I was seen yesterday and called today to ask a question. The woman who answered would not allow me to speak, kept interrupting, and was rude. I will say the woman doctor I saw was very sweet. Luckily I was able to contact a dermatologist in Cary who immediately asked the nurse my questions, answered them in full and were very empathetic. It took 2 minutes so not sure why the office staff here could not at least take 30 seconds to listen to the question. She came across as being on a Power Trip. Update: Just got from the dermatologist who told me I absolutely have Poison Ivy. This Urgent Care told me it absolutely was NOT poison ivy although I figured it was. I do not recommend this Urgent Care. They gave me treatment for something I did not have, and I got worse overnight. $75 copay that I deserve back, I would say.

I was in the clinic waiting to be seen on 10/12 when a man was causing a scene and harassing the front desk staff when they tried to hand him a mask to wear. There are signs on the doors saying masks are required like any medical facility. I applaud the front desk staff for how they handled his ignorance and for still being respectful to him even after he was name calling and called them stupid for wearing masks.

Everything went very smoothly. Was greeted upon arrival by a very nice lady. She quickly got us all checked in. We were taken in the back room and were greeted by the medical assistant. She also got us set up very quickly. The doctor came in she was very pleasant and Spoke to directly to my daughter as the patient which I appreciated and quickly ordered the appropriate tests and the appropriate medication. Very impressed by experience

I come here when I cannot be seen by my PCP quick enough, and I have never had a bad experience. The registration ladies are polite, friendly, and they always make me feel welcomed. The medical assistant and PA both were professional and easy to talk to. I felt heard, and felt that I got quality care, despite how many patients were also there waiting. I did not feel rushed.

I love coming here! They get us in and out quickly and everyone we've talked to is super nice. Dr. Joe is fabulous my kids think he's great! With six kids we'll have random injuries and if one person gets strep we all go down quickly! So grateful they're so close by.

The staff's attitude was good when I went for the pre-employment test; however, there was a wait time, unclear communication, and a slow response time! Just some general feedback: please inform your patient of the circumstances and the estimated time of your visit so they can decide what to do.

It’s October, 2022. The “Resident in Chief” has declared the shamdemic over. The world has returned to normal. And yet these tyrants tried forcing me to wear a mask only after I had been there for 10 minutes and had a conversation with them at the front desk. Then when I politely declined, I was forced to wait outside like a second class citizen. Since I have been here, they all have been rude and I have been waiting in the exam room for 20 minutes for the doctor. I am forced to be here for a physical exam for a job. On the bright side, the PA who saw me was AWESOME and really cool. No issues with him.

I was in this place back in May 19 th That was the horrible experience I ever had in health facility when I arrived, thre was 4 ppl before me one of them complained about not taking care of her and her son after she saw them taking care of others that arrived after her,the same thing happened to me after waiting a while they started taking care of patients that arrived after me.. I’ve noticed that the stuff responsible for the reception and entering the patients were busy talking chatting with each other and playing with their phones in the most of the time so they really couldn’t say which patient was first and who’s the second because they weren’t focusing in doing their job. I left, the funny thing is that they sent me an email after one hour ; they were so busy playing that they couldn’t realize that I left earlier. I went to an other place and they took a very good care of me and all patients besides me with professionalism and good character.

I had an appt and they took 3 people before me. The doctor never tested for flu or covid and just prescribed antibiotics and never told me a diagnosis.

Staff were very polite and welcoming. Front desk, MA and PA were all great people. 4 stars only for the wait time as I requested a 10 am appointment and I do not like to wait when appointment is scheduled. My paper work only took me 5-10 mins. I wasn’t seated until hour later. Will return if needed.

Fast and efficient care! I had to have 3 stitches, and the process was great! I really appreciated the level of care that I got, as I was nervous about going to urgent care. The stitches were easy, they held, and they healed well!

PA & Doctor very astute, and friendly. Total time from entering & filling out required paperwork and seeing PA & Doctor around 30 minutes. After entering exam room total time start to finish maybe another 15-20 minutes.

Every staff member from the young lady at the reception area to the Nurse & Doc in the tx area were excellent. They were personable, compassionate & knowledgeable.

The provider was great. However, I was pretty shocked that they open at 8 am and have appointments scheduled but the staff did not come in until later. I don’t know how that is acceptable.

