This was such an awesome place to hike around and see some history and cute animals. My wife and I spent a couple of hours here and had a blast!

My new favourite nature spot in Georgia! There’s sooo much to explore: historic dwellings, pristine forest trails, monkey statues, wild deer, farm animals you can feed for 25c, butterfly garden, fairy houses, farming museum, visitors centre with exotic animals (snakes, turtles, frogs, salamanders, fish), craft activities for kids. So happy to spend a wonderful day here!

This is a cool little park. The trails are nice, not crowded, and have good views. Monkey Massacre Memorial is interesting. Cool little history area. The only downfall is that the bridges are poor shape in areas. With all the money John's Creek community has, I was disappointed to see the trail needs so much maintenance.

Absolutely amazing and a must do if you are in the area. They have mr.pebbles a 20 yo African tortoise and a few snakes and reptiles that have been donated to the Center. They have the cellphone enabled guided tours which was very interesting. Thought there were no butterflies in the butterfly garden it was stil cute and we got to see the goats outside. They also have food there that you can purchase to feed the animals. I would definitely come back!!

Pleasant feelings after visiting this nature preserve park. Very quiet and peaceful environment. Full of long trees with small bridges along the trails. Two tree different trails are there. We walk through just one trail. Direction Signs are not visible and accurate. Scenic views are scattered on this park small water creeks are there. Not children friendly and stroller friendly trails. If you need quite environment and peaceful atmosphere must visit this park.

Really beautiful and quaint place to get out into nature on some wonderful hiking trails. This was a great Sunday afternoon experience. We decided to go for a walk and we were greeted with a large amount of free parking. There were loads of things to see including animals like bunnies, chickens, goats and white geese. There was a visitor center which details the 46 acre facility. There are loads of walking trail paths through the forest. I can be easy to get lost but all the trails connect eventually so it's not too confusing. Take some dirty shoes on wet days as some paths a flooded out. We really enjoyed crossing the river on the rocks. The bathrooms here were also really beautiful. Lots of modern tile work and clean stalls. Working sinks, dryers, and water fountains. Overall kids would love this place. Its a lot of exploration including the butterfly gardens and nature.

It is a beautiful area. Seems pretty well maintained. Only downfall in my opinion are all the tree roots coming up in the way of the paths. Makes it difficult to see the beauty of the area and pay attention to every step in most areas on the trails.

This is a very enjoyable place for an open door outing with the kids. It has a lot of things to see and tell stories about. We really enjoyed the animals, especially feeding the goats. Also the snakes were very interesting to see. I'd highly recommend if you have kids.

We love our tree mill. We recently scheduled a Homeschool field trip here and it was so wonderful! The presenter was kind knowledgeable and super friendly to all the kids. I would definitely recommend taking a field trip here and even if you don’t get a group together it’s still a wonderful place to just visit by itself go for a hike feed the goats, etc..

We visited this place during our visit to Norcross. Beautiful location with nice nature trails to explore the flora and fauna. Kids will enjoy the live wildlife exhibits inside the visitor center and other animal exhibits outside. Also, learn about heritage and history by visiting the various buildings and farm museum on site which has been maintained very well.

The goats and walking trails are lovely. The pollinator garden is a great idea, but can’t quite be considered a garden yet. I’m not sure why they stopped taking care of the kids play area, but I suspect it’s COVID related. It was wonderful 1-2 years ago, however most, if not all, of the play elements are broken and quite frankly, dangerous.

Cool nature center with a multitude of activity cottages and trails to spend a day with the little ones. The main visitors center has an indoor center with aquariums of fishes and local animals, the highlight being the tortoise. There is also some gigantic bunnies and chickens to view. To the side is an outdoor campfire circle and we liked viewing the old equipment in the small farm museum.

This is a hidden gem. I have been here twice and each time I saw something different. When walking the trails be careful of the tree roots in the path. This is a wonderful alternative to the playground. You and the children learn and embrace the beauty of nature while getting some exercise. I’m looking forward to walking the trails this fall when the leaves are gone.

We love this beautiful place for the nature and history. It's a great walk, easy for families. We were lucky to get a tour of some of the buildings like the Green store. It was amazing to see so many items from the past, some of the brands still exist today. Liza was fabulous, so friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to ask questions that she was happy to answer. Our family learned so much with this visit. I would definitely recommend walking this trail and getting the tour. If you're lucky you might get Liza.

I went here for a location with different backgrounds for a shoot. It was great! There are bathrooms, easy parking, and different looks! I plan on coming back with my son and visiting with the animals. Thank you Autrey Mill Nature preserve!

Nice historic cottages and nature. Small collection of farm animals. Butterfly garden and vegetable garden could use a little more attention.

Very cool nature center with a good selection of reptiles in the visitor center, along with some chickens, goats, ducks and rabbits. There are several cool spots along the nature trail to stop, some dispensers to feed the animals(bring quarters!) and a butterfly garden, there were monarch caterpillars all over the milkweed when we visited. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, great place to take kids.

What a little gem within Johns Creek. Affordable educational experience for kids & adults. The grounds have a historic home for weddings & events pictured above. Sweet Winnie, their opossum mascot. Ducks, bunnies, goats & gardens ready to burst in spring. We met knowledgeable staff. They have a helper of animals on the grounds who has bonded with the animals greatly & rehabilitates species too. Kids were engaged & loved exploring the grounds.

Great park for a hike or picnic. Interesting historic buildings. They also have a farming museum and a nature center with aquariums w native fish, turtles, and other reptiles. They do a lot of events for children as well as adults. They also have event space for rent. One of the best kept secret special places in Johns Creek.

Great place for a day hike in the hot summer. Longest trail is about 1.5 miles. Terrain is mostly level and the the best aspect is it's 99% shaded. When it's summer time HOT, this is nice. There's more trails that cris-cross the main trail. Also has a visitor center, rest rooms and a few historic buildings to check out.

I love this place! Went in the morning, saw goats, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and wild deer on the trail!!!! It was magical experience. Bring quarters if you want to feed the goats for the feeder.

Such a wonderful area and the environment is phenomenal for families and pets! The staff is super nice and helpful. The property is kept clean and the restrooms are very clean - so feel safe using them. My family visits every weekend and will continue to!

The diverse array of wildlife and lush greenery left me in awe. The well-maintained trails provided easy access to explore and appreciate the wonders of nature.
