My recommendation for this property is quite low. Food quality is average. You may not get your tea if u need one during breakfast. Maintenance of rooms can be better. The coffee mugs in rooms, rest rooms can maintained better. Hotel Reception is more interested in checking with the guest, when will they check out. I did request to speak with the duty manager whose access was not provided even after multiple requests. Not a value for the money that one pays..Big disappointment...

I was in a bit of a rush when I left my earlier post, but as I now see that these reviews are reviewed by the management team, I feel compelled for the person that really impressed me to receive the recognition that he truly deserves. That person is Ram. This guy is a genuinely nice and sincere guy from the very depths of his soul. He is an absolute joy to deal with. He is a role model for anyone in the service industry. IBIS are very lucky to have him as a member of their team.

Pathetic room size, no idea how it justifies paying close to 4k for it. I will definitely not visit again. It's so small you cannot even keep luggage properly. When you bath your hands will repeatedly hit the shower glass. Soap is not provided and they are filling hand wash for soap and it causes terrible eye pain. When we highlighted this to housekeeping they mentioned that it was expected. Beds are movable with wheels on them. First time I am seeing such a bed. And rooms are not properly cleaned with lots of dust underneath. TV doesn't work. Shower room is very very old and not clean. Towels are so so old, atleast 2-3 years and unfit for using it. I traveled with my 1 year old son, requested them for milk and never got delivered after ordering. This cannot get worse than this and my lil one cried for an hour. What the heck these guys do? Their only duty is to get the order and deliver and how they can miss it. I called them 3 times for this and truly horrendous experience. Never ever travel with your infant to this hotel. The only good thing is they allow outside food but they don't allow delivery partners inside and you have to walk a km to get it. Reception is understaffed and if there are 4 folks to check in simultaneously then you need to wait at least 10-15 minutes before they attend you.

Good experience during stay, rooms are very neat and clean, but queen size room's felt comparitively smaller. Spacious area outside hotel for peaceful walk with beautiful garden and mini play area for cricket with net. Coming to dining was missing the authentic South Indian food. But overall good experience.

Room service and house keeping is worst never ever had this kind of experience in any of the hotel group chain. IBIS OMR is not good for stay either solo or family traveller! NOVOTEL may be better option rather than IBIS choice over this area. Please make sure to correct this in future for appropriate steps. Kudos to Reception & Restaurant team, it was outstanding and happy face with warm welcoming. I'd say a great service only for restaurant staffs.

I believe the most memorable aspects of my stay was the staff...I'm speaking of Pooja at the reception, who was immaculately helpful and very welcoming; I'm thinking of the attendants at the restaurant, and the people who cleaned my room, who were extremely polite, helpful, and warm. My only gripe is the quality of the food and the exorbitant prices attached to them. A cup of warm pineapple juice cost me about 250 Rupees! Overall, the people made the place beautiful and worthwhile.

The Rooms are pretty compact, a very congested bathing area! Literally, it's a triangle shape and the base of the triangle is just 2 feet. Imagine the size of it. The double bed was converted to king size but the overlayed cussing created a problem as I slept in the middle of the bed and it goes deep and you feel the under-bed separations. Room Infra could have been better. However, the service is good. The breakfast buffet had decent options with tasty food.

One of best experiences, front desk is super courteous and wants to help us with anything we need. Room service was prompt and provided us additional drinking water while we going out as it was hot outside. Rooms are clean and ergonomically designed. Ample parking space (secured and covered parking in basement) for own vehicles also.

Room is small. No space to breath. No cupboard. No hangers.No iron box or stand which was expected in a 4star. Complement Breakfast was good. WiFi very poor. Reception guys are there to help but too much professional. Morning 7 to 9am u cannot find any help desk and reception guys, empty nobody will be there. After dinner if you keep plates outside it will stay there till next day afternoon. Even If ordered normal veg sandwich u need to wait 45minutes. As small the name, keep expectations lower

The hotel is located on the main road near Sholinganallur junction. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel. The check in and check out was ultra quick and the staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast and dinner was good. The self parking and path to the lobby was bit confusing for the first time. Most of the space in the room was utilised intelligently with options to do basic work. The room was very neat and adequate except shower area which was very small. It's not even in a proper shape. You will definitely hit your hands on the walls when you shower. Large size people will have difficult to turn inside the shower area. For the rest it's clean and good. The colors throughout the hotel and in the rooms were bright and gives a good modern, vibrant feeling.

