I'm
sharing
this
after
my
4th
incorrect
drink.
I
was
a
barista
at
Starbucks
for
a
few
years,
and
I'm
always
surprised
at
the
way
things
are
handled
at
this
particular
Starbucks
-
I'm
more
likely
to
drive
an
extra
5
miles
to
go
to
the
"better"
one.
When
I
worked
at
Starbucks
previously,
if
we
made
a
drink
incorrectly,
we
would
let
the
person
keep
their
drink,
saying
"please
give
it
to
someone
who
you
think
may
like
it,"
and
would
sincerely
apologize.
At
this
Starbucks,
you
are
lucky
if
you
get
any
acknowledgement
for
the
incorrect
drink,
and
they
will
take
your
drink
back
to
the
bar
(even
if
you've
touched
it
and
sipped
from
it),
and
correct
it
by
adding
syrups
or
milks.
The
second
thing
we
would
never
do
is
take
someone's
drink
back
with
us
or
touch
their
lid
for
hygiene
reasons.
Once
the
drink
left
your
hands,
you
did
not
accept
it
back
behind
the
bar
again.
Each
time
I've
gone
to
this
Starbucks,
they've
either
added
the
wrong
milk,
forgotten
the
milk,
or
forgotten
the
syrup.
When
tasting
the
drink,
I'll
notice
immediately
if
it's
wrong,
and
say
something...or
drive
all
the
way
back
to
get
it
corrected.
Usually
I'm
met
with...."Okay
give
it
here
please"
(no
apology),
and
then
the
syrup
or
milk
is
added
separately
on
top
of
the
existing
drink.
This
is
a
big
no-no
when
making
drinks
because
each
drink
is
made
in
a
specific
way
so
that
the
ingredients
are
incorporated.
When
things
are
added
as
an
after
thought,
you'll
get
the
syrup
or
milk
on
top,
while
the
rest
of
the
drink
is
coffee
or
coffee/milk.
Another
note
is
that
you
never
argue
with
a
customer
about
their
drink
(especially
if
it's
on
the
cup...),
and
while
this
place
does
not
argue
with
you,
you
can
usually
tell
they
do
not
believe
they
could
have
given
you
the
wrong
drink,
or
they
will
give
off
a
vibe
that
it's
inconvenient
to
fix
it.
I
sound
like
an
a-hole,
but
to
be
honest,
the
customer
service,
hygiene
practices,
and
overall
training
here
are
lacking.
