    I had red light flash issue , due to this tv is not getting switched on. Technician came to our house with a fare of 280 rupees then he identified the issue. Later another technician came for door pickup and then returned in 3 to 4 working days. For door pickup they charged 300 rupees and new parts nearly 1000 with overall bill of Rs. 2000. Since I am staying in perungalathur, if I would have gone directly by taking our tv, v would have saved initial 280 and door pick up of 300 rupees. So from my bill i would have saved nearly 600.rupees. writing this review so that other customers know the charges and avoid unwanted charges. On a quality wise they have done good work. Satisfied.

    Poor customer service. I bought a remote and they made me wait for 15 min for just billing. Also some of the tech inician at the shop did not wear mask at all and not following covid guidelines.

    Worst service center in the entire world. They will make you wait like anything and they will test your patience. They don’t respect the customer at all. I got a Sony 65 inch TV and they made me wait like anything for the installation. I am worried post installation on how they will react to complaints.

    Let me start with the + points 1. Ambience is very good 2. Display is truly impressing 3. Very spacious 4. Range of Sony products is huge 5. The sales guy Mr. Iyappan is very friendly and knowledgeable. This guy deserves a nice appreciation from Sony Now negatives 1. Manager is not so customer friendly and flexible. Need to improve on this front

    I gave my PS4 for repairing but they stole my GTA5 cd which was inside it(I hadn't checked inside it before giving). And also they hadn't repaired my PS 4 as there was some simple problem in it . So by seeing internet I solved it by my self. They also told that it cannot be repaired so you have to replace PS4 which costs around 20000₹. So I request you to please contact other sony service centre not this.

    Very bad experience. Don’t go here. They are interested only in money. I stopped buying Sony products. Very bad ! No respect! Make you wait!! They don’t have expertise even opening cover of my old home theatre! Repaired street side shop at fraction of cost!

    Need more attention to customer. Requested wall mount fixing but technician didn’t bring the wall mount. Called directly to service center and no response. Very lethargic in service. All 5 star reviews are fake. Instead of investing money and time for fake reviews should’ve invested in service efficiency.

    Recently, there was an issue with the TV due to which it turned off at random occasionally. We had called Sony customer care. This issue was tagged to Chennai Sony Service Center to look into. Anbuchelvan, one of the engineers of Sony Service Centre, Tambaram did very good service for me in checking and finding out the exact issue with our TV. He didn't delay in coming and helping me out to resolve this issue. He was very polite and patient in resolving our doubts regarding the issue. This was very helpful for us.

    Visited Sony center to afford a ps5. But disappointed with the terms and conditions. They told me we can buy ps5 only with the bundle pack where console , additional joystick and 5 game cds will be given which cost around 80k in total as a bundle pack. So that disappointed me and I'm not ready to spend 80k for a gaming console. So I request Sony to give options to their customers for atleast prebooking their products in sony centers through offline mode during the prebooking period of PS5. Hope this will help many gaming enthusiasts to get their console at affordable price.

    Quick response by the team. They checked my music system and told me what has gone bad. They also told me that cost of fixing would be too high and recommended buying a new one instead. Happy with the courteous service.

    Hello team, This is to appreciate regarding the recent service that has been done by service engineer Anbuchelvan,from West Tambaram,Chennai for the serial number: KLV40W672E/3029742. I've placed the service request and within a day he attended the service promptly. The service engineer's communication and explanation was clear about the problem and the issue was resolved immediately. Furthermore, he gave suggestions to improve the performance of TV.     Zero rating for Sony products and This service centre. They asked 1000plus to put a job card for service for 2499₹ headset. Job card / service number should be given at the first for further reference. Very bad service process. Even if we pay service charges, they can give 50% of discount from MRP . Headset MRP is ₹5000 in Sony centre but outside you can get for ₹2400. So there is no use of a 50% discount. Sony headsets are not even sustaining small water spillage. When I asked for an official email id, they didn't have one. Very rude behaviour from a technician.

    I went there to rectify a defect in my sony camera. Oflate the mechanism for zooming in my camera failed. Hence I went there to fix it. They after checking the camera informed me that the entire outer frame had to be replaced and then only the camera will be able to zoom. They told me that the outer frame had to be sourced from their head office and it will cost around 3000 rupees. Although I accepted their offer , I am pained that to replace a small handle I had to part away with such a big amount. The outlet is air conditioned. It is well furnished. You can park your 2 or 4 wheelers on the road just opposite to the show room. I didn't notice any rest room there at the outlet.

    Tambaram service centre is very worst. After replacing new display other parts are not working... Not having good techical staff... Cost also to high... They will only do replacement. They don't know how to repair..... Bad sony center....

    I have bought Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Headphones, 6 months ago. The usage is for 90 minutes(during work-outs) by average per day with around 30000 listening minutes. I have charged it for 6 to 7 times in this period. A couple of days ago, I could see rust/fungus formation in the charging port and the headphone was not getting charged. As I faced the charging issue, I have raised complaint stating the same and took the product for service center at West Tambaram as the product is within the Warranty period. Now, I'm asked to pay 50% of the product cost for the charging socket issue as I'm told that rust formation on the charge port as affected the board. Just to clarify, I use this product only during work-out sessions. 1. Isn't the product's charge port made of high-quality material considering the high price of this product? Even mobile phones charge port are resistant to rust for many years. 2. As I'm told by the Service consultant that the rust/fungus formation issue is due to sweat, Isn't this product sweat resistant one as advertised? Within 6 months, I'm asked to pay 50% of the product's price for product replacement. This doesn't looks to be a valid or fair service. Poor technical response. Thanks, Thamizharasu

    Kirubakaran from this center was despatched to my home to install my 65 inch tv and Sony Home theatre. He was very patient to advise me on the right height and speaker positions appropriate to my place. He also tested each piece of equipment with different videos. Only after I was fully satisfied with the work did he take my signature. Very pleased with the result.

    Even I had same problem, service engineer who visited couldn't diagnose the problem finally when my spouse that red ants move around, he applied pest chalk and went off, post which remote wasn't working. Engineer claims remote wasn't working longback which is not true

    I am very old customer of this branch and i had called for service and issue for my tv. I have ref many of my friends to this place long back. Now once again I am calling them back for a different issue tommrrow. Earlier was fixed promptly by stanly or rajesh from tambaram branch. I dnt know they are there now but expecting the same service and quality. I am happy with the past support given during the entire process.

    The staff attended with courtesy, booked a complaint properly and a technician visited our place immediately next day and identified the problem correctly. Post the technical review a person from the store called and explained the problem in detail and gave us proper alternative solution and suggestions what next to be done. Satisfied with their overall service.

    PROS 1.This has good service for TVs(new models) 2.reasonable service for playstations 3.place is spacious and location is prominent CONS 1.The engineers are poorly trained in analyzing the root cause of issue.they are just working for temporary solutions. 2.There is unnecessary waiting time. 3.ABSENCE OF MAIN AND COMMON SPARE PARTS 4.     I registered complaint with Sony online And they scheduled with this store. One person came just visited the TV and charged me 300. Said they do this for all the customer irrespective of explaining the problem clearly to Sony service. And subsequently the store will contact with me and send another person to pick the TV up for repair. but they are yet to call back. So all in all time waste and money waste