It's far away from the Chennai Airport and you will spend good one hour to reach there. Not worth the travel. Reached at 5pm and front staff said that it is happy hour. Went to the room and the happy hour is advertised on elevator as well as in the room. Came to the restaurant and ask about it before ordering and it is only for certain brand. So it is good to have even in small letters what they are offering under happy hour. Very much dissappointed. No more IBIS.

The bathroom size was very small and had only hand shower and head shower wasn't available. In one of our room, the current was tripped off but the service was done asap. Otherwise the stay was pleasant with good food options. The service of gazal was very good. She was sweet in accompanying us

I'm writing this review on my 3rd day staying.. feeling very happy to share about the amenities and services... Come to the food, it very delicious and tasty.... especially dinner is good on every day... The person Aditya who serving the food is good in behaviour and very energetic... the person saharsh who is the chef always make us feel better on on delivering tasty foods. keep rocking guys... I'm happy to stay here for 2 more days... 😋😋

Looks like there's no coordination within the team and it's very pathetic to give same answer every time for room service. Paid advance for restaurant asking them to debit all and settle it at the time of checkout but unfortunately every time they are asking to pay instantly. All staff looks like confused and working in haphazard manner. Appreciate Nikita who really expressed her delightness & professional approach.

We've very fantastic stay here. Staff members are very cooperative and property is very neat and clean. Location is also easily accessible. However, due to Metro rail work, you may need face traffic challenge for this year. Food and beverages are also pocket fit and tasty! Ibis chennai is fabulous hotel to stay if you wish to enjoy your holidays near sea shore. It gives you calm stay at this place. Rooms are good and neat. Food also good, staffs are so friendly and helping in nature. kids will love this place.

Staff is great, I had a great time staying here. Breakfast was unexpectedly good and there was a lot of variety. Saharsh helped us cruise through the entire meal experience very smoothly. Rooms are basic and functional, you can get all facilities in no time.

It is ok. The conference halls are decent and can be used for team training. The staff are pretty helpful. The food was the only thing I did not like that much. The food was part of the training buffet. Will have to try their restaurant some other time to give an actual feedback on their food.

Rooms r very small and bed is suitable for couples only. Employee themselves will not suggest for a family having 2 adult and 2 kids. No extra bed is available. Rooms service is not well. Aften 10 PM nobody is picking the call in guest service.

It's really nice experience with coffee and other snacks and nice atmosphere and clean place where we can spend time with friends. Tasty coffee and tea with geniune price. Their staffs are extremely polite and warm welcoming us. It's near to my office.

It is a nice place to stay. Room service was very good. They took proper care of cleaning and requirements like water,tea and coffee. The location is also good. It is only 3 km away from ECR beach. It is also in the vicinity of the major IT tech companies.

Pros: Rooms are clean. Staffs are friendly. Cons: Rooms are too cozy. The shower place is even more narrow. Not at all comfortable. Service is extremely slow & not at all good. There is no shampoo in bathroom. There is no shaving kit as well. They don't even care to check it. AC doesn't work properly. After multiple complaints also they couldn't fix it or change the room. We had sweaty unslept nights. Laundry is just a fake one. I don't know how they wash it doesn't seem like being washed at all. If there is any stain that can be removed just by rubbing, that tooo they can't remove. In room dining is even more slow. One needs to order twice to confirm the order. It takes 2hrs to deliver the order. Many a times they don't care to pick up the phone. I had to go to the restaurant twice as they were not picking up calls. Extremely unpleasant experience this time with this kind of chain of hotel. @IBIS, you are running a services business. If the service is of this standard then there is some serious issues which needs attention.

