You won't believe me if I said, such a place exists in Chennai. It was heaven. No city sounds in a radius of 5 km. Peaceful, beautiful. It's a deep quarry, so beginner swimmers may swim in the entry portion, and experienced swimmers can swim in the deeper waters, but be cautious always (whether you're an expert or not). There are also some diving spots. A day spent here is a day well spent. Happiness is taking a dip and swimming in the waters for 2 hours and then basking in the sun on one of the stones. There will be snakes, so watch out and pls DO NOT LEAVE OR THROW TRASH AROUND when you're visiting. Again, it's a very deep quarry, so don't go in alone and make sure you carry some floats with you.

Calm place people doing various activities there, don't go deep into the water if you don't know swimming, you can enjoy the nice view without much disturbance, you have to go 2 km on off road so prepare for that! Try it you won't regret! Don't through any plastics there a humble request!

Best to visit early morning. It's deep waters. So care to be taken. Better to go if you know good swimming. Or with a coach.

An adventurous place located in the neighborhood of Chennai City. Reach out this place for a peaceful swim. An early morning ride is a better option. Note: Warning for Deep water, hence swimming inside the bounded area is preferable.

Terrific place. Calm and peaceful and beautiful sceneries and crystal clear waters. Hardly known place I believe. The approach roads are not very clear and Google maps doesn't give the right direction. The route shown in maps is closed by BSF. Need to go through the village before BSF camp and reach the spot. Almost 2km it's totally off road!!

Raptors abode is quary located near vandalur kelambakkam road. Such a heavenly place away from sounds of noisy city. Water is at its purest form. Hills around quary makes it more scenic. Morning rise is preferred. Must visit place and highly recommended
