Excellent service and very delicious food. We really enjoyed ourselves at Applebee's. The appetizers (QUESADILLA) were awesome, and the tea was really good. I had the grilled chicken and shrimp, and my wife had the French onion soup. Good parking and a very clean restaurant.

Had lunch twice here and both times service was very good and food very bad. Simple pasta dish made inedible by over cooking the pasta. Today they remade the pasta and it was worse, complete mush. There’s absolutely no excuse for such a simple thing and skimping pennies and being lazy by trying to serve soggy pasta after realizing that it was ruined by over cooking. Gross

To start off with the spinach artichoke dip, the chips were so stale they weren't worth eating. I got the Fiesta Lime Chicken, the chicken was so dry, you could have choked on it and coughed out a feather. It was that bad, and it wasn't cutting like a chicken breast, I'm thinking it was a lab grown piece of chicken. That's what it seemed like to me. My girl friend got the riblets but it was the strangest looking riblets I've ever seen. They were big cuts of meat, with BBQ sauce on them. She said there was alot of gristle and they were rather chewy. Better luck next time Applebee's, not going back there again. The food does not look like their photos.

I had the bbq ribs and they were great, the pork actually fell off the bones easily! Applebees is where I go if I am craving baby back bbq ribs. The service was good and the restaurant looked clean.

I stopped going to our local Applebee’s but the Fuquay Varina location, really knows their stuff. My Quesadilla Burger was fantastic! A warm/grilled tortilla held a cooked to order burger, 2 pcs of pepper jack, crispy bacon, mexi ranch and shredded lettuce. Talk about a drippy taste sensation!! The fries and ranch were also good and the service was great! My sister got the chicken fingers. To me they looked like freezer fingers. The menu does not mention that they are hand breaded, so you know what to expect. She said they were good and the small portion was generous. @applebees

This review has nothing to do with the service because we received great service from our waitress, Jenny! She was great! The food, not so much. We went with a party of 6 to celebrate birthdays. 3 of us ordered the Endless boneless wings, which were cold and tasted old! I get it! You have a lot of wings to serve, but, I am a paying customer and shouldn't have to eat cold, old food! The turn around time for getting them out was also way too fast for them to be fresh. You can't cook wings that are "good" in less than 3 minutes! They were obviously sitting out and just tossed quickly in the sauce we asked for. My daughter had the steak dinner, no wings, and was up all night with stomach issues. Not sure if the meat was bad or something else. We have been going to this Applebee's over the past 15 years and have decided not to return after this visit.

Food just hella expensive

This was by far the best experience at an Applebee's restaurant, I have had in a very very very long time. My waitress, Kaitlyn C, was absolutely fabulous and so fantastic at the service she provided me. She was spot on in ensuring all my need where a 100+ percent met. She went well above and beyond to ensure that it was the best experience. The best part she did it all with the most pleasant and amazing smile. It was an honor and a privilege to be served by such an amazing person. She is an absolute top notch server! Kids Grilled Chicken Alfredo tasted good but barely had any chicken. It was served in a cup and not worth $8.55 even with the 3 mozzarella sticks and chocolate milk. House Caesar was very large and $3.00 cheaper than the kids meal! The picture shows the size differences.

Against better judgement ate here in a pinch last Friday, 9/27 as a party of 3 with my family. We all ordered different things ranging from a kids meal, adult meal, and 1 person just had an app. All 3 of us were sick as a dog about an hour later! Reported to Wake Health Dept.

The waitress was very friendly. The booth we were seated at had ripped upolstery. I noticed Walmart ketchup on the table. We ordered the Swiss burger. The burgers were good. Our fries were cold. The ketchup was really disappointing. There is a difference in the flavor of name brand ketchup versus bargain brands. It makes me wonder if they cut corners on ketchup what other cuts are they making on quality. Really not impressed for the cost of our meals.

I had the French dip and loved it! The Wait staff is friendly and take good care of you. The inside could use a face lift decor wise.

Our server, Leighla, was excellent. She was friendly without being overwhelming. My order was delivered timely and exactly as I had asked - demonstrating that Leighla really listened. She is a real keeper! Because my husband and I live closer by, we come to Applebee's fairly often - this young lady was one of the best servers I have experienced here. Thank you.

