Railway station is main for the Chennai location. Opposite to this you can get bus terminal from there you can go to all areas around Tamil Nadu. 1. The station is small and also not look such great 2. Clean is not there. 3. Maintenance is not there.

Lot of development, its combined with Tambaram as corporation, vast business area, earning is easy by Investment, politics is peak with police, rowdyism super, theft lot with police, auto wala earn a lot, often power cut, near by lot of IT's companies, lots of hostel, encroachments a lot

Only is stop this station... Very busy station... Nearby perungalathur bus stand... Request for using subway, because many accidents is near this station..

The small railway station had two platforms. Ticket booking counter and paid toilet service are located on the west side of the station. Major local trains like toward Chennai beach, chengalpattu junction and Kanchipuram trains will stop in this station. Accenture, Perungalathur Govt and Privates bus stand are the major checkpoints of the station. 24 hrs bus service is available toward the south Tamilnadu and koyambedu bus terminal(CMBT).

Train Services Available every 10-20 minutes to Chennai Beach and Chengalpattu and trains to Kanchipuram, Thirumalpur are also available but with less frequency!! The Station is very neat and well maintained..

Perungalathur railway station has 2 platforms where one can entrain or detrain a local trains destined to Beach and Chengalpet stations. Only ticket counter and a not good to use restroom are there in the station. There is a subway to cross the track at one end of the platform and a gated crossing at the other end.

3* for the only Train services. Here main bus stand is located at beside. OverBridge work unfinished yet. Entry & exit gates not Available. The Govt must change the pathway from busstand, and ticketing counter. Because, should be cross train track and to walk a while for ticket counter, and then walk back and change the tracks too. For elderly persons, physical challenge people & infants holding parents are struggling.

I couldn't find a zero or negative number to rate it. They are highly incapable of doing their job They just want their salary to be credited. Better privatize railway network. Atleast it will be more efficient

-Trains are not much frequent here. -There is no proper place to enter into the station or to exit. -There is no proper ticket counter or people to communicate during day time.

Station is clean, the vendors occupy most of the places which is a hindering free flow of passengers and the station dirty. On the GST road side that is east side of the station is very smelling due to urination, this has to be looked after by the corporation authorities my humble request pl

Nice place, I stayed more than a month. I never felt any bad experience instead of it I communicate with more please and had a good relationship

Heavy traffic place..

It is the worst railway station . No proper entry or exit . No proper platform on the ticket counter . It's Very hard to walk. You can see people crossing the railway lines . It's very difficult during noon or at rainy days because of lack of roof covers. (Everytime when a train comes they have to close the gates because of incomplete over bridge. )
