e are a family of 13 including a child and a toddler and 2 senior citizens . The property is beautiful and well maintained . The reason for giving it one star is the absolutely unprofessional and rude behavior of the manager Ms Mahalakshmi . I am writing this review during my stay which is from 1st jan to 3rd jan . We arrived today by 2pm . The reason we chose a villa and not resort is primarily for the safety factor in these COVID times. Our main concern was not to eat outside food and wanted to prepare our own food . No where in the welcome mail or any written communication from Ms Mahalakshmi was it mentioned that we can’t access the kitchen . Having stayed in numerous villas in India and abroad we have never encountered restrictions with regards to access to the villa for which we have paid for the period . When you rent a villa it’s assumed it’s in its entirety . Ms Mahalakshmi refused entry to the kitchen saying earlier someone had damaged some property , so if tomorrow someone damages a fixture in the bathroom be prepared to have no access to the bathrooms ! Then she demanded 3000 per day to use the kitchen ! Then in the night at 10 pm she instructed the caretaker to lock the kitchen ! Never have we had such a humiliating experience in a holiday . Not once did Ms Mahalakshmi even ask if we are comfortable or is everything okay . The entire time that we have been here she has hounded us with phone calls asking what we are making and how much we are cooking !!! Despite having paid for 11 people for beds no arrangement for the extra 3 beds was made . We had to ask the caretaker and his reply was ‘ ask Ms Mahalakshmi ‘ rather rudely . So apparently Ms Mahalakshmi thinks her duty is to harass the customer and absolutely not be bothered to provide the basic facility (bed!!!) for which money is taken in advance . To top this she threatened saying there are cctv cameras in the kitchen to watch us . Our we fugitives ! This holiday feels like a quarantine facility where you can relax and enjoy as per the timings and facilities Ms Mahalakshmi deems appropriate . It’s very unfortunate that such a beautiful property is marred by the ugly reception bestowed on us .

WARNING! The kitchen is haunted !!! It gets locked without your knowledge at night . If you don’t buy the reasons told by them to stay away, then a new one will be cooked by the manager. pay 3,000 /- then bad sprit goes away . Advice to owners:- dear sir/madam, You have a good taste and it’s visible in many aspects of your property. This makes me think you must be well travelled and might be appreciative about hospitality as an experience. We are here for holiday instead we are haunted with several calls form your manger each in contradiction with the previous one . It ruins the experience and spoils the mood. Charge us beforehand and be clear in your communications instead of your people getting petty at the last minute. If anyone is willing to pay 30,000 a night for the entire villa and stay for 2 nights , do you think coming up with surprises of kitchen embargo and locking it up does justices to the people staying ? or even to your property? Come up with a straight forward way to sell your FnB ,many will buy . Mosquito here is a major problem too, ALL OUT at rooms would aid. I hope logic would prevail and you would make amends.

Be prepared to share the space with the entire staff in what feels like their vacation. On our family vacation, we have woken up to the caretakers inside the villa kitchen making their own breakfast and playing music on full volume. The manager went as far as to have a caretaker watch us periodically in the kitchen when we were cooking to ensure we aren’t using their ingredients. At no point in our 3 day stay were we ever left alone in privacy, they would walk in and out of the house as they please. Not only were they rude, they even moved our personal belongings around in common spaces. On the morning of the checkout, the staff was constantly in our faces while we packed. They started cleaning and preparing the house for the next guests well before the official checkout time and while we were still IN the houses using the washrooms. You may think you have rented a luxurious villa but it feels no different than a hostel when you have to share it with strangers. Especially a kitchen. That said, this villa is beautiful and very well maintained. The manager and staff need basic sensitivity and hospitality training. A separate kitchen (for the room service or staff access ) that’s not in the living room of the guests is required.

Our family had a wonderful stay at 154 pearl beach. The property has all the facilities to keep everyone engaged during the stay. The pool with the slide was amazing and a quick dip on hot summer days was very refreshing indeed. The open air theater was a great experience and we happened to catch up on some good movies under the stars! All rooms were well appointed and maintained well, the place is very clean and the staff are warm and quick to respond to requests. Shall definitely come back for our next holiday.

Stay was realy good, has a realy gud swimming pool. But the down side they charge for food is very high. And the quantity is very less. Nearly a 5 star menu price, charging around 850 for a just biriyani and 1 side. They even charge extra for my 3 year old for food and stay.