Wife and I stopped in for their 9.99 deal. I had bacon cheese burger, and my wife had the chicken sandwich... they were both amazing, great taste at a great price...I suggest, keep it on the menu, it's a winner, server was very professional and friendly, will return soon

Got take out the night before Thanksgiving. Hadn’t eaten at Applebees’s in a long time & looked forward to it. I was quite disappointed! The chicken fajita roll up had very little filling. The tortilla wrap was hard. FF’s were just bleh. Small portion rib plate was inedible. It was overcooked & tough & didn’t really look like a “rack” of ribs. Onion rings were hard to eat. The breading fell off & the onion inside was tough. They were greasy & bland. When I spend $36+ for dinner I expect more! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I went to enjoy myself yesterday evening and to enjugado a hot meal.. and the server Jacob a he was yelling about a tip there were 3 children at the table behind me with their parents he started getting mad after I signed my receipt and came bk to the table and said “you think I will be serving you and you just walked bk to the table I said I’m waiting for my friend he stood by the table saying YOU SERIOUSLY DIDNT LEABE A DAMN TIP.. I replied you didn’t do anything I said let me speak with the manager he said I bet you won’t.. so one of the other servers went and got the manager and the manager came bk and was so polite.. Jacob a started dropping dishes.. I had my mother with me from the nursing home he started cursing at her that’s what you won’t do..I work for Health and Human Resources and I will be reporting this incident yet again.. had his hat on backwards like he wanted to fight in a public establishment

Waiter did a good job but, food did not feel my expectations. Order a Top Sirloin Medium rate and it was super rare. I ask to change it looks like the put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. i change the plate and they politely not charge me for the sirloin steak. Will come for appetizers but, not for steak because they are not good for it.

I ordered online and picked up curbside. I was very disappointed with the appearance of my meal and the temperature of the food. The burger was slightly more than warm and the fries were cold. I was surprised at the presentation of this meal, normally the food is hot and delicious. I will think twice about ordering in this manner in the future.

This place used to be great, but the last 4 times in a row the order has been wrong! Stuff is missing , whole dinners were totally wrong. Chinese chicken salad but no chicken, no dressing. Ordered a Ceasar salad and they gave fettuccine Alfredo instead ( which was dry and tasteless). And other missing things. It's too bad . People working there are nice but not paying attention.

I went there during a busy time on a Wednesday night. and there was one wait staff behind the bar and another on the floor. They still did a great job in getting our food and drinks out and meeting our needs within a reasonable amount of time. It was actually impressive!

My wife and I visited Applebee's on Veteran's Day to enjoy the free meal for Vets. The restaurant was packed with Vets along with their families and friends. There was an atmosphere of laughter and comraderie ... almost as though it were a family reunion. I had the opportunity to greet and thank a number of the vets. Our waitress Amanda was wonderful! The food was great. I could not have asked for anything more. Thanks Applebee's. My wife and I will be back.

Celebrated my grandson birthday. Good time. They brought the dessert and sang to him! But we didn't inform the waiter of the birthday until after we ate and they had to edit the check and it took forever for him to bring it back. I guess he had to get his managers signature. He was new but did great!

I want to this applebee's for dinner me and my wife and daughter for new year dinner and I got some burgers that was so burnt and dry that all you taste is coals and manager said that they make new ones but did not see any food at the end just told me not to worry about the bill wich we didn't even eat

My wife and I feel that Applebee's quality and portions of food were not what we were used to. The Fiesta Chicken was dry, and the flavor was lacking... Flavor. My wife had half rack of ribs and again... meat was dry. We are not certain we would go back.

The waitress was very nice . The restaurant was pretty clean. The issue is the food quality. I tried it twice at the same location, and the food is terrible. It seems like it's run by teenagers . If you aren't taking out your kids or something, avoid this place.

Applebee's is a pretty solid restaurant hits right in the middle where it should food is always pretty good. I'll always get the rib platter and the fries always good. Only one occasion where my food came out cold but the staff was quick to fix everything very friendly efficient never any negative attitudes good environment nice place to eat.

Applebee's and Chili's similar type restaurant. Unfortunately, these chains have been around a while and it shows. You can smell dirty, musty carpet when you walk in. Its dark wood and window coverings and tables, chairs seem old and in need of a good steam clean. Food prep has always been a joke for chains. Talk of microwaves and such to meet the demand. Our kids seem to like it. It was their choice this visit. The oriental chicken salad was not as I remembered. It was laden with too much dressing. It used to be the freshest salad on the menu. Our daughter did enjoy the four cheese mac n cheese with chicken. Her go to. This visit reminded me why its normally not on our rotation. Unsweetened iced tea was good.

Horrible experience! After waiting 30 minutes for our food, my husband had to send his steak back because he asked for well done and they gave him medium.They sent our food out without knives. When we asked for some, the waiter said they were out and that they were in the process of cleaning some. It wasn’t even that busy in there to have a shortage on knives. 🙄 my food was mediocre at best and my chicken had a weird aftertaste. We ordered a corn dog and fries for our little one. After waiting 45 MINUTES the “manager” brings out a pizza with yogurt and strawberries. 🙄🙄🙄I told her that’s not what we ordered, that it has been 45 minutes and asked her to expedite the request. She hurried off, not even apologizing or acknowledging me. Our server was nice but kept giving the same update on their food… “it’s coming right up.” Finally the brought out my husband’s meal and my baby’s corn dog but we ended up taking it to go because we had waited so long! The manger did attempt to rectify the situation by removing both meals from the receipt, however the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths. We absolutely will not be going there again!

