Makau is the lastest addition to fine dining bars in Hyderabad. I must say...sucha a beautiful property it is. Three floored, huge one and soooo freaking beautiful. I haven't seen a more beautiful place than this in Hyderabad. Loved the vibe..loved the music and loved each corner of it. Coming to food, their starters are amazing. And trust me if you are a person who like to have your drink with a perfect sides then this is the place you must chose. The Burmese parcel, Bhatti da murg, mutton seekhampuri, kodi vepudu & makau special fried chicken are a must must try here. If you are a salad lover then their watermelon feta salad is something you can't miss. In the mains we did try few things and they were okay. Their Asian cuisine is something you must try. I can bet they serve really good Sushi & uramaki. The chicken pasta was merry 😌 I'm really gonna come back to this place to have a peaceful yet amazing time to have my favourite drink with good food and serene music. They got vibe !!!

This place is very well designed for both fine dining and pub. Being a vegetarian, I just loved their food!! Absolutely delicious :) The staff is super courteous and their service is too good!! One of the finest establishments of Hyderabad that I have had the pleasure to visit. On a balmy afternoon, in the peak of summer, we randomly chose this place to have a quick lunch. I was immensely impressed with the abundance of greenery all around which has become a rarity in Hyderabad. With the bar in the center and open area all around, the space looked breezy and roomy. The concept of terracotta blocks as an extension to raise the walls was very innovative and elegant. The seating was scattered across the floor in an uncluttered manner. The ambiance was almost tranquil even with the background sound of a DJ playing. But I will tip my hat to the food especially the Thai green curry which was so creamy and scrumptious. Kudos to the chef and his/her magic hands. Though the price is on the higher range, it is definitely worth the money. I will be going back again. Second visit; DEEPLY disappointed by the fact that a couple cannot get a seat on the second level. Each table is suitable ONLY for a larger group. We were asked to go to the 3rd which was isolated and plain and honestly the ambience was not nearly as beautiful as the floor below. Just like us, four other couples came, saw, and left the place with disappointment. If you ever want to visit Makau, make sure you have big company.

Makau is an amazing place. It has a nice fancy dining area and a club at the top. Please reserve before you visit and also do carry some ID. Food is upto the expectations! We ordered around 8 items and all of them were delicious. The service was good. Must try : The Original Smoky Bbq Chicken - Puff Base 🤩 Over all it is a very good Experience ✌🏻

Good place, refreshing ambience, nice food, live music. They can improve the seating area and make it more spacious, it feels a bit congested. Also, the rates are a bit on the higher side. Sometimes, the music is too loud.

Makau was an exotic treat for sure, a windy and lovely place to visit with friends and family. Live music & songs will be there. Along with that delicious food & lovely dishes which is good to have, cold coffee and puff Pizza is amazing. A must try here would be chicken chips & fried chicken and veg, non veg platters. Overall a good ambient place to relax and have fun.

Amazing food. We loved the spanish garlic prawns and the golden fried prawns. The food is good. The ambience is amazing. The place is kid friendly and family friendly. Great spot for get togethers. I personally loved the mojitos which tasted yummy. Their menu had a lot of variety. Would recommend this to everyone

Loved the place. It’s a bit pricy, but its fine because food was good. Ambience is great too. It’s filled with indoor plants and nice eagle decorative pieces. It has a pub upstairs, which was not great. But the bar and restaurant part was good. I loved their pizza with unique puff-like crust, which I would say is a must try!

The place is very nice, calming with trees all over and cozy. The taste of food is great ,a variety of cuisines are available. Great place to hangout and spend time with friends, family. It is not usually thay crowded during lunch time, so no prior reservation is required. It is a bit expensive but the quantity and quality of most items justify the price.

A nice place in Hyderabad with a lovely and unique ambiance and good food. It comprises of 2 floors and based on your preference of music you can go to the floor of your choosing. Most often one floor has Telugu music while the other has Hindi music. Overall like the ambience, the vibe of the place and the food. Recommend this place.

A star given for the ambience, the lovely aroma all around the place, the air conditioning, and the lobby area, and the hospitality which stops till they take your order and push it into their billing system 2. Another star given for the cocktails and the presentation That's where the star ratings stop... Pathetic food at the price they charge. We have tried Pan-Asian, Indian, Italian, Hyderabadi... It's a nice place with a good ambience and vibe. It has 2 floors with different music for each floor. The place looks good. Food is decent. Got a discount offer on Zomato gold and the live band Kadali is good too.

I recently visited Makau and had a delightful experience. The ambience is top-notch, exuding aesthetic charm, and even on a weekend, it wasn't overcrowded, providing a relaxed atmosphere. The Vegetable Garden Kabab was a standout, complemented by a phenomenal green chutney. The thin-crust Pizza was enjoyable, and the crispy corns were definite highlights, offering a delightful crunch. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake and Chocolate Brownie for dessert were both delicious, concluding the meal on a sweet note. Overall, this place impressed me with its inviting ambience, delectable food, and a memorable dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

Went to this place with friends for lunch. Ambience is good. Food was also good, expect the lamb burger which literally had gravy in it. Otherwise it was good. Also they have a huge spread of menu to choose from. Overall good place to dine out. Also they serves alcoholic beverages. Without alcohol it will cost around 1200-1500 per person.

Must visit restaurant for a pleasant and musical experience with family and loved ones during weekends. Atmosphere is vibrant and food is very tasty if you are willing to spend heavy. Responsive service, good food and an open eating space. That said, it's a little warmer than comfortable on a summer afternoon. Recommended if you're in the mood to try a new place. The conti menu is worth the palate expedition. I wouldn't suggest their veg thali. Side note: there's no dress code, so people in shorts and slippers walk in too; that can be a tad off putting - considering it's not exactly a cheap eat-out.