IBIS has best in the service. I was on official trip and stucked due to cyclone 🌀 but they had made sure 24 hrs of power supply and internet connectivity. 3 times meals were also superb. Thanks for taking care of all things during the toughest weather ☁️ in Chennai

Everything was Good enough to say "I would prefer to come back again and again here". Few things which I didn't like are, 1. At reception staff had not given me the complete information about the room, like restaurant and room service phone numbers. 2. They gave me the access card/key for the room and asked me to go to room, no one was there to guide me to the room.

We have loved it here. Super polite and appropriately friendly staff 😆 they really went above and beyond to give that old fashioned personal touch to make sure we were happy here. Attentive but not intrusive. This place has implemented as many eco friendly measures as possible. The buffet & food is excellent, high grade, so many veggie & healthy options. Definitely include breakfast in your booking. Had a great old fashioned cocktail from the bar. Everyone speaks English. Gym is well maintained. So many staff to mention but Mugesh gets special mention for being enterprising! We will miss you all.

The ambiance of the hotel is positive aspect worth mentioning. The overall atmosphere exudes a feel-good vibe, creating a welcoming environment for guests. However, I must express my disappointment with the size of the bathroom. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional room service provided by Pappu Kumar. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor significantly enhanced my experience.

Had the privilege to stay at ibis OMR Chennai. The stay was absolute bliss. The staff are courteous and the service is excellent. I love how everyone greets you with a smile. Amin was really good with his craft making my stay hassle free. Overall a warm and pleasant stay here. Would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The hotel is nice, tidy and clean and offers lots of play opportunities for the kids. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and food. A special mention goes to Afeefu who provided great food and a smile throughout the service. I'm glad to meet him.

Nice at this price (we got for 3K for a couple and kid). Their breakfast is an amazing spread. Plus this facility also has decent swimming pool shared with Novotel. Good experience.

Gazal at the reception was a great hostess ever smiling and willing to help. She is a role model of how the hospitality industry should function. Had to call 3 times the house keeping to get a laundry bag after 30 min.Though it took 90 min to serve me cut fruits n milk at midnight, overall experience was good.

Attended a function here in the small party hall located on the ground floor and had a buffet lunch. The hall arrangement was neatly done. The cake was made nicely and the table and background decoration was also good. Starting from the welcome drink to the food items, all were tasty. All the members who attended the program enjoyed the food. Staff cooperation was very good.

The hotel is wonderful, neat and clean with lots of gaming options for kids. The staff is very friendly with good knowledge of city and food. Special mention to Afeefu who suggested wonderful food and smiling throughout his service. Nice to meet him.

Good car parking facility and service is good.... Can improve small issues checking lights and TV signals before handing rooms to customers .... Staffs are polite and getting response immediately... Food is good....

Had a wonderful stay at ibis OMR with family. The property was well maintained with ample parking and amenities. Luyi and Pooja at the reception were cordial and helped us with a swift check in. They also clearly explained us about the amenities and food options available. The experience was totally hassle free. The rooms were neat and compact and perfect for a small family. The complimentary breakfast was sumptuous with a generous spread of options to choose from. The support staff were very friendly and made our stay totally comfortable. Highly recommended.

No frill no nonsense, economic, clean, missed some items which would have been there in room without asking, like dairy whitener. Toilet size can be compared with of an aircraft. Shower too is small . Room size is also small. But i will say that for official tours and night stay, its good. No compromise on cleanliness , thats good. Campus has a small temple, and i liked it.

The stay was very peaceful and the service is really quick and cooperative. They have extravagant good taste food.

The hotel has some excellent features. I didn't have to call for room service, they have an QR code which allows you to order and they would call you back for any preferences and then bring it to you. Breakfast spread is huge. Now I ll come to the best part - live counter for filter coffeee. It is the best I have ever had. That's a must try.

I stayed 2 days. I'm really enjoyed and service person are really great... Especially, "poorvi" receptionist was awesome women. She is very kind.

