Lake is huge but dirty and don't try to go their because snails and empty shells may hurt you.During summer it gets partially dry.Nice for fishing .For evenning walk the lake is best place near SRM KTR.The lake is near Aboard Valley .

The lake is obviously contaminated with drainage and other water waste sources. But it's not that dirty. A nice view and no: of waterbirds arrives there by evening time. A far by tree can be seen covered with egrets and sometimes darter or blue heron can also be seen

The lake is big but not clean. Also it is not developed as a tourist spot. The roads around lake is not cemented and very narrow.

Potheri Lake is in between Abode Valley Housing Complex and Jain Avalone Springs apartments. On the Northern side of Potheri Lake is the SRM Institute of Science & Technology.This lake is frequented by many waterbirds like Painted Storks, Sandpipers, Herons etc.

This place has a lot of nostalgia attached. My 4 years of Engineering in SRM is incomplete without this place. So many chit chat, late night walks with friends, enjoying nice afternoon, everything is associated with this place. Every SRMITE needs to step foot at this place one in his or her college life.

this is a narrow road, which is bumpy. The road is not well defined. you can have a walk along this lake, giving us a peaceful feel.
