👍👍 Rebecca is amazing! I came in with a lot of doubts. After the first appointment, she instilled confidence in me and the program. Now I’m back to where I was and even better in a lot of ways. I highly recommend Rebecca and Back in Action as an environment! People often mention Rebecca, Action, exercises, recovery, therapist, physical, therapy, great, recommend, experience,

Began PT after a full thickness rupture of left patella tendon. I was initially told by my surgeon that recovery was roughly 8 months in regards to resuming running and jumping activities. I worked with Emily King and was running in 6 months! My training program with back in action was clearly explained, carefully executed and monitored closely. No two sessions were the same and I was constantly and appropriately challenged with no setbacks. Emily brought a wealth of knowledge of not only my injury and its needed progression. I was also coached on how to improve my strength training activities. I am feeling great. and confidant in my repair and recovery. Thank you Emily. I highly recommend Emily and this office.

I decided to try Back in Action PT after my daughter, Dana Jarmon, had a very good experience there. I wasn't aware that I could go to PT without an order (if your insurance allows). I've had nagging back problems for years, and a physical job with long hours at times, so I thought I would see if they could help. My PT, Rebecca, took a patient and thorough history, did a very detailed assessment, and started me on some exercises that immediately improved my back. We also worked on some knee problems I was having, again starting with a thorough exam (I know she is thorough because I am a PA and was trained to do many of these exams), and an exercise to strengthen my knee. She's even made some videos of the exercises that were very helpful. She even helped me with how I was doing my weightlifting exercises to protect/strengthen my back and legs. I've had a great experience overall, and would recommend anyone to go to Back in Action if you have any acute or chronic problems.

The physical therapist (Greg) is very knowledgeable, designed exercises exactly to improve my end-stage deteriorated hip, and is preparing me for a faster post-surgical recovery after I have a total hip replacement. He has you vigorously exercise at a pace suited to your situation. I highly recommend him. Dr. Tomi MacDonough, Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D.), retired from the Army, retired from the VA, and then was a civilian contractor for the Army for six years.

I can’t say enough good things about this place other than from day 1 I have been treated Like family and in todays ever changing world it’s hard to find people who actually care but from the front desk to the physical therapist that help I can say this is the place to be if you need help in any way. I personally recommend Rebecca in Fuquay Varina as one of the best. She not only treats you with respect but she genuinely cares that she is giving you the care you need in every way she can.

Rebecca is the best PT i have ever encountered! Extremely knowledgeable and if she doesnt k ow she researches and comes back with my answer. The RA in my body affects different joints daily. She listens, explains, teaches and is always so kind and patient. Love back in actions app also. Exercise explanations and you do the counts. Holds you accountable and you dont forget exercises!

Owen is the BEST PT I've ever worked with! I drive 30 minutes out of tow ln to see him. He's fixed my back issues in record time twice in the last decade. Thanks for getting me back to normal quickly, Owen! 😇

Wasn't sure what to expect as I've never needed PT for orthopedic injury before, but I'm sure even the highest expectations have been exceeded. I've been seeing Owen for 2 mos now for a complete ACL tear, both prehab and rehab. My recovery has been great.

I don’t even know where to begin to tell you how impressed I am with Back In Action - Ivey PT. It was very bittersweet for me today as it was my last session! I went in for some severe back issues, hamstring issue, and various things that I popped up while I was seeing Rebecca . Not only is she incredibly patient but so knowledgeable and so helpful. I have never had a physical therapist that actually was able to help me ever! Thank you, Rebecca and Danielle from the bottom of my heart to help me find some healing and some solutions with exercises, strength training, and patience! Have you ever tried physical therapy in the past and not had a great experience, I can promise you going to Back in action in Fuquay Varina will definitely be the place for you to go💜

Brandon Langworthy, who works at Back in Action in Fuquay Varina, NC was terrific as my physical therapist who worked on a reverse total replacement shoulder injury that I had due to a fall. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He also provided dry needling for my pressure point issues in order to move the whole healing process forward. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Rachel was so helpful. I came in with a lot of pain and had very limited mobility, by the time I left I felt way better and I'm no longer in pain. If you have any doubts about what PT to go to, I wouldn't hesitate to go to back in action!