Ambience is good with live IPL match screening. Live band is available after 9:30PM. Staff service is good. Makau Fried chicken is good. Mexican pizza thin crust is not good. They have BIRA white. Starters are good.Overall experience is nice feel.

Visited the place for dine, wine and music. The band was ok, the old fashioned was great. The food can be better. We went by waiter recommendations, while the chicken was good, the mushroom fritters whatever they are called are ok. Tres leches was a disappointment. I’d give it for the ambience, cocktails and the chicken.

The place looks like magic in the pictures but varies by a good fraction in real time. However, the food is upto the expectations! We ordered 6-7 items and all of them were delicious. The service was good but was a little slow. Do order Dimsums here. They’re great, really!

Well, this place has an amazing ambience, you can really click some instaworthy clicks here. It has a tropical island type of vibe to it. Coming to food, I just loved everything I ordered and the cocktails need a special mention - must try the Makau signature cocktail. Believe me it's worth the hype!

The place is awesome, but the music can get loud at times. I'd like to mention that the they have two types of pizza bases. One is the regular thin crust and the other is a 'puff' base, now puff base is like the flaky pastry with layers of a veg puff or curry puff that we get in our neighborhood bakeries. It's good but unusual. Also, it's very greasy and heavy. So I recommend you order the 'puff' base pizza only if you are in a group.

We have ordered cheese stuffed corn rolls and achri mushroom, both are very tasty and very heavy to stomach. The music was excellent after 11PM. The ambience is so greenery. The place is located in the centre of Madhapur and reachable by all means but the cost is a bit high

I misread the name and description of this place and went here with my 8month old . Very wrong decision, since this place is a proper open bar and has no restriction on smoking section. If you want a pleasant night out with friends this is a very nice place. Has very good food and selection of cocktails and drinks. Slightly on the expensive side but nothing out of the ordinary. We had the Kheema pizza and it was very interesting. The Ramen bowl was also very good pick steeped in flavor.

The ambience was good, however as I don't really like loud places it was not my cup of tea. The day we went there was a band playing Bollywood songs and it was a fun atmosphere. We ordered Sushi, truffle fries( they tasted like regular fries) and soup. They all tasted good. Would surely recommend this place, and maybe even visit again at a quieter time.

In terms of ambiance and the overall vibe, this place is one of the best in the city - which is why you will find it packed most of the time. Make sure to book ahead to avoid waiting for a long time. In terms of the food, their chicken dishes are pretty tasty the Thai curry and rice we ordered was splendid. The starters were also pleasantly tasty. I wanted to try the steak but they didn't execute it well. It was way overcooked - rubbery in texture and was further ruined by the cranberry sauce they provided with it. A simple barbecue sauce would do wonders to that dish. Overall, a good place for a night out to booze and have a light meal with the drinks. Wouldn't suggest for a proper dinner. There are places that offer much better value and taste at this this price point purely in a culinary perspective.

Food was fantastic and service by Rahul was amazing ! The manager, JP, did a great job too, checking on us from time to time ! One small area of inprovement is how they give the takeaways.. our pizza was put upside down (4 pieces) on top of one another, completely ruining the pizza 😅

Staff is very helpful.. the bartender made my drink exactly the way I asked him to! And each time it tasted like the first. Go for the non-veg platter, it won’t disappoint you! Wasn’t quite happy with the dessert. The cake was extremely sweet. One of the highlights was RUDHRA band. It was recommended by a friend but turns out to be my favourite now on! Check the days when they perform and plan your visit. Also, it is super crowded on weekends so make sure you have a reservation!

This place has got a great vibe to it. Liked the food and the chicken tikka at the end was star of the menu. Service is a little slow, needs some improvement here. Another thing is, whenever someone is performing live the sound/output in the speaker is too loud. This disrupts the conversations. Suggest you to keep the output a little slow. In all enjoyed my time!! Recommended.

The food was fairly good with good preparation and quantity. The atmosphere left something to be desired. Very loud with average music. Too many people smoking which is frankly pretty barbaric in this day and age.

The place carries the perfect balance of ambience and cuisines on offer. With several seating options to suit all group sizes it can be a go to place for any occasion. Food quality is excellent and so are the portion sizes. The music at times can be a little loud and service can improve a notch. But overall a great hangout and dining space!

Loved this place. The staff was very courteous, they let us taste a couple of beers so that we could decide which one to go for. They even prepared less spicy chicken tikka for kids which is otherwise not on their menu. The ambience is amazing

Good ambeince. Place is bird themed through and through. You will be placed in a cage shaped table. Food is good but too pricy for the quantity. Orange mocktail is good. Avacado dahi poori is gooood! Ask for Rohit, if you are looking for good overall hospitality. He suggested to try Gulab Jamun my way and its fabulous.

I recently visited this restaurant in Hyderabad with some friends, and we were blown away by the amazing atmosphere! The interior was beautifully decorated, featuring a magnificent Makau bird and incredible hand-made ceilings. We started out with some delicious guest craft beer and two fantastic dishes: the butter garlic prawn and the chef's special chicken starter. Both dishes were incredible and mouth-watering. During the dinner, a Bollywood night band performed, providing a great musical accompaniment for our meal. As the night went on, we made our way to the second floor, where we danced the night away to a fantastic Telegu DJ party. The crowd was lively and welcoming, making it an unforgettable experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food, amazing music, and an unforgettable night out.
