us try a few more fresh juices. We'll be back in Macon to pick up my husband's truck, and I want to come back here when we do. The portions are plentiful, & we had to take to go boxes, & the place makes me feel like I'm on vacation. I already dance if the food is good so the soca & reggae playing in the background had me singing along & moving a little more than normal, like I do when I'm in my car. This was definitely a good find.

This is a nice place in a decent location for Macon. I ordered oxtails meal, the food was nice and neat in the plate and it was also a heavy plate. However the meat was a bit dry as well as the cabbage I also noticed at the bottom of the oxtails beef bones I’m assuming because it wasn’t oxtails. I didn’t really taste the rich Caribbean flavor but it was ok for a meal on a Sunday.

Staple in the community. Staff was very polite and informative. The love and attention they provide their regulars was a pleasant surprise. You don't see that type of service anymore. Food was very good. True limeade!! It's not Caribbean if they don't. I had oxtail, mac n cheese, and cabbage which was amazing!! Definitely will be back.

I love this place!!! Every time I come I am satisfied!! Great food and great vibes!!! This was our to go boxes. There was no lack in the amount of food we received.

So so good. I’m no food critic, I just like to feel welcomed, eat a great meal and the environment to be pleasant. Tropical flava checked all the boxes. The food was delicious, ox tail and curry chicken was well spiced, very tender and so very good. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant itself inviting. We will def go back.

Haven’t been here in years, but what a magnificent feast. Great customer service, food and atmosphere. Will definitely be back to get my oxtail fix.
