Hi my name is hrishi 27years old professional athlete. I had a severe and a rare injury where my patella tendon had popped out and was visible on my shine. This issue started when I was 15years old, last two years this condition just got worsen where even walking felt unbearable, felt like I am walking on nail bed. I had visited Dr.Russell Pinto’s clinic in margao which is in chowgule college. After seeing my condition and reports Dr. Russell kept me on a rehab plan which included treatments such is needling, cupping, ultrasound etc with a strength and conditioning program along with a diet program. I had a recurring lower back pain for the longest time. I had avoided going for a check-up thinking that the pain would go on its own but reached a point when it was unbearable. I had booked for a session at Physiotherapeautics with Dr. Velbert. After an examination, he explained that I had an upslip he told me what could have caused the issue and what I can do to reduce the pain. With each session I could feel the pain reducing and 4 sessions later it is completely gone.

For months I thought the pain I was experiencing was nothing major or not much to be concerned about, but it kept getting worse. Came for persistent pain in my feet that had been going on for 4 months. After just one session which included a deep massage I felt instant relief. Really quite magical! I had been suffering from constant pain in my right arm and a pain on my shoulder/back. I'd shown a well-known physio in Bombay who had confidently told me after his diagnosis that my problem will get solved in a matter of 2 weeks. Well it didn't. This was during the second wave of COViD. Right after this, I was on a month-long holiday in Goa. That's when I chanced upon this physio centre in Panjim. I got in touch with Dr. Sweezel D'Souza. She was very prompt in helping me find the location as Gmaps can be a bit misleading. My consultation with her went very well. She diagnosed my problem after a lot of examination and care. I realised that the "renowned doctor" from Bombay had diagnosed me completely wrong. Dr. Sweezel asked me to continue with certain exercises. I went to her twice after this for physio sessions. Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience. I thought she was very caring, helpful, dedicated, and experienced. After the consultation once i returned home, I'd forgotten how to carry out the exercises. When I requested her to tell me/show me the exercises again, she sent me videos of about 3-4 exercises from home after her working hours so that I could do them properly. Nobody does that! IMO, there are tons of accomplished, knowledgeable, and experienced doctors. But it's these little acts which make a world of difference to a patient like me. After more than a year, I'm continuing with weight training as she had advised—I'm much better and gradually getting stronger. Thanks a cartload to Dr. Sweezel again!

I had a neck pain due to muscle spasm because of wrong sleeping posture which normally gets cure automatically within a day or two, even did swimming in the sea water but din helped this time and had to suffer for more than a week. I visited Dr Swizel’s clinic wherein I got treated by Dr. Velbert for around an hour with acupressure and later with acupuncture on the same day itself. I was almost got cured off the same day. Had some minor ignorable pain and the other day I was given pain relief treatment with electronic device and taught some exercises. This session also took around an hour. Not a single medicine was given. Doctor is very polite & friendly. Fees are also very much reasonable and highly recommended to visit this place for any kind of physio problems.
