I
visited
this
restaurant,
"Blanc
Cafe"
on
a
rainy
day
when
my
tongue
started
bugging
for
a
quick
bite.
I
chose
this
restaurant
as
it
was
in
the
vicinity
from
the
place
I
lived.
It's
a
small
restaurant
which
has
three
tables
on
the
ground
floor
which
can
facilitate
15
persons
and
on
the
"Rooftop",
there
are
five
tables
which
can
accommodate
around
20
persons.
Despite
the
tables
and
chairs
are
made
out
of
heavy
iron,
it
is
cosy
and
pleasant
ambience.
You
can
watch
your
food
being
prepared
in
its
live
kitchen.
It
has
two
gigantic
"Shawarma"
machine
at
the
entrance,
one
for
the
Chicken
and
the
other
for
the
beef.
It
is
uncommon
to
find
beef
shawarma
in
Chennai.
As
an
avid
beef
eater
(
I
eat
beef
almost
every
day),
I
opted
for
"Spl
Beef
Shawarma
Plate".
The
special
variant
is
purely
minced
meat
without
veggies.
Until
the
food
arrived,
I
was
snooping
through
the
menu
card
and
ordered
"Strawberry
Mojitos".
When
the
shawarma
arrived
finally,
I
couldn't
resist
myself
from
eating
it.
The
finely
minced
beef
was
blended
with
generous
mayonnaise
and
kept
in
between
two
lightly
toasted
kuboos
(An
Arabian
bread).
In
addition,
salad
pickle
made
of
carrot,
cucumber
and
green
chilli
soaked
in
vinegar
was
served.
The
aroma
from
it
made
me
drool.
Shawarma
tasted
delicious
and
yummy.
It
went
well
with
mojitos.
On
the
cost
side,
it
was
priced
Rs.120
which
was
affordable
and
pocket-friendly
for
the
people
with
the
thrifty
budget.
Overall
food,
service
and
ambience
are
worth
every
penny
you
pay.
