I tried lunch buffet here.....it was ok ok.... Compared to price and the name of Taj..... "THE TOMATO SOUP WAS NOT SOUP, BUT IT WAS OIL GRAVY" Go if you love to eat sweet...that too unlimited....gulab jamun was very testy.... Total 5-6 items of sweets were there.... Lunch buffet will cost you ₹375 with GST

Dakshin Mandapam Taj Mahal Hotel is a Vegetarian buffet hotel located in the premises of Taj Mahal Hotel. It is located on the first floor of the restaurant. The ambience of the hotel is good. The hall is an open hall and there are no private sittings. Decent number of varieties are available in the buffet including Chinese. Desserts are also available. We went as a group of 20 people and the overall experience is satisfying.

This is a Vegetarian Buffet Restaurant, located in Taj Mahal Hotel, Abids. Situated in 1st Floor & can accommodate 25-30 member seating in total altogether. Buffet price is approx ₹475/person. Decent spread of buffet items, right from soups, onion, carrot & cucumber salad to main course of different flavours of rice, noodles & curries. Two veg starters are served on the table & rest of the items are available for self serving. Staff are quick in service & they respond nicely. Parking is available.

Very peaceful environment cool,food and absolute tasty yummy recipes all item's served was fantastic and specially panner tandoori it's varied variety,i think only Dakshin mandapa chef,nd team does that. I never tasted at all other Restaurants, Food culture was marvelous, excellent service, quality food,best of all restaurants which recently i went. Night light musical concert as vdo shared was superb what a melodious instrumental music played Live it's a great feeling good to be visiting again. Thank you chefs for your excellent food.

It's a good place to have lunch. I have been eating food since the plate meals around 45 to 60 rupees. Now it's 150 rupees.

The food was not even good and especially the chutni and sambar were basically tasteless. They only gave us soupy chutney and for the thick chutney they charged us extra money and even mentioned that thick chutney is only given for parcels .We spent around 150 per person and it was completely not worth it. I strictly dont recommend u to visit this restaurant and have food here.

Food was good. Hara bara dosa is a must try (Dosa with spinach, mint and aloo stuffing). The service was pathetic. They give the water bottles (which are chargeable) without customer’s consent and they hesitate a lot to provide normal water. They treat customers in a rude way.

We were in Secunderabad for some shopping and went to Taj Tristar for lunch and they had buffet served in Dakshin Mandapam and other restaurant had ala carte. Overall for the taste and options of the food, it was worth it. They had a flutist playing live as well, it was a ambience to have a good meal on a busy day. Just want to mention that their starter options are good, enjoyed their sabudana dosa. Pani puri was okay. Some of the dishes had tamil food taste than telugu food.

It's a heritage building situated in the heart of the city. Nice ambience with well trained staff provide warmth hospitality. Fine dining place great quality and scrumptious food. Harabhara Masala Dosa is one of the 'must try' items from their long menu.

Food is average. Hygiene not up to the mark. Very congested.

Good for first tine only. Routine menu and same taste..! Gongura rice is a good delicacy..!