I was referred to Back in Action by a good friend who had used their services last year. I have been very happy with my Physical Therapist she is good at keeping it interesting, fun yet hard enough that I am getting better quickly. I broke both bones in my right leg and they are healing well and I am getting around better and faster than initially anticipated.

Was really shocked at the hands on care I’m getting for my injury. Have seen many physical therapists and none has taken as much time to do one on one work with me. Already having some pain relief within one week

Completed physical therapy for lower back pain at Back in Action in Fuquay Varina NC with Emily King as my therapist during August and September 2023. She was very professional and taught me many exercises in the facility and also many exercises I could do at home. The on-site treatments with the exercise equipment and the home exercises significantly reduced my back pain. I would definitely recommend Back in Action in Fuquay Varina and Emily King who is a highly skilled therapist for anyone needing Physical Therapy.

Hi! Everyone, wanted to share my experience attending Back in Action. I'm a current service member in the Army. I was injured during training and had to pick from a list of locations to receive back therapy. I picked Back in Action being that was the closest location at the time to my residence. I started receiving back therapy with Megan. I can not even find the words to explain how amazing of a therapist she is. Within the first sessions I felt I was making progress to my recovery. I won't lie some of the exercises were challenging that made me a little sore but I was good to go the following day. What I loved about my sessions and working with Megan that not only was she helping me recover but also that she was educating me along the way to better my health and life in general. Every session was a step closer to my recovery. She helped me a lot and I was able to continue on my missions. Also, when making appointments she was helpful and flexible with accommodating around my work schedule. Even though I do not live in that area now, I plan to go back for my therapy needs, even if I have to drive far. As a soldier I have to stay fit and ready and I trust Megan and Back in Action to take care of me, so I can do my job, to serve my country🇺🇸 Thank you Megan, and all of the great staff

Greg has been a great PT, treating me after shoulder replacement surgery. He is very patient and also very informative. He was wonderful at explaining the various procedures used at the facility and recommended for home. He also was helpful in helping me to set expectations, and what NOT to do during the therapy period. My shoulder is in the best condition its been in many years. I learned a lot about my condition and will be returning for therapy for a recent foot surgery. Also, even though I’m an Ohio State Buckeye, I will never hold against him that he’s from Michigan. He’s a good Spartan.

Exceptional care! My physical therapist, Rebecca, created a welcoming atmosphere while pushing me to achieve my goals. Her support and expertise brought me comfort during postpartum recovery. I saw incredible results in no time and even on my last day, I was sent home full of worthy exercises to keep a steady recovery. Grateful for her dedication!

I had the BEST experience with Rebecca at Back in Action! I was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and underwent major reconstructive hip surgery in 2022. I worked with Rebecca for nearly a year and a half - several months of “pre-hab” before surgery and several more months of rehab after surgery. Rebecca literally helped me learn to walk and run again (and everything else in between!) after having my pelvis cut apart and reassembled, and she did it all with positivity and good humor. The facility at Back in Action is great - I love that patients have the opportunity to utilize the amenities of the gym in addition to the clinic - but Rebecca was, without a doubt, the best part of my experience. She was so intentional in her care for me and designed my therapy program with my goals and input in mind. I felt like she cared about me as a whole person. She’s extremely knowledgeable and transparent: I appreciate that she always took the time to explain what I needed to work on, why I was doing certain exercises, what might be happening to cause my pain, etc. I’m so grateful for her patience and encouragement throughout my recovery journey, especially since I wasn’t always very patient with or encouraging to myself. I loved running before my hip dysplasia diagnosis, so one of my long term goals for recovery was to be able to run again. It’s now been one year since my surgery and I just ran my first post-op 5k to celebrate. It wouldn’t have been possible without Rebecca’s training and guidance! I will absolutely return to and recommend Rebecca at Back in Action for any future PT needs!

If you’re a mom struggling postpartum with core strength and all that goes with it this is the place for you. I was seen by Rebecca Acevedo for diastasis recti and she worked with me for about 6 months. She was so sweet and relatable through the whole process. I now feel so much stronger and more confident in tackling all mom life throws at me! 10/10