Had a wonderful stay and spent quality time with friends and family We are 4 families with 8 adults and 6 kids. The kids loved the big screen, indoor activities, trampoline, beach and especially the pool. The highlight of the trip is the food, it is just like homemade food and the food is so fresh, organic and delicious. Kudos to the entire team and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a staycation :) A special thanks to Amudha for making the overall stay experience wonderful and also for accommodating our requests :)

It's a beautiful property. Rooms and Bathrooms are very spacious and they provide you with all the modern facilities like Mini Refrigerator, Kettle, Safe Box, Iron etc in all the rooms. Amazing Swimming Pool with Slide and water fall. Kids enjoyed Open Air Theatre. It was that beautiful experience. The staff was so helpful and courteous. The organic food served was just amazing. We will surely be visiting soon.

We had the best time of our lives and have never experienced this. The water slide was the highlight but so was the EXCELLENT food, the outdoor theatre and the archery and shooting range and water sports. It’s hard to pin point what my favourite thing was. This is an experience I will never forget. Everyone took such good care of us and the water sports and kayaking were really unforgettable. Unlike anything you will ever experience

A pleasant stay at a place that's well maintained. Not too far from the coastal area and quite easy to navigate too. The swimming pool, deck area and balcony areas were brilliant. The caretakers were extremely professional. Strongly recommend.

Had the time of my life at 514 Pearl Beach. It is located in a gated community on the ECR and it is right on the beach. Accommodation Rooms are extremely comfortable and toilets are very clean. Air conditioning, TV, WiFi and kitchen facilities are all available in each room. Toilets are stocked with all natural organic toiletries. Food The staff is well trained in making authentic Tamil cuisine. All seafood made is freshly caught and served. Everything on the menu is top class and made using organic ingredients. All food is made keeping health in mind. Activities There are a wide array of activities to choose from so there is no chance you will get bored over here:- - Home theater - Karaoke - Archery - Target Shooting - Swimming pool with a water slide(must try) - ATV rides - Buggy rides - Cycling There are also water sports available like:- - Jet Ski rides - Ocean kayaking - Sail boating - Catamaran rides Staff They are very helpful, kind and respectful and will attend to all of your queries. All in all an amazing experience and will 100% come back again.

We visited 154 Pearl Beach for a family (5 adults and 5 kids) getaway. The property is immaculate, well maintained and very tastefully done. The kids loved the pool (especially the slide and the waterfalls). We also enjoyed the outdoor movie screening at night. The beach is just a few minutes walk from the property. Food was well prepared as well. A word of appreciation to Purshothaman and the women staff. They were very cordial and helpful. Our thanks to Mahalakshmi for coordinating and helping us have a good time. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and looking forward to visiting again.

We travelled as a group of 11 people to 154 Pearl Beach. Had an excellent stay at the property. The pool with slide is amazing. The staff at property is very accommodating and able to customise food based on your preference. No complaints regards to milk items like paneer and milk for vegetarian members in group. Beach with good access from property is very clean. They provided us with life jackets for access to sea. Will definitely recommend the property and plan to come again in future. One of the best places I've ever been to! Such a good calm place with an amazing swimming pool. The best part about staying here is their hospitality. I've even staying here for past 2 days , the food prepared here was soo good. I'm in love with this place and their food menu. People must try their barbecue over here for sure.

Wonderful place to have a short getaway from Chennai. Good hospitality and neatly maintained place. The Staff were very courteous and helpful. We felt that the food was a little bit on the expensive side. Overall a weekend well enjoyed.

(Carrom,Cards & Trampoline) -Spacious Green lawn with hammocks. -Tasty home made organic food. -Friendly care taker. -Lot of optional near by water activities. -Entire property is well lite on night and provides good safety as it's under gated security. Cons: -Could have better & high fence to provide privacy. Currently, swimming pool, theatre, lawn, hammocks, sundeck all are visible from near by road. Since the locality is not that much public accessible it can be ignored. but still it's a very small concern. Rest all good. -No near by hotels, drugstore or convenience store. We should plan and bag things while in the city highway. Anyway caretaker will support as much as possible.

