This is one of my favorite parks in NC. It has a great playground, a fantastic walking trail, clean restroom facilities, and great colors from the trees this time a year. The splash pad is amazing, too. It's right down the street from the Mason Jar Tavern and great coffee shops and bakeries. Definitely check it out. You won't regret it.

UPDATE: So, we finally got a chance to visit the SplashPad area, and, after being to the amazing one down in Sanford at Kiwanis Family Park, this one was okay and on par with that one, but, a little bit of a let down for three reasons: 1.) The daggon water shuts off on most of the SplashGround like every three to four minutes?!?! It eventually comes back on, yes, but, that’s just annoying when the water cuts off SO frequently?! Doesn’t make any sense. The SplashPad in Sanford never cut off once, not one single time we were there. 2.) There are GNATS everywhere and they are all around the SplashPad area!?!? I was getting attacked by then the entire time we were there. 3.) They charge every person $2 to get into the SplashPad area. But, all that being said, it IS still a fun water area at a playground for kids. It has way more water features than most other SplashPads and SprayGrounds. They have a BIG Big Bucket, too! It takes 5-8 minutes to fill up and dump, but it is fun once it finally DOES fill up! lol S great park for kiddos! 👍👍 AWESOME playground with FOUR cool slides! One of em being a tube/tunnel slide. There’s a rock-climbing wall, and a smaller playground for babies. There’s also a cool splashpad area right next to the playground too! Definitely worth a visit if you have kids! 😁👍👍

There is a large, impressive playground in this park. There are swings, slides, and a very tall climbing wall. There’s a play set for smaller kids and a larger play set for bigger kids. My kiddos (age 2 and 5) had a blast here! There’s a lot of shade and a covered picnic table area as well as public restrooms. Highly recommend this park!

Very clean, very big park. Public restrooms picnic areas, baseball fields, basketball courts. A big free splash pad for the kids.and down the street from all the stores. And a Hella Great firework presentation in July. And food trucks where great.

Nice open place in Fuquay-Varina. Also an electronics drop off place near the back. Easy place to dispose of old TV's, monitor, Lights, Printers, etc.

South Park in Fuquay-Varina, offers a great basketball court, playgrounds, a walking track, and a splash pad. Don’t miss the 0.7-mile greenway that starts at the baseball field. It’s a fantastic spot for outdoor fun! 🏀🌳

Fun place for kids. Just sucks how crowded Fuquay is. My family has been in this area since the beginning and it’s disgusting how greed has allowed this town to go to hell. Same is happening in Harnett County.

Great for my kids, bathrooms are usually really well maintained, walking distance from where I live, 3 baseball fields, great walking loop, splash pad for the summer!

Didn’t expect this place to have free splash pad. Great resident place to relax. It’s free if you pay tax here.

Nice amenities for such a small town. Big new playsets, clean bathrooms, picnic pavilion, and lots more. Our favorite local park, even when the splash pad is closed.

Where can people put their towels if not on the fence railing? Very annoying.

Park was clean and family friendly. The sign on the walking path said that 1 lap equals 3 miles. I did 3 laps thinking I had walked 9 miles, but my walking app said I had only completed 1 mile

It was a beautiful show of fireworks. My boys, and I went out there, and it was Very nice to see the community come out with their families together to enjoy the evening.

It’s a great park, the playground is nice, the water park is fun, and I coach baseball at the fields which are maintained very well. The only issues is the bathrooms are always out of soap, and the (2) water fountains have never worked since we’ve been playing there.

The fireworks were awesome. The band this year was Spare Change. I thought they were pretty good. Great time for the whole family. The food trucks had lots of different foods, but it eas expensive! Take a picnic.

Watched a boys rec baseball game here a couple of times nice clean park in Fuquay-Varina.

I have never used the splash pad, but I have witnessed the kids and their parents enjoying themselves. So it appears to be a fun location. I'm 70, and I you utilize the walking trail that is right off the baseball field. In addition I also utilize the track that goes around two other baseball fields.

Basic park that has a splash pad in the Summer months. Not a ton at the park but it often had many kids, thats more important because that's all my son wants to do is make up games to play

2 little league fields , a bigger field for older kids and adults. A Waterpark for the kids when in season. They do have a covered gazebo. Also the town community center is right there as well. Basketball courts inside and 1 outside. The sports leagues that the town runs are absolutely horrible. If you want to have your kids learn and take a sport serious , avoid the town of Fuquay. You'd be better off letting YouTube coach your kids.

We were here last summer and the water place was lovely. Today, though, there was a gentleman who was wandering the playground laughing to himself and following small children. We were the second family to leave as this man followed my son around until we were so uncomfortable we felt we needed to leave. On our way out, an older woman was lighting up with Marijuana... we won't be back any time soon

I love this place. Another one of my favorites happy places. I visit here often to walk. I haven't been this year. Last year, I walked around amd gained up to four miles, yes indeed, happy place, happy face!! This is also a nice place for picnics, it has a place for children, playground, splash pad, ballgames, and others town activities during the year. I really enjoy this place. It's a safe place!

Kids always love the splash pad. Be careful on those hot days, those slides at the playground were hott boy woo... my kids ended up just staying at splash pad. Remember to bring a chair or blanket for outside of splashpad little seating for parents to observe kids.

My daughter absolutely loved the splash pad. I'll be bringing her back for certain. Bathrooms are always an issue because of the smell and older resources but still had a good time.

Park was clean and has a great playground for the kids. We also did some laps on the track located right next to the playground.

I went on down to South Park and I had myself a time... Friendly faces everywhere, humble folks without temptation. Ample parking day or night, people smiling....

Very nice park. Attended a 4th celebration that was probably one of the best I have seen in a while. Several vendors there. There is a water park there for the kids.

There’s a 1/3 mile walking track that’s great for an easy walk. The splash pad is great cooling fun too.

Great playground for all ages! Has a section for kids under 5 year olds which is always nice to have. It also has swings and a shaded place for parents to sit. It looks to be in great condition and seems somewhat new. My kid always has a lot of fun here.