Service was quick to the point that I feel it was a waste of time and money. Took a half second look at what I was in for and said can’t help you you should go to the ER. Not to mention someone had their child at work which seemed not the appropriate place to have your kid at work. The facility is as dirty as it can be and needs to be cleaned and updated.

She explained all my paperwork and made everything clear. All the nurses and doctors in the back that helped me took care of me and did everything perfectly!! I will definitely be back to you guys when I need you!! FastMed in Fuquay Rocks!!!!

Awesome first experience. New Year’s Day and they are open. Speedy, friendly service in good timing. Onsite X-rays available!

FastMed web site was easy to get pre-registered for my appointment. After arriving at the office I was checked in quickly and I was able to see the Dr rather quickly. The Dr listened to my problem and prescribed a medication for me. I was in and out in a short amount of time.

The scheduling process was easy. The intake forms are all online so I finished those up before I went for my appointment. That's a huge convenience instead of filling out paper forms in person. The staff was professional and communicated well. The doctor was great! Overall this was a very positive experience.

I was able to select my Appt time online. The receptionist was courteous and professional, the attending nurse was engaging in her pre-work and the PA was knowledgeable, thorough and explained exactly what she was recommending. Very satisfied with the service I received excellent service on a busy Saturday. A+ all the way around.

I took my father there for a visit on 4/16/21 to have him checked out for an illness. The front desk clerk was awesome, but the nursing staff were something else. We were the only people there, it took the staff 10 minutes to get a room. Then we were left there for about 20 minutes. I had to use the restroom. When I went to the restroom, the entire staff of three were eating Chik-Fil-a. Once they were finished, the Nurse Practitioner decided to check my father out. She was in there for only 56 seconds, I timed it!!!

Joe is the PA who saw me. He was the best. Gave love pads. The nurse was very nice and front desk girl was really kind. I had a great experience. Thank the Lord. Kathy

Took my 9 year old here for a bug bite that I thought might be infected. We were seen quickly and the doctor didn't think it was infected and prescribed a steroid cream. Two days later it was getting worse and I took him to his pediatrician who told me he should have been given antibiotics instead and the cream that was originally prescribed actually made it worse. I had pictures of what it looked like the day I brought him here and his actual pediatrician told me this place should have recognized it as staph and should have given him antibiotics. Will not be coming back.

Terrible experience. Have insurance paid 50 copay and they charged an additional 50 a new policy fast med has now. Why have insurance ? I have already paid more than the visit. Will not be coming back . Money hungry always pulling a fast one on patients.

I went in there last night and will be back again when I need it. It was so easy to schedule online and fill out paperwork before I got there. The woman at the front desk (didn't get her name) was nice and check in was smooth. I was called back quickly and had my vitals done with Sabrina who was also nice. I saw Joe, the PA who was great. I was in and out pretty quickly, which was also great. Overall a positive experience. I honestly appreciate the good service. I understand times are tough especially in the health-care field these days. But kindness goes a long way. It's nice to have a smile and some one act like they care. Thank you.

I have waited over an hour for a pre employment drug screen here. I made an appointment online but was told when I arrived "they aren't taking appointments." I really need to use the restroom so I let the lady at the front desk know that I'm uncomfortable, been waiting a long time to which BOTH ladies behind the desk gave me attitude. I didn't even hear what they said since they were both telling me off at the same time. I'm talking head-whippin, hair flingin', voice rainsin, ATTITUDE!!! These ladies need customer service training. I will not be coming back to this place. Ever. There are many other urgent care locations. AFC right across the street accepts medicaid and has snacks and water in the lobby. The front desk staff is friendly. I'd recommend you save yourself the frustration and go to AFC!!

I drove 35 minutes to this location because they accepted walk-ins and are open until 8pm. When I arrived at 5:15pm, I was informed that they were no longer accepting walk-ins and they would have to schedule an appointment for me the next day. I politely told them that if they stop taking walk-ins early it would be helpful if they could share this on their Facebook page. One of the receptionists was extremely rude in return, telling me “don’t get an attitude.” I understand that things happen (I was told that a physician left early), but to be met with that kind of attitude and a complete lack of empathy is unacceptable. Save yourself the drive and go to AFC if you need medical attention after hours and without an appointment.

