Very clean and accessible for a starting gym. Limited options as far as free weights but it has every cable machine option and more. The benches are almost always full but a few minutes wait can get you one. Lots of cardio options and a big drink vending machine if you need them.

I would say a good 30+ treadmills, super spacious, an equipment for any exercise you can think off, free weights, and giant life fitness pf 360 machine with rubber band available. It's the biggest planet fitness I've seen. Just opened too. So everything is new!

I've been going to this one for about 3 weeks. Love how spacious & clean. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Lots of equipment to choose from. Also the tanning beds are great. And can't fail to mention I really love how their hydromassage beds are set up in a very relaxing dimly lit area that helps unwind from the workout. Definitely a 5 star place⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is my home location and overall it's a good location compared to others across the country that I've been to. The equipment and gym is always clean and the staff are friendly. Also the locker rooms are a decent size and the showers are nice with their glass doors. The bathrooms are typically clean so no complaints there. The only thing worth noting is other locations have the round foam rollers which would be nice if this location could get some. Also while the equipment works most of the time some of their machines are showing their age and occasionally are broken. Not worth taking a star off for the machines though because they fix them pretty fast. I would still highly recommend this location.

I went in to try to sign up. The guy up front was extremely short and rude. He was unwilling to help me with the signup process. When I filled out my information and it wasn't working, I went back to him to say that it wasn't and he said "oh ok well I can't help you". So I asked if I could just pay for a single day and that I would like to try again after my workout he again said "no I can't help you" and walked away from me. Honestly the rudest person I've met in a very long time. NOT COMING BACK

Clean, well maintained, friendly staff and always lots of equipment for sharing. My only request would be some adjustments to the massage chairs. I’m a petite woman and the back rollers knock my skull!

I have been a member of Planet Fitness since 2009, I’ve been to almost every single gym in the Carolinas, and I have to say this one is clean most the time and some of the staff are friendly, it lacks a mature leadership and diligence on the floor. The amount of highschoolers they allow in to just goof around eat food on the floor and play on their phones instead of working out is ridiculous. The workers seem extremely indifferent as most of them are highschoolers as well. Leadership needs to pay attention more instead of talking with highschoolers on the floor. Don’t plan on a quick easy workout if you come after 3 PM as the gym fills up with highschoolers who like to abuse the equipment without repercussion, and generally disrupt the people there who are actually trying to work out.

Me, my fiancé and my best friend love working out here. People are great. Staff are great and we really appreciate everything.

You can workout within a large arena and still have the privacy... the equipments are great and cater to all gym needs . There is something for all levels of gym goers

Planet Fitness is awesome - I would give them 5 stars but there’s a couple small things that I feel like would make a huge difference. Personally I feel like a pure squat rack (not a smith machine) would be a huge asset - I know PF’s main audience is Cardio-centric and most of them don’t want to lift traditional weights but it would open you guys up to a lot of new people. They are so heavily focused on cardio and having tons of machines, which is good, but I think you could stand to remove some to make room for 2 squat racks. There are like 20 treadmills, 20 ellipticals, and 20 bikes just in the front area. The only other thing is towels. I’ve been fortunate enough to be supplied with a towel at every gym I’ve ever been a member of and while I know PF is a more budget-friendly gym, they should have the option at least for Black Card Members. Remembering to bring a towel is a pain and no one wants to pay $4 for a branded one. Aside from that PF is awesome and this location especially, it’s always super clean and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being there.

This planet fitness location is pretty nice, they have a good 30-min circuit, a lot of nice cable machines. Tons of cardio and aerobics machines, i love the stair master. The regular and the water massage chairs are nice (if you have a black card). This location is kept very nice and clean.

Massage area and locker rooms the best area in the entire building because the AC is actually on. Inside the gym itself, it’s literally 100 degrees because they have the heat on. It’s like working out in a sauna.

I honestly haven't been in months, to much cardio and not enough options for weight lifting. Also swarming with high-school children who just literally hang out around one machine the entire night.

