Hello! I just want to share my positive experience with crazy glaze! I contacted the owner about kilning some handmade pieces, I started ceramics as a hobby recently and they were so kind to help me through the process and advise me on what to purchase and how to go about making my first few ceramic pieces. I have just gotten my first batch back and they looked wonderful and were handled with care. I am so excited to continue working with them! Thank you so much Rachel and the staff at Crazy Glaze!

My daughter and I went to crazy glaze and had a mommy daughter day. She had the best time painting and I thought it to be very relaxing. You sit, paint and they do all the clean up. Looking forward to seeing our finished pieces.

Quick turnaround time but was disappointed with the lack of inventory. My rec is to remove pieces off the shelf if they are not available for the moment. It was frequent enough that I struggled to find an alternative. That said, I like the results!

Awesome studio for everyone to get creative! Rachael and her staff make it fun and easy to tap into your inner artist. Love that they offer Girl Scout and other group activities.

Very poor selection. Unless you want to paint something for Christmas or Halloween at the end of December. We chose “wood” pieces. They are fine selling you damaged pieces for $30. If I’m going to pay $30 it shouldn’t be damaged at all. I didn’t notice the damage until I had started painting the middle of my sun. Since I had started I had to accept their flawed material. She told me they couldn’t use it as a sample because I had started to make it my own already. That was the most absurd reasoning I’ve heard. I was told if I wanted to buy another $30 piece of cheap material I could. Was it a major defect, no. It was the principle and the price I had to pay. I’ve never had a small business refuse to right their product error. Honestly I was in shock at this customer service. We will never return or attend their camps.

Celebrated my daughter's 8th bday here. MacKenzie and her coworker went above and beyond to make our day over the top special. MacKenzie was attentive, gracious and absolutely lovely to my precious daughter. Their extra effort made me and my daughter so happy. They truly blessed us, and I will NEVER forget all they did for us. Thank you MacKenzie you don't know how much your kindness means to me as a mom. I pray absolutely abundant blessings upon you. You have a genuine heart and it shows. Don't let anyone steal that from you.

We stopped by to paint pottery yesterday. The studio was clean, tables had fun designs, and staff person was pleasant. However, the selection of pottery pieces to paint was very slim, we looked around but there wasn't much to choose from and nothing that interested my daughter so we left and went to another studio.

Not a good selection of pieces and they are unbelievably expensive; almost double the price of other pottery painting studios. You’d be better off going to Color Me Mine in Cary.

Today me and my partner visited Crazy Glaze and we were really impressed! Highly recommend. Staff was so helpful and kind to us about the process. Atmosphere is really relaxed and nice. Some other reviews complain about price- to give you an idea, we both painted mugs and they were about $35 each. There is no additional charge for glazes or supplies either. Glaze isn’t cheap, and the staff also has to apply a clear glaze on your piece after you’ve had your fun. Therefore, the price is really fair, especially because you’re not on a time limit, and you’re not limited with the amount of glaze colors you can use. At the end of the day, this is a small business with a really unique concept and caring employees. It’s worth a visit! The only thing I will add is it is a little warm in the shop. I recommend wearing comfy clothes and avoiding layers just in case it’s on the toasty side! We can’t wait to see how our pieces turn out :)

So much fun! The only person who might enjoy going here more than my son is me! This is the perfect time of year to go too (spring). The little printable pieces make great Mother's day or teacher gifts.

I love bringing my kids here to paint. The employees are helpful, there is a good variety of pieces to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. Everything is well organized and the staff takes care of cleaning up the paint supplies.
