The
reason
that
I
purchased
in
showroom
instead
of
online
is
only
for
service
and
HP
support
assistance.
But
I
didn't
get
that
in
this
case.
I
purchased
an
HP
Pavilion
15
laptop
from
this
showroom
on
July
16th
2023.
In
few
days
I
noticed
that
battery
is
draining
so
fast
and
contacted
showroom.They
asked
me
to
bring
laptop.On
6th
August
when
I
took
laptop
to
showroom
they
did
some
troubleshooting
and
asked
me
to
do
windows
update
and
bring
back
next
day.
The
next
day
seeing
the
issue
they
told
they
won't
do
anything
to
fix
and
asked
me
to
get
online
support.
At
this
point
I
regretted
a
lot
for
not
going
for
online
purchase.
After
that
day
I
pinged
HP
WhatsApp
support,
they
asked
me
to
do
trouble
shooting
same
as
showroom
person
told
.I
requested
a
technician
to
inspect,
but
they
denied.
I
myself
was
doing
these
troubleshooting
for
several
days
losing
my
working
days
.
I
got
fed
up
and
used
"call
me
back"
option
in
hp
support.
For
their
turn
they
also
played
with
me
to
do
same
troubleshooting.
Finally
after
2
weeks
of
calls
they
took
Battery's
IDR
report
on
friday
18th
August
and
accepted
that
the
battery
is
defective
and
told
me
than
technician
will
arrive
within
48
hrs..
On
Monday(21st
aug)
I
rang
back
and
asked
for
the
status
then
only
they
have
initiating
the
technician
request
and
told
me
to
wait
for
another
48
hrs.
I
asked
for
Laptop
replacement
but
they
denied
right
away.
On
Tuesday(22nd
aug)
a
technician
from
Andhra
Pradesh
called
me
and
I
found
out
that
HP
agent
mistakenly
entered
my
address.
I
myself
called
them
and
instructed
to
correct.
On
Wednesday(23rd
aug)
a
vendor
called
me
and
said
it
will
take
4
to
5
days
to
receive
battery,after
that
only
technician
will
be
initiated.
I
called
hp
support
and
demanded
immediate
laptop
replacement.
They
said
they
have
escalated
the
issue
and
superior
will
call
in
30
mins
and
I
postponed
all
my
office
works
and
waited
till
midnight
and
received
no
call.
Today(24th
aug)
I
myself
called
and
explained
all
the
story
to
another
new
agent
and
they
promised
that
I
will
be
receiving
another
call
shortly
and
I
am
waiting...ah
the
never
ending
saga..
Why
can't
HP
just
replace
the
product
when
the
defect
is
critical
and
obvious.
I
learnt
that
atleast
online
purchase
will
save
you
some
money
and
HP
Support
is
horrible
as
hell
.
If
you
are
buying
an
HP
then
Allot
an
hour
everyday
to
have
call
with
support.
Update
1(8th
oct
23)
:
I
got
a
laptop
replacement
and
the
new
laptop
also
having
battery
lasting
issue..
After
3
weeks
of
HP
support,
service
person
took
IDR
logs
and
claimed
battery
is
normal.
HP
support
literally
said
Pavilion's
Battery
lasting
for
2hrs
30
mins
with
minimal
usage
is
completely
usual...Man,
There
is
definitely
a
serious
issue
in
this
model.
