The location is lovely on the border of Maharashtra and Karnataka. T although we stayed for a night, the homemade food really was amazing and it’s serenely peaceful with your dogs. The place has authentic homemade Kolhapuri cuisine. Would definitely recommend this

Absolutely worthy place to stay. It’s a typical farm house kind of cottages you’ll come across. The owner and every staff member were polite and helpful and they will offer you 24x7 room facility. Food is tasty as well.

This resort is on the way to Goa on Amboli ghat road. Feels like staying in a village. Rooms are big. Good surrounding. Exciting to watch peacocks in the evening. A lot of birds like Koyal, Parrots, Kingfisher, Bulbul etc. The owner Shri. Alurkar is a great person. Apart from this resort he has a fish farm for 'Katla' fish weighing upto 5 kgs. Nice place to be with family and friends who prefer natural surrounding.

Simple place. Clean rooms. Great service. More like staying in forest. Nice place to spend few days in serenity.

A quaint, out of the way resort, lovely resort on the way to becoming big and famous. My son and i stayed 1 night at Alurkar resort. This place is owned and run by a sweet and hard working pradeep Alurkar. He welcomes you and makes you feel at home. Other aspects of service are also quite good. The location of the cottages is at the top of the hill slope and the view of the morning sky is just amazing. Also much and many birds. There is space in front of the cottages to sit and relax. The only negative is the proximity to the main road. The few truck and bikes driving by do break the quiet. The rooms themselves are sufficient. The linen is clean and so is the toilet and the bathroom. For me and my son it was comfortable, but lacking in any luxurious frills. I love bird photography and my only complaint is not having had more time here. I will come back on my next road trip.

The location is perfect if you are on the way to goa and need a place to crash because it is placed just before the amboli ghats. The rooms are big and spacious, food is ok but the best thing is fresh clean air, and homely hospitality of the staff and Alurkar Sir. If you want to give ur family a village experience this is a perfect spot. And most importantly it is budget friendly.

I really wish to review it negative,but unfortunately no such option here, we checked in the resort(actually a small facility) he came and shifted our room,for what I don't know ,then at midnight we wanted to go out for some chop chop ,he said the gates are closed and we can't go out until morning we requested but of no use , finally he made us to do check it at midnight,what a bad a.... Owner he is...my Humble request to all of you avoid visiting this property....

I was travelling with my family at night time , and suddenly I felt sleepy while driving. I immediately told my parents that I'm unable to drive at night(1am) in a sleepy mode. So we decided to spend a night nearby. And as it was too late , it was very hard to find a hotel there. Soo we tried our best to find out a hotel and got this. The staff is sooo helpful that they were at their level best to serve us.. I'll give 5 star bcz the service is best and the rooms are neat and clean also with affordable eatery. You will enjoy here and never regret. And the nature 🌿🍃is soo soothing that when ever you'll visit here, will feel heaven..

Rustic and quaint simple clean place with a play area. Good potato chips and tea in local style. It offers an agricultural tour.

I had a wonderful experience at the alurkar resort's. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning & friendly staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!

All suits are comfortable and excellent. It is a Haven for family and old people . You can experience naked nature.

Except very very slow and late food service everything else is great. Comfortable place to stay and relax also not too far from the national highway.

We stayed for a cup of tea and were impressed by this place Super helpful owner who made us feel like family Super great location and it is a place where one should come and stay for a nice evening