UPDATED 10/15/2024 I love how clean the gym, ladies restroom, and hydro-massage beds are. All of the staff is wonderful especially Cara, Chance, Katie, Beth, and Jeremy. I also really like the fact that PF in Fuquay is very community oriented. Among some of what do is they took up donations to help the NC people impacted by Hurricane Helene, sponsor blood drives, and allow teenagers to go to the gym from June - August at no charge. I try to get to the gym 5-7 days a week and I really enjoy the atmosphere here. Great Job Cara and Team!!!!!!!!! Updated 3/28/2024 I come to PF in Fuquay Varina almost every day. Cara, the manager, is great. She can be found on the floor cleaning, checking out machines, and behind the desk ensuring everything is running smoothly. Her staff is also great and I want to give a shout out to Chance, Shamyla, and Trevon! Excellent customer service and I look forward to coming as often as I can. Updated 12/26/2023 I really do enjoy working out at PF in Fuquay Varina. Cara, the manager, and all staff are wonderful, especially Tia, Jeremy, Chance, and Shamyla. Location seems to hold it's own. I like doing long endurance workouts that burn calories.

Clean facility with all the usual PF equipment and friendly staff. I work out around 5:30am and it's busy but equipment is available with little to no wait other than the smith machines on occasion. The only bad thing about this PF is the parking lot. The lines are all faded and there are some bad potholes.

Some of the male staff are rude and seem to have a power complex. .. sometimes people will tell me they are too busy to let me do longer than a 10 minute hydromassage and then when I get back there the room is totally empty

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Planet Fitness for the first time, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which made me feel comfortable right away. The facilities were also very clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. I enjoyed the variety of equipment and classes available, which allowed me to switch up my routine and try new things. And perhaps most importantly, the membership fees were very affordable, which made it easy for me to commit to a regular workout routine. Overall, I had a great experience at Planet Fitness and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality gym experience.

Unfortunately, during the summer the gym is overrun with high schoolers and people who are not respectful. This planet fitness location is nice, what I don’t like is the costumer service, they charged my card twice right after downgrading my membership. I did pay the fee for downgrading but they also charged $25 for the old membership and $10 for the current one. It’s hard to get to talk to someone who can really make a decision and fix this issue. Over the phone they were telling me that I should talk to the manager at this location (Fuquay-Varina) and I did, now he (Adrian) is saying that I need to talk to another manager. Long story short I have been back and forth but no one seems to help me and apparently I’ll be paying for two membership unless I cancel it. This sucks !!!!

Well, I ended up after joining after getting a tour by Tia. She was pretty knowledgeable about what equipment did and kept in lighthearted. I spent my first visit trying out the treadmill, and in the back, they have a bunch of equipment that works out about every muscle group by going station to station in 30 minutes. It must have worked because every muscle in my body is a little sore.. lol. I'm taking today off and going back tomorrow.

I like this PF. I do go at night so my experiences may not be the same as everybody else’s. But it is always clean and there’s never any weight for machines. There’s also a pretty diverse crowd, even at night, so if you’re shy, you’ll feel more comfortable.

This gym is very clean and they're constantly patrolling the cleaning stations to replenish paper towels and spray. The staff is super friendly every day I go. The equipment is pretty well maintained but they really need to lubricate everything more, especially the benches. They are quick to respond to reports though so let them know if anything is wrong. The locker rooms are clean and maintained well. Overall I am happy with them.

Solid all-around fitness center. Really good for cardio (lots of machines) and sufficient for basic resistance training. Hardcore weigh-lifters might want to find a gym more suited to weight-training since this place only has smith-rack machines (no barbell bench presses; though it does have loose benches for dumb-bells). Otherwise I dig the casual vibe, it is CLEAN, and the staff are friendly.

My son who's 12 can't sit in the lobby to do his homework while I work out because they say he's not a member, and is to young to sit in a lobby. Which makes no sense cause I'm a member. My son has more maturity in him then some of the clowns that walk in there, joke around and use the equipment wrong. When I asked to provide policy on this, they couldn't provide. As a single full time parent this is not fair. For anyone in my shoes, Gold's Gym in Fuquay has a great deal on memberships and has a kids club that stays open till 8pm and is also a 24 hour gym now. They also will allow your kids to workout with you at age 12 along with training programs. Alot more weights and selection to choose from for your workouts as well. I thought Planet Fitness claims it's a judgement free zone, well you passed judgement on my son when we walked in the door and you have lost my membership and will be cancelling.

The bros don't like this place because there are no free weights and bars. Anything else that you could ever need is here with generally plenty of room to do your own thing. Great price for plenty of equipment.

