I
do
not
hate
the
Balaji
Temple.
The
Trustees
are
only
interested
in
making
money.
The
meals
are
charged
for
R100.
Entrance
fee
R30.
You
even
have
to
pay
the
priest
for
blessing.
There
was
a
family
that
bought
meal
vouchers
but
the
voucher
was
not
present
at
the
meal
station.
They
refused
to
serve
a
meal,
I
offered
my
meal
voucher
because
the
person
was
diabetic.
Botswana
is
very
hot,
the
trustees
provided
water
that
was
hot,
no
ice.
After
my
wife
and
I
had
our
meal,
I
took
2
x
500ml
water.
My
wife
had
a
bottle
of
water
which
had
about
100ml
left.
The
Master
of
Ceremonies
approached
me
and
told
me
to
be
considerate.
That
I
should
only
take
1
bottle
.
I
explained
to
him
that
it
was
for
my
wife.
I
eventually
gave
him
both
bottles.
I
also
brought
to
the
MC's
attention
that
I
gave
the
temple
much
more
as
entrance
fee
then
what
was
required.
I
travel
monthly
to
Botswana
and
will
not
be
visiting
The
Balaji
Temple.
The
trustees
manage
temple
as
in
India.
It
is
a
money
making
scheme.
The
trustees
have
a
BIG
EGO,
every
trustee
is
a
chartered
accountant.
It
was
laughable
when
the
MC
introduced
each
trustee.
My
question
to
the
trustees
is
where
was
your
congregation?
The
only
locals
present
was
the
trustees.
Perhaps
it
says
so
much
about
how
the
temple
is
managed.
I
will
advise
any
South
African
travelling
to
the
Balaji
Temple
for
a
prayer
not
to
go
because
it
is
not
a
grand
experience.
Some
of
our
local
temples
have
a
better
atmosphere.
