Experience
I
recently
had
a
highly
unpleasant
experience
with
an
OYO
hotel
booked
through
goibibo
and
feel
obligated
to
share
it
with
fellow
travelers
to
prevent
anyone
else
from
going
through
the
same
ordeal.
Upon
arriving
at
the
hotel,
I
was
shocked
to
discover
that
there
were
no
available
rooms,
despite
my
confirmed
online
booking.
The
hotel
staff
simply
shrugged
off
their
responsibility
and
asked
me
to
contact
goibibo
for
cancellation.
This
left
me
feeling
unsafe
and
vulnerable,
especially
since
it
was
already
11:00
pm.
Desperate
for
a
place
to
stay,
I
reached
out
to
a
taxi
driver
for
help,
and
he
tried
his
best
to
find
another
hotel
for
me.
Unfortunately,
most
hotels
were
full
due
to
medical
MBBS
admissions,
making
it
even
more
challenging
to
find
accommodation.
Finally,
after
a
stressful
search
lasting
until
1:00
am,
we
managed
to
find
an
alternative
hotel.
However,
the
overall
experience
had
already
left
me
feeling
disappointed
and
wary
of
ever
booking
another
OYO
hotel.
To
add
to
the
frustration,
the
customer
service
from
both
OYO
and
goibibo
was
subpar.
When
I
contacted
goibibo
for
assistance,
they
tried
to
mediate
with
OYO,
but
the
latter
was
unwilling
to
help.
Thankfully,
goibibo
refunded
my
money
and
offered
a
reimbursement
charge,
but
the
entire
ordeal
left
me
with
a
sour
taste
in
my
mouth.
In
conclusion,
I
strongly
advise
against
booking
this
particular
OYO
hotel
or,
perhaps,
any
OYO
property
in
general.
The
lack
of
room
availability
and
uncooperative
customer
service
are
red
flags
that
suggest
an
unreliable
and
potentially
unsafe
experience.
It's
best
to
explore
other
accommodation
options
to
ensure
a
smooth
and
stress-free
trip.
Remember,
travel
should
be
about
creating
wonderful
memories,
not
dealing
with
unnecessary
stress
and
disappointments.
Be
cautious
and
choose
wisely
to
have
a
truly
enjoyable
journey.
