We always choose a vegetarian option. It was around 10 PM when we had dinner and it started to rain heavily. Quick service, good food. Great ambience, however, it was also really busy at the time.

One of the finest restaurants in the location. The environment is good. Food is of great quality. Systematically managed crowd. Overall the process was smooth. We tried idli, dosa, mini idli and banana leaf parotta. Out of these banana leaf parotta was fantastic. A great stop of good vegetarian food.

Food was average. Had mini meals which were very spicy and not very tasty. Dosa was good, barotta kurma tasted better. Gobi was good, faluda also was good but the cost is more. Parking facilities are available and very approachable from the main road. Service took a lot of time as waiters were very busy tending others. Water quality was bitter.

Good hotel, but spoon may be cleaned little bit. Little bit food particles waa there . Food was good. Also toilet facilities available for all including handicapped. Toilet clean . Washroom also clean.

I have tried this restaurant for lunch this afternoon while returning back home. This hotel has good parking facilities even though it is located on the highway. The interiors of the hotel also looked good. We decided to try meals and naan for lunch. I ordered chilly Gobi manchurian too. Gobi turned out to be a disaster because it was too spicy and I had to left them as it is and it was a pure waste of money. Naan and paneer butter masala was good. Meals turned out to be a disappointment too where the sides, curry and curd didn’t taste well. Looking at the pricing of all the items in this restaurant I was expecting a great taste but it didn’t work out well for us today. Looking at the previous reviews I had a high opinion too. I will have to try different options next time and see whether this place is really worth the name.

Guntur podi idly was really good. It is spicy and tasty. They provide sambar and coconut chutney additionally. We tried virudhunagar parotta there. This parotta is usually provided with non vegetarian gravies. Initially I have wondered who will eat this parotta with vegetarian gravies? Ha ha. But believe me it was good. They usually provide vegetarian paya, vadacurry, channa masala or kuruma and additionally raita. For a single plate they give three small parottas. It's worth trying. Apart from this, they're having idiyappam and other vegetarian options.

Not sure how to describe. But it was a wonderful experience here. Fried rice are not spicy. Vegetable briyani is not a good option. Meals was awesome. Mini meals is good. Ambience is great! Price is high! (No doubt) Lots of parking available. Even in the back side. But the back side was full of water during rainy season. Restrooms are clean. But it is small. Overall it is a nice experience.

Randomly we stopped at this place while travelling from Pondicherry to Andhra…but later on we realised that our decision of stopping at the place was so perfect. As we entered the restaurant, the aroma of the authentic south Indian food welcomed us. We ordered authentic south Indian lunch meal, masala dosa, plain dosa but i cant tell which one was best. Because all the dishes were delicious. Service was also good. Safe Parking space is there. Will definitely visit again.

Shri balajee bawan a famous brand and this is easily identifiable near potheri - guduvanchery. Huge place with AC and Non AC seatings. Clean place and bigger car parking. Lot of waiters and suppliers which makes the life easier. Orders received without any delay. We could see people flowing in the hotel at any time. Good quality food and price was slightly higher when compared to other hotels.AC seating is accompanied with water fountain which is a plus.went with family and came out with smile . Good place.

Nice place, and good veg food. Service was quick. Well maintained, clean and polite staff. They provide car parking facility, which is just behind the hotel. We stopped by for lunch. They have mini lunch, soth Indian and North Indian meals. While it was lunch time, they offered other tiffin items as well. It's right on GST, and easy to notice. We were returning to Chennai and it was lunch time, when we spotted this place.

Had kaima parotta, onion rava, onion uthappam and idly. Kaima parotta was really bad. Idly and the dosa were good. The people waiting us are polite and friendly. A good place to stop by on the highway. The restaurant was clean, the washrooms as well. Overall a good experience.

Plain Jane, no frills, South Indian restaurant. Dinner time no meals only tiffin as usual. (English translation for North Indians- meals= Thali, Tiffin= Dosa, idli etc) some Chinese, North Indian and pao bhaji type stuff was available. Rawa dosa was crispier and crunchier than masala dosa. All chutneys and Sambhar were great. Tea, somehow has better flavour to my choice than north Indian restaurants.

Had lunch in AC room. Very nice to eat meal. Started soup and end with ice cream.

The quality of food is of high standard and service is equally good. The car parking facility is on the service road - it may not be a problem right now but when the road is extended (which btw is in on progress), it will be a problem.

After a long years, had a traditional lunch from this veg restaurant. One the way back to Chennai, we have visited this restaurant for lunch. This restaurant is located on GST Road and near to SRM Valliammai Engineering College. They maintained their rest rooms very well as well as hygienic and they Have enough huge car parking, they have party hall also. We have ordered parrotaa and veg. Fried rice and Gobi 65. All food taste is top class, I have to say about their lunch menu items, they started from tomotoo soup with bread peaces, nice aroma as well good taste and they serve the rice with hot starting from podi and ghee is top notch... I had this combination after a long years.... It is perfect mixing and podi taste is good even taken Raw. Sambar, karakulumbhu and kootu pooriyal all gives overall comfort and tastefull food... After taking this food.... I felt sleepy.... But safely drive and came our home safely and feel down the bed, had a wonderful sleep.... Must visit... Strongly recommended this restaurant for your hungry hours

All items we tried were very tasty.. delicious would be the right word to describe.. Loved the pongal and idly vadacurry combo especially. Poori was served with Potato masala n Channa masala which was a good thing too. Seats were almost full during our visit, but service was quick and prompt. A very good veg restaurant to have food with family in case you are traveling back to Chennai in GST road. Car parking space is good enough and restaurant is located almost opp to SRM university campus on main road.

Balaji Bhavan is one of the best vegetarian options in Chennai. They maintain high quality standards in Covid times as well. Food is tasty, more it is of higher quality than other vegetarian outlets. Was not in the mood for lunch and ordered chikku milkshake. Awesome taste
