Best Chettinad restaurant in padappai area!! Which is best place to have everyday meals with reasonable price. Varriya of starters available in Chettinad cuisine.

The appearance of the hotel gave me a less than ideal first impression. The place is pretty small and maintenance does not seem to be high on their list of priorities. The waiter who served us seemed a little too excited for his own good. He was fast in giving serving the order but instead of listening to what we wanted, he ended up deciding our order and served them accordingly. I felt the whole one hour drama pretty hilarious. The taste was excellent and the quantity was adequate for the cost. Definitely a place to go to if you are on a tight budget.

Yummy non veg food with moderate price. Decent restaurant for non veg in the neighborhood. Non veg meals with chicken and fish gravy is just 80 bucks. Their kothu Parotta is highlight. ( Upgrading to four stars from three... For past eight months I am visiting this restaurant... Their consistency is remarkable.... Keep it up folks)

Briyani was really good. One fine restuarant around urapakkam. Not a restaurant to mention any special dishes to try. You can trust any dish to try and you will satisfied. Authentic chettinad style dishes are very good and tasty. Will be one good all in dine in restaurant. Good for kids and family.

Worst! Half boiled rice la chicken fried rice (no chicken, no oil, no salt), Chilli powder salna, rubber parotta.. this is what we bought from them yesterday. Thrown to the street dogs. Worst food, worst service. Big nooooo to tis hotel.

Seriously disappointed, today I visited and had N.koli Biriyani it's not so worth.. but cost 270rs.. so intha hotel povathai thavirkkavum.. not good for poor and middle class peoples.

One of the good hotel near by urappakkam.. Parota is good as always and kalakki too....

Overall good to taste it. Should try to taste this hotel foods. Always crowded. Ac room is small but that's where I suggest to avoid crowd..

Cheap and good. The food was average and that was apt for the price. I recommend you to try egg dosa and chettinad chicken. Other dishes were mostly normal/ you may not like .

The worse dining experience ever. From start to finish not good. Grill chicken was very worst, sorry I'm not able to select 0 so I will give 1 star.

We went for the lunch and ordered rice and 1 omlette they gv me double omlette I can't able to eat then I asked him to take back They told me that if you chosen the AC room u will not get single omlette. Alright atlast I told him to pack the omlette and return to handwash . After all done i asked the omlette and they told me that the server put it in the dustbin. Very worst experience of mine .

Good food and good bill (high price) also you will get 😜. Some food preparation i am not like because the Cook using his hand on the food 🤒(eg: egg dosa, etc )

If you're a barota lover then the right place is SRM Chettinadu hotel, biriyani masala adds more so taste slightly differs, gravy item are good in taste but chilly is more, one who have ulcer pls inform before to put chilly less, and the atmosphere not so good but you can go with family and enjoy ur food and service they serve very fast but not politely.

Total waste of money. We ordered Parota, Grill chicken and few others. The parota is not at all hot and the grill chicken is not cooked properly which still has some blood in it and it is also soggy. When we complain about this there is no proper response. They didn't respond at all. This restaurant used to be good but I don't know what happened.

Literally every one of the servers show the worst attitude towards customers. Such lethargic and irresponsible waiters. Even if you complain about this to the owner who is sitting on the cash counter, he'll just scold them for our sake which you can see very obviously. The problem is not only with the servers but starts with the management too. Worstest hotel I went through in Urappakkam area. Only because there is no other hotel lies very near by them, they have such attitude. Once if any new good hotel comes there, this business will get ruined like anything.

Safetywise, it's horrible. The workers don't wear masks or gloves. The AC server was outright rude to the customers. Food tasted amazing but the ambience was 'Okay'ish. Serva kalakki was the best! And veechu parotta was also really good. Andhra chicken tasted okay but the pepper chicken was spicy hot!

Taste wise good but no quantity. I ordered prawn fry for 140 Rs. They gave only 5 small pieces and more pepper onions only. Money minded. Waste of money. I complaint billing counter no response properly. Worst.

This place is definitely an under rated one and i do not know why they have a 3.9 star rating. I went to this place for lunch the quantity, taste, and pricing are really good. All non-veg items are really good if you like chettinad style. They can definitely make the entire place into Airconditioner so that lots of people can come. The current Airconditioner room is very small and can accommodate only 10 to 12 people.

Was a bit busy place when i went there. AC dine in is like a narrow passageway with four tables. Only one person serves to the customer in AC dine in area. Still he tries to serve with minimal delay. The taste and quantity of three food is okayish to the immediate locality. The place is not very clean as it is mostly busy. Normal dine in area becomes stuffy with time. They have a large variety of food items to choose from. Looks like this place is one of the place of hangouts for college students, daily wagers and satisfies most of the lower and middle economic group of people.

I had a really tasty fried biriyani. In GST road, fried biriyani is rare to find. It was tasty and the quantity was good too. Normal biriyani was average. I also had Naatukozhi fry. The taste was good. But the quantity was really less. The ambience is decent. One can go with family. There's enough parking space in the front.

Very very poor I ordered biriyani but they gave a brinji with chicken in kuzhambu the server says here we like that if you interested eat or get out of here plz don't come another day so. Very bad hotel very bad servers and bad behaviours fake food cheating people's give a false food

SRM Chettinadu definitely has made a name for its country tastes around urapakkam area. Some exclusive items like Rabbit, crab lollipop, botty fry are only available here. Dosa items are also OK but non veg is the main attraction. However tandoori chicken is always not up to mark dry and too salty. Overall it's a top country non veg delicacy restaurant around urapakkam Guduvanchery area..
