Very disappointing.... recommended by nice people in Osaka. Depressed cook and the worst food we have eaten in Japan and reluctant to hand over change until prompted. Beer good but don't go.

Great little spot in the Katamachi area of Kanazawa. Excellent selection of craft beer, and a good range of small dishes. Very friendly staff, albeit not much English - but, more than enough to get you served!

Nice local craft beer place in middle of korimbo. Beer master has great selection of Japanese and American beers, and the food is excellent for a bar this small. Great place to hang-out on a weekend and mix with the locals. Staff has limited english, but always someone in the beer crowd will have enough to help have conversation, and beer names and styles are in english so easy to pick something.

Great beers. Yes all in japanese. But 1 thru to 8 gets you great beers :)

Like going to a craft beer bar in Tokyo … in 2009. Cool if you enjoy time traveling. A bit depressing if not. Selection was B-list Japanese breweries, and a C-list import, all served up in terrible glassware. The guy behind the bar was friendly enough, but didn’t seem very interested in his job. Not the worst bar I’ve been to, but trying hard to get there.

This place is a must stop for me everytime I come to Kanazawa. The owner is super cool, the beer is always changing, the food is filling, and most importantly, the beer is always great.

Great little place close to downtown. I'm not sure what the English ability is at this joint, but they do have a good selection of beers. Extensive food menu, all in Japanese. There was a giant hunk of cured meat available for slicing the last time I was there. It's not a large place, so any party over 4 might be difficult.

No own CB, and even local CB choice is limited. Temperature control isn't great.

A definite favorite! Always a great variety of local and imported beers from around Japan, awesome food, and the owner is kind and always happy to engage with customers. Affordable, fun, and delicious, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Must visit! Awesome small bites made from open “kitchen” and well curated small selection of local and foreign craft beers on tap.

Compared to what we have seen from Japan, this small bar has twise (even more) the prices of others much more worth it places to visit. In the bar there was no music, we ordered two glasses of beer and since there is no English menu, we were super surprised when we payed in the end about 3000 yena for this two glasses. Compared to the dinner we just had for about 5000 yenas with sashimi and everything, this experience was rather disappointing for us. Yet the first one in Japan :) The prices were written in arabic numericals on the board so it was not a scam I think, but the prices of the beer (regular one) in the other restaurants was 3 times lower, so we thought there was something that we can not completely understand and that is why we decided to give it a try though. The beer was tasty, but definitely doesn't worth the price.

Small bar so it's a bit of bother getting a seat. Small selection of beers, but mostly pretty good. Didn't try the food but it looked decent.

Good beers and gyoza but definitely not worth the price. Prices for a Pint are much more expensive than the prices displayed in the menu. Make sure to ask for price, if you are going anyway. Disappointing experience.