Long wait to be seated and also for food to arrive at table due to limited staffing. Wait staff was very nice! New waffle cheese fries and broccoli pasta bowl were both Very Bland. Chocolate lava cake still incredibly delicious!

I had ordered two take out meals with curbside delivery. Service was great.The meals were brought out immediately. The steak and salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes was good, I would order again. PS, the Abblebee's App works very good.

Our server did a pretty good job of taking care of us. I would not recommend the Bourbon St chicken because it was a little too salty and spicy at the same time. I would eat here again but I'll probably opt for a steak or a burger next time.

It's a good place to dine if you're looking for something local. My wife works here and gets stiffed rather frequently. There are too many people/families that come here and run the servers around and don't tip..good luck if you eat here..some people are too cheap to tip for good service. Some people also come here and are loud/obnoxious..I personally like to dine in an environment without self-centered rude, cheap people..good luck on your experience

I was very upset. Yall were out of the wanton taco shells those are my absolute favorite. My mashed potatoes were cold when my entree came out. I've definitely had better experiences with this Location. We eat there atleast 2/3 times a week.

After being told that there was a 45 minute wait in a nearly empty restaurant, our party decided to sit at the bar. We had a wonderful time! Our waitress/bartender (Amanda T.) was awesome. The food & drinks were all too good. Best visit to an Applebee's yet!

Our food was hot, fresh and delicious. Our server, Brooklyn, was absolutely great. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. She made our visit an exceptional experience.

Never had an Applebee's cheeseburger so I decided with my girlfriend, a two for $25 hamburger fries and a side salad, big mistake. Hamburger buns were cold,burger had little flavor. Don't never order french fries from Applebee's, they're hard, worst ones I ever had. I think they were day old fries and reheated.When I went in I had hopes of having a decent meal but I was extremely disappointed. I'll stick to Cookout and Hwy 55 for a good cheeseburger.

Normally my wife and I have a good time at Applebee’s and the food is good, but yesterday was terrible. My wife was treated very disrespectfully and impatiently, the food AND drink was not only wrong, it was terrible. There was no apology or any refund/gift card offered, and she felt like she was rushed out the door. We don’t go out very much anymore, so Applebee’s will not be a choice we will consider in the future. Giving two stars instead of one because it’s been much better in the past.

Went at lunch time on a Thursday noon. Figured going to the bar we would get faster service and enjoy a beer while waiting….Nope! Waited to get second beer as long as wait for food for over 30 minutes on a burger ( their specialty). When food came out you could tell it was microwaved🤨

They quickly cleared a table for us so we could sit down when we arrived. Good food, good service, fair prices.

Restaurant is old and needs updating. Waitress was friendly but very inexperienced.... didn't know the menu items. Food was not prepared well and they forgot dressing on salad.

I ordered the grilled chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken was tender and juicy mashed potatoes were very good as well were the broccoli. Our server, Lyric, was very attentive and very pleasant to work with. Over my 70 years I have found Applebee's to be a very capable and consistent company in food preparation, service and atmosphere.

Impromptu evening stop. Easy, free parking lot. Took only two minutes to be seated. Server was friendly. Place appeared clean enough. But. The food just wasn't right. The chips and dip had a very chemical-ish thing going on. Made me feel I was eating perfume or something. My first meal included "shrimp" but it couldn't have been shrimp. When trying to pick it up with a fork, it mushed like eggs or a chunky mashed potatoes. As I touched the other shrimp imposters, they all did the same. I returned that meal. Got another with chicken and rice. The chicken was tough and salty.

Quality of the food is lacking. Mac and Cheese was dry, tough… They state in the menu that they use Kraft Mac and Cheese, very simple recipe, takes under 8 minutes to make fresh and cost a dollar to make, why serve this old and reheated… Sampler was served reheated as well, the spinach dip was lukewarm, cheese sticks were cool to warm, and the chicken was not hot either. The only item that seemed to be fresh was the bbq sauce. This is a management issue and will not be corrected until management changes or is held accountable. These items should have never left the kitchen. Hopefully this reached the owner or person who wants to see the restaurant succeed as it did years ago to correct the issue. For a restaurant to be half empty on Mothers Day says a lot. And the reviews of lacking quality are spot on.