This was the first time stay in Ibis OMR Chennai. Hotel stay was fine. Room are small but sufficient for two persons. Washroom are quite small. I really like the food preparation. I would give 5/5 star to Rakesh Rana(chef) for the dishes. From soup, starter, salad and main course is very delicious. We didn't find any other restaurants where they are North Indian dishes. North Indian variety is delicious. We stayed for seven days and every day we have different dishes.

Great experience. The rooms are very cosy, clean and hygiene. The food is very good and tasty with large variety of menu to choose from. Only issue is with the office drop and pickup facility. Out of 5 days, the cab was not on time for first 2 days. After escalating the issue, it improved

I stayed in this hotel on Oct 6, 2022 for one night with my family. Per night cost is fine. The room size is not that big however decent enough. Well maintained and hygienic which is important. This hotel and Novotel are in same premises. The dinner buffet variety is not great but decent in the price range of INR 1k plus taxes. Breakfast is complimentary with room rent and options are good. The hospitality is good and I liked the behavior of reception, room service, valet and restaurant including bar. Overall value for money.

Had good stay in the hotel. Rooms are too small when compared to others. It doesn't fit for family to stay. Morning breakfast has lot of varieties and taste is excellent. Must try the filter coffee which they give, really very nice. Evenings they play nice music and entertain the guest. If we are free, definitely can enjoy

The room is clean, neat and exactly the way I wanted it. Front desk, a few fantabulous people ready to help. Excellent breakfast served even if it is a few minutes delayed from the scheduled time 😍. Was there for a night with family. The good points are the very spacious parking for those who may be travelling with a car , the good breakfast buffet and the very functional and clean rooms. It may be a better ideal to use glass bottles for water instead of plastic. The check in and out process needs to be more smooth though, just one person manning multiple counters at both instances for me. Another plus is one can order food from outside and collect it at the main gate.

One the best hotels that I had ever stayed in. The only thing that makes this hotel stand apart is the staff, especially Taniya (Guest Relations Manager). The team welcomes you with a warmth when you check in and they take care of your each and every need. You are made feel valuable and the care is genuine. It was my home away from home ans I will surely come back on my next visit to Chennai.

A very decent and affordable stay is assured at Ibis. The check in and check out was seamless, has a good restaurant, warm staff, a 24 hours gym but doesn't have a swimming pool. I took the breakfast and dinner staycation option and it was real good. The rooms are pretty small and the bathrooms even smaller, that's was the only drawback. Otherwise, rest assured it's a great place to stay, ample parking space, great amenities and much away from all the chaos of the city.

The place is really great. Had initially planned to stay for 2 days but then decided to stay over for the entire weekend. The amenities are really great. They have a couple of sports. The staff are very friendly. Joel one of the staff working at Ibis has been super friendly and helpful. I would recommend everyone to plan a visit here.

Booked here for 2 nights Had a good experience Check in took time as it was a Saturday. I felt the check in time was a little late compared to others - 2pm. We reached by 12.45 and had to wait 30 40 minutes for our room. Service was good. Booked with breakfast buffet. The buffet was decent, not amazing. We were leaving early the next day by 6. We requested for a takeaway and they packed a sandwich, cut fruits and a bottle of juice for each person. The rooms were clean. They allow food from outside which is a huge plus. You just need to collect it from the gate. They provide plates and cutlery for you to eat in your room. They have a pool also from 8am to 8pm.

I went there for couple of days which was suddenly planned. I was so happy with the service. The staff was so pleasing . Hope to stay there again.! I’d surely come there for a vacation.!

Had a 2 day stay in Novotel. Experienced the best hospitality and all the staff were courteous. Felt one of the best place to chill out with your friends in OMR. Will visit again in my next trip. Special kudos to the reception team fir smoother check-in and check-out

Room is great. Room service is great. Restaurant is also superb and has great support staff also. Reception people are also good. Specially found a great soul who is very hard working & very nice and her name is "ARTI". Whenever I visit chennai, I'll always visit this hotel for sure.