They were busy, but offered me a time to come back. We went and had dinner and returned on time as they were ready for me. Needed chest X-rays, quick and simple. I waited a long time for the results (this wasn’t their fault though. The radiology group was slow in reading them or either they were backed up with other urgent care orders.) Very pleased.

This was the first time we visited the Fuquay location. The two gals at the front desk were friendly and check in process was smooth. We did not have to wait long to get my sons stitches removed and we were on our way!

First of all, I didn't even have an appointment. The women who were working were more than happy to make one and get me back as quickly as possible. Whole process took less than 30. Fast, efficient, friendly and professional. What more could one expect?

  • 5/5 Kevin M. 1 year ago on Google
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wait time was low. I know that’s not always going to happen. I did call ahead and they said it was a 30 minute wait and they were spot on. My 7 year old was exposed to strep so they ran a quick test, got the prescription in and had us on our way. Will definitely go back but hopefully we won’t need to

I am visiting grand-children in Wake Co, NC. I live in Florida and am 70 yo. I began having exacerbation of my copd; I was concerned about this as I was so far from my usual medical providers. My family recommended FastMed. Great call!! Even though I was a walk-in, I was received warmly and seen promptly. All staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. I was treated by Jessica, PA. I'm a retired RN-C/BSN and I can easily recognize a quality medical provider. Jessica is top-notch: she was friendly and engaging, took the time to listen to me, and after a Hx and exam, I was given the proper treatment and follow-up instructions. I felt like I was seeing my own providers back home. I am very gratefull for, and impressed with, the staff and service at FastMed. I'll be in this area for the next month and now know that I have quality healthcare nearby. Thank you all!

I went in after 5 hours of uncontrollable vomiting. My only complaint is that I waited longer than I expected to be seen. Anyone sitting in the waiting area vomiting should at least be placed in a room and not made to wait while healthier people go first. Triage would have been more appropriate.

The gang at FastMed in Fuquay Varina were awesome. Set my appt by app and did all online info too. Just went in with a 5 minute wait and did the assessment and then the nurse checked me out and prescribed exactly what I needed and I was off. Less than 30 minutes.

I picked my son up from daycare with a fever of 103.3, (he’s 8 months old) brought him into this urgent care & was told he had a fever of 99, his Covid test was negative & to bring him home & give him Tylenol. I left & went to a different hospital 15 minutes away & my son had a fever of 103.7 & tested positive for flu & RSV. They didn’t even take his temperature properly, they took it via under the arm & in the ear. Very horrible experience.

We all hate going to the doctor but when you have people that truly care about your well-being it sure makes it easier. I can't say enough good things about this place. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would. Thank you 😊 and thank you for caring so much. Y'all truly make a difference. #FASTMED

Refused to believe that I had strep since my test came up negative. Labcorp test also did, so fastmed wiped their hands of me and acted like they'd done all they could. Wouldn't even discuss an antibiotic. Well after a week of fever and illness (knowing I had strep) I went to AFC today where I was actually listened to and looked at thoroughly. Yes I had strep, and since I'd been fighting it so long, I also have pneumonia and sinus infection. Fastmed does not care about your health and will not listen to you. I am so grateful I got a second opinion and can finally start healing today! Thank you, AFC Urgent Care.

The visit was okay, but I'm upset that the dr did not listen to my needs. I was seabed for COVID and strep. I knew I had strep even though the test came back negative. I told the dr I am a patient without a spleen and I'm not up to date on my strep vaccine. I even mentioned I'm high risk with strep and would like an antibiotic just to be sure and he refused to prescribe it. I received a call this morning from him informing the lab culture came back positive for strep. Luckily strep didn't get me hospitalized this time, but I'm incredibly disappointed that the dr didn't even bother listening to my needs. It's not like I was asking for narcotics. I asked for an antibiotic because I know my medical needs. Tell me you don't know medical needs of a so electo my patient without telling me.

I take my kids here when I can’t get an appointment at the pediatrician office. They are always fast and friendly! The doctor they have seen multiple times (forgive me I can’t remember his name) is always super friendly and playful with my kids and that helps tremendously with my son who has super anxiety! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Went in today (11/30) expecting for it to take several hours...was in and out in less than 1 hour...prescriptions had been called in and ready when I got to Pharmacy...receptionist was very nice and helpful...a little pricey but I was self pay but still cheaper than paying monthly insurance!! Have been to this location in Fuquay for several years...never a problem!!
