Ramtirtha Waterfall in Ajara is a stunning natural wonder that is definitely worth a visit. The waterfall is located in a lush, green forest and the water cascades down over a series of rocks, creating a picturesque and serene setting. One of the highlights of the waterfall is the opportunity to swim in the clear and refreshing water, which is especially inviting during the hot summer months. The area around the waterfall is also ideal for picnicking, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Visitors should be prepared to do a bit of hiking to reach the waterfall, but the journey is well worth it. The path is surrounded by dense forest and wildlife, providing a peaceful and calming experience. Overall, Ramtirtha Waterfall is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Ajara and looking to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the region.

It is a serene place and one must visit if they want to just sit and enjoy peace. During weekends, yes, there is a rush but I guess you can find your one spot and can chill looking at the flowing water. It's beautiful and peaceful. There is a temple as well where you will get to see a Nandi, he is most worshipped in Ajara. There is a hearsay, that Nandi deity grows an inch every year and the day it touches the roof of the temple, there will be apocalypse. My mom said it's been the same since 50 years now :D There are no tickets here. If you are in Ajara, do visit this place

Just few kms from Ajara, 2km inside on Ajara-Nipani Road. This is an amazing place mostly unexplored by travel enthusiasts. It has a low depth but very wide waterfalls. Place any many temples in its surrounding. Serene & calm experience. Must visit place if you are at nearby place. Best time to visit is during Monsoon.

Ramtirth waterfall, located on the banks of Hiranyakeshi River, is just 2 kilometers far from the town Ajara. The Waterfall here comes into bloom in monsoons. The main feature of the waterfall is that it never dries. The town Ajara is a historic small town, located in Kolhapur District of Maharashtra State, India. The town Ajara is the most beautiful place to be visited, especially during rainy season. According to legend, the place is so named because Lord Rama had stayed here during his exile in the forest. The place is very serene and good for the picnic also . Adjacent to Ramtirtha Falls, there is the temple of Lord Rama. Upon entering the temple, there is a large idol of lord Rama's devotee Hanuman . In the front yard, Lord Rama is standing with Laxman and Goddess Sita. Mother Jagdamba is sitting next to him. Along with it are idols of other gods and goddesses. Large number of devotees come here on the eve of Ram Navami and Mahashivaratra. Must visit place .

The legend has it that Lord Rama visited this place during his banishment for 14 years. Hence the name Ramtirth. A temple dedicated to Lord Rama, Laxman Sita and Hanuman is on the banks of the river Hiranyakeshi. It's about 1.5 Kms from Ajra a small trading town in South Maharashtra. Greenery all around and very scenic place. Please don't litter the place with plastic or garbage.

Very refreshing waterfall on the way to Amboli. We have been traveling for around 7 hours, so it was a sweet break. Nice gushing flow of water, there are fishes aswell in the river, which were jumping in the river. Overall very refreshing waterfall.

This is one of the best place I always visit while driving to Goa. A short break to relax. Most of the time it does not have crowd and you can enjoy the breeze, water and quiet environment. Visit the temple and spend time in the water. Natural pedicure is what you will enjoy here... That's one of the best kids and everyone enjoys. Just sit over the stones and put your feet into the water and enjoy pedicare... Overall this place relaxes you and lifts the mood. I always visit this place.

Ramtirth is natural place to visit. You can spend an hour or two or half a day here. There is waterall which is wide and you can get into water as well as sightseeing over the waterfall. There is temple and good space cor meditation. Snacks center is there too. Enough parking space for cars and bikes. June to November is best time to visit however during monsoon time waterfall will be full flow