We were here for 3 days and our experience was awesome .. here are some more details: 1.) Property - Awesome location and a tastefully done house. The 2 bedrooms on the first floor large with a lovely balcony. 2.) Food - we tried the South Indian breakfast which was tasty and very well done. The care taker is very helpful and took care of all the needs 3.) Sports - the property had their own Kayak, Jetski and other equipment’s. the care taker took us safely and helped with the sports. The movie screen is amazing The networks don’t work , WiFi is not good - but I think it is good .. you would like to be disconnected and enjoy the place ... We had an amazing stay at 154 Pearl Beach. The staff were courteous and the whole trip was seamless. The caretaker was mindful of everyone's needs and did a great job. We went as a group with kids and adults, and the place was well equipped for everyone. The beach access was great and the pool and the big screen TV were fun experiences. Loved every bit of our stay at the beach house. Our group had senior citizens as well as kids. Everyone found something to do ... swimming, cycling, walking, watching sunrise and sunset at the beach or just chilling at the deck. Well maintained property, gracious host and delicious food.

We stayed at this place for 2 days and the first glimpse of the house was like "wow". A place that is created thoughtfully to make the vacation perfect. Room sizes are good and bathroom sizes are too good. You will find all things that hotels provide (except dental kits) . Staff is polite, humble and prepares delectable South Indian food. Place is close to beach so one can walk easily early mornings as well. They have all arrangements like cycling, trampoline, archery , sports, ATV, movie projectors , speakers with mics for karaoke. Pool is amazing with a slide that is a highlight . From food perspective, I really appreciated that they don't just create buffets spread and then end up wasting food so guests need to be little good with estimates of telling quantity of food they want. They make less varieties but everything taste so well. Really enjoyed the barbeque they served on one of the evening. Overall it was a great experience and nothing short of a 5 star luxury feel and highly recommended.

I would have given 5/5 except for one thing, that is food. The amount food they cooked (quantity) was not sufficient enough for our group of people. Except that it was an wonderful time. A beautiful and extremely well Maintained property, a very caring and helpful property manager - Puroshottam, was always around to help along with all other members of the kitchen and cleaning crew. Beach is 5mins walking. The property has high quality fixtures and amenities, and extremely well thought through. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here and do recommend it very strongly.

Lovely space, easily accommodates 8 people. The outdoor seating areas, pool and outdoor movie theater are amazing and just as shown in the photos. The caretaker, Purushottam is very helpful and sweet. He lives on site and showed us around He speaks very little English so communication was a bit challenging but the manager, Mahalakshmi was available via phone and took care of all our queries.

Our stay in the property was for 2 nights and the experience was really good.. The rooms were clean, spacious and well ventilated. The private pool with a water slide is safe even for kids. Fresh and hot food was prepared by the staff as per our customised menu separately for adults and kids. A karaoke unit is also available for use in the dining area. The beach is 5mins from the property. Cycles are available and you can either cycle or walk to the beach. Other water sports are available at extra cost. I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a getaway that is calm and peaceful.

A 11 year old property this week maintained was a stunner. Amazing property and very beautifully made. Feels like home. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The rooms are very well equipped and ventilated. Our stay was for two nights and we really enjoyed to the max. They have a lot of adventure and outdoor activities which are a must try for thrill seekers. If you want a peaceful vacation with friends and family, this is the perfect place. The private beach is just 700m away. The caretaker Purshotam is very helpful and cooperative. He made our stay very comfortable. Good property, well maintained, nice staff. Food is good. Amenities are fairly good. They warn against mosquitoes, and insects. Observed a baby frog in the bath room in the early hours. But disappeared by morning. 2 master bed rooms on the First floor with good views. 2 bed rooms on the ground floor out of which one is on the other side of the entrance. Be careful with your head in the room pearl 1 under the stair case. We bumped on it twice with considerable pain. Needs re arrangement of this space. Not for elderly.

Our family of 8 stayed for a night at 154 Pearl Beach. It was the most fun family trip because 154 had everything that you needed to make our trip memorable. The place was neat and clean and was better than it looked in pictures. It was such a well thought out space for maximum comfort. The home cooked food was sumptuous. Their trampoline and pool (with slide and a small waterfall!) took all our attention. We didn’t even have time to get to the beach activites in our short time which we will definitely be coming back for. It was like a home outside of home. We highly recommend staying at 154 to enjoy their hospitality and the many many activities they plan for you. The team needs special mention because they make sure you’re most comfortable and are left wanting nothing!
