My, no our experience here was wonderful!!! Food was great and service was excellent. I don't think Randy the owner has ever met a stranger. From the time you enter and the time you are seated you are made to feel so very welcome. I'm from St. Louis , it's been a couple years since the last time we've been here. Randy the owner remembered us! We were made to feel special the first time we were here. This time felt like we were having dinner at mom's house. You know the feeling, everything is just right served up with a lot of attentiveness and love, Good conversation and lots of laughs. The special occasion of meeting my Son in-laws family for the first time was made to be even more special because of Randy and the good food and great service here at Arepita Cafe.

Everything was Delicious! Vegan choice a plenty, our waiter, Marco was so kind and made the best suggestions. We had the vegan empanadas, lentils ( OMG I'm asking for extra mushrooms next time. had I know they were going to be that delicious 😋.), And the corn fritter pancake stuffed with veggies. And my husband had the shredded chicken wit black beans and rice 🤤 he left nothing behind. 😂

This restaurant truly is amazing! If you haven't tried Venezuelan food before, then give them a go, they will not disappoint. Great ambiance, awesome service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had the Cachapa con Pernil, which is the pork in the corn pancake with a side of plantains and it was delicious. Thank you for accommodating our large group. We had a fantastic time eating and learning about Venezuelan food.

Very nice place to pick up or eat in. I ordered the arroz con pollo and the empanada trio to go. The food was very tasty. Especially the rice which was seasoned well with the chicken. The tree flavored empanadas came with a good little dipping sauce as well which was good. It was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I will definitely be back!

Great local Venezuelan Cafe. We went out on a limb and tried this place and it was a gem. Small, intimate and definitely authentic. Service was fast, prices were reasonable and the food was terrific. The hot sauce and tartar style sauce were delicious. We found a new local gem.

STILL OPEN AND FANTASTIC!! (a reviewer said it was closed) This place has wonderful ambiance, service and food!! If you love to taste authentic food from around the world, you must put this place on your list to visit. I had the Venezuelan sampler and the Cachapa con Pernil. The savory pork was the best I’ve ever had. The guayanés cheese is so unique and delicious! I promise, you’ll love it! Tell Maria and Marco I said, “hola”!

As Venezuelan living in USA sometimes i miss our home food. I think is the best authentic Venezuelan food in Atlanta. The server is courteous and friendly and food excellent quality. The atmosphere is warm and make me feel like in home. As usual I come at Christmas season to enjoy our typical “Plato Navideño” Christmas Plate (Hallaca Chicken Salad Pork and Ham Bread. Also I drink a very cold most famous Venezuelan Beer Polar, and after lunch a typical cappuccino coffee. Prices are according to the food quality & service.

Super delicious food. We had a huge steak platter cooked to perfection. Our waitress was also very nice and the dish she recommended (it was this savory corn and pork dish) was actually addictive.

D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. I would recommend this place 100% Such a nice environment, great service and delicious food. My mother and I drove happy back home to Tennessee. Marco gave us great menu suggestions and even provided a small Chicha taste. (hope I got it right) Thank you so much. We’ll be back

We love this restaurant! The atmosphere is nice, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, such a great variety, everything very fresh. In addition, I have a gluten allergy and lactose intolerance, they are well versed in accommodating this and have many GF/DF menu options. Also a dedicated fryer, so I can have French fries. Great spot for lunch or dinner!

Arepita cafe was absolutely delicious. The customer service was top tier. The food was so good I do not remember my service name, but he was very professional with explaining what sauces go on what the flavors very detailed and informative about what we were eating and trying for the first time, it was an awesome experience. I will definitely be taking my family and friends back to this place.

Food is so good! Love the sauces they bring out. They have seafood & vegan options a plenty! Personally, I really enjoy the avocado cilantro sauce- it's the best on the arepas. If you've never had Venezuelan food- try it! The arepa is similar to a sandwich- where the contents are lined into a fried pastry. There's a lot to try! The tostones are good too- pairs well with any of the sauces. Great service, answers all your questions, food is delicious.

This place was so yummy at a great price point. Staff was very friendly and you can tell the food is made with love. Met the owner while eating. Will definitely return. This is the plantain dish that they offer. Can’t remember the name.