I cancelled my membership the way I was told to do it. Was told by an employee it was received and successfully cancelled. Then I see a monthly charge and a late fee charge on my account. I call the store and get told by a woman she never received my letter, she's the ONLY person who checks the mail (ok right) and I have the wrong numbers on file for my card so they couldn't charge my monthly fee that's why I get a late one....so how do I have a monthly charge on my account then? These people lie and make the narrative convenient for themselves. They refused to cancel my account or the charges! Don't sign a contract with this place. All they care about is money and will lie to steal yours.

I've been a member of this gym for a few months now, and today I was treated rudely by a staff member. I scanned my app to enter the gym, but the system may not have scanned it correctly. As I was cleaning my first workout machine, a young lady rudely told me that I needed to rescan my app. I showed her that I was a black card member on my app, but she still made me walk back to the front to rescan it. I am disappointed by the way I was treated by this staff member. Her behavior was rude and unprofessional. I have also noticed that the staff at this gym often ignores minorities, while greeting white members. I have never seen an African American employee at this location. I believe that everyone should be treated with respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity. I am calling on the management of this gym to take steps to address the issue of racism and discrimination.

I enjoy working out at planet fitness. I like the equipment, tanning beds and hydro massage. However this location is small and has a lot of members who come here. You will find your self waiting for a machine for maybe about 15 minutes. As long as someone else doesn't get to it before you. Machines are very close together, so they technically don't even have enough space to add more equipment unless they got rid of 40% of the unused ellipticals that they have. I would go to a different planet fitness but the next closest one is 17 minutes away from me. Hopefully after January the "new year, new me" people start to filter out. But so far its been hard to get a good work out in.

I went in to speak to the general manager, Cara about my account. I haven’t been getting charged for my membership when I have money in my account and end up getting charged a week later with a late fee. When speaking to Cara, I felt that I was being degraded and shamed because my account had been declined. I was being spoken over, and unable to finish what I was saying or explain my situation, as well. I felt embarrassed and uncomfortable because she was speaking way too loud while other members were around, and many employees. I’m giving two stars. One, for Cara’s horrible customer service skills. And another, for her loud mouth. You need a muzzle. Thanks.

The facility it super clean and the staff is pleasant. There are ample machines so I didn't have to wait. I'm happy I joined.

They do a pretty good job of keeping the place clean. Just get in work out and leave because there's always females walking around in the most provocative gear trying to be seen. They don't even work out!

I've been going to planet fitness for months almost everyday. It's always clean well maintained showers always nice and hot , equipment always up to par. I notice however not one of those days staff indicated they were having a bad day. I'm sure they did have days everyone does, but they were so professional no one knew. Staff always greeting members with a smile. They get you to where your going quickly example tanning beds etc.. I really appreciate that I'm always in a hurry. They even catch me going out and say have a good day or night that is if they are not do busy helping other members but even then lol they will stretch there neck around them and you'll hear have a good night or afternoon. I find it funny at times but I also appreciate it. It's almost like there saying you were welcomed and we want to see you back again .Thank you planet for all you do satisfied customer

Planet fitness has been the best experience I have had. The gym is always clean and the staff are very friendly. I have been going there for over 3 years and wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else. I call it my home away from home. I would recommend the gym to anyone.

The worst thing you could have done was handout free memberships to students. We understand why you do it but it makes the gym unbearable to enjoy! Good luck trying to get a solid workout in while you're waiting for anything to open. It's not just 1s and 2s but 3 and 4 kids hanging out taking up to 45 minutes on 1 machine. PF do better! Idea...free school memberships should be utilized during normal school hours. Let the adults enjoy what they PAY for!

Clean and we'll laid out. If you are just getting into fitness or have some experience with workouts they will likely have most of the equipment you want. However, if you go during a busy for there will be a line for it.

It's planet fitness equipment wise you know what you get. But the employees here make this place horrible. It's a bunch of rude entitled children. They don't greet you when you walk in. They just stand there and awkwardly stare at you or gossing with other coworkers. Paper towel dispensers are always empty, but 3 employees at the desk with nothing to do. The male custodian is probably the most personable person there. The trainer is a jerk, and the manager, well let's just say it starts from the top down. I'm not sure where the women with the red hair went but should have been running this place. There is also a young lady with black curly hair usually toward the evenings and weeks that is also very nice...

Fuquay Varina planet fitness is by far the best I have ever been to! The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, and the amenities are kept up and clean and stocked! It is the only Planet Fitness that I will go to in my area, and I go out of my way to go to this one because it by far out all the others! Every other planet fitness has issues of some sort from paper towels not being refilled to AC not working properly or staff not friendly.
